Islam with its teachings and guidelines for life will be able to make moslems more resilient to the problems of the modern era. In reality, Muslims have not achieved these ideals. Thus, there is a need to reactualize the spiritual dimension. This article aims to present the path of love towards Allah attributed to Rabi'ah Al Adawiyah and examine her concept with irfani sufism concept. The method in this research is library research by reviewing various literature in the form of journals, books, scientific articles, and other sources related to irfani Sufism and Rabi'ah Adawiyah's mababbah. The results of this study explain that Rabi'ah Al Adawiyah is one of the famous irfani figures with the concept of mahabbatullah which comes from inspiration to achieve makrifah. This concept provides a new style in taking the maqamat/spiritual journey of a salik to reach the level of karf. From the concept of Rabiah Adawiyah's mahabbah, although it slightly differentiates the stages of maqamat, the stages are in line with the concept of irfani. So that a unification between mahabbah and irfani will be obtained by combining the practice of sharia and riyadhah

The Reformation era in Indonesia presents a political ecosystem that has an impact on the development of Nahdlatul Ulama Universities (PTNU). The development of PTNU is important to study so that there is a better understanding of the development of education in NU, which has long been known for its religious education model, both in the form of pesantren and madrasah. Specifically, this study aims to map the changes that have occurred in PTNU since the reform era in Indonesia.  This study is a qualitative research using data collection including documents, interviews, and observations. This research found that there was an attempt to centralize management with the establishment of the Nahdlatul Ulama Higher Education Institution by the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU), a significant increase in the number of general study programs, and demographic changes on the PTNU campus so that it became more heterogeneous from a religious background.  The conclusion of this research is that the reform era became an era of change in PTNU from the management of educational institutions on a local scale to a national scale, changes in the type of religious universities towards general universities, and changes in campus residents who were originally homogeneous to heterogeneous. The development and changing trends in PTNU are evidence of the appropriation process in PTNU which absorbs external values and is modified so that PTNU can grow and develop in line with the times

Sharia banks in Indonesia are currently experiencing significant developments, these developments must be followed by regulations and good banking management, including handling problem financing. It is undeniable that the financing business in Islamic banking has the potential to experience financing problems. The greater the problematic financing faced by banks, will reduce the soundness level of Islamic banks, decrease the quality of financing and the soundness of banks affect financial liquidity and solvency, which can ultimately affect the trust of depositors and even prospective customers. Not only that, the greater the amount of non-performing financing, the greater the amount of costs for reserve funds that must be provided so that it has a negative impact on profitability, because the losses borne by the bank will reduce profits which ultimately have a negative impact on Islamic bank capital. Related to this, this research was conducted using a qualitative method to analyze the factors that cause problem financing, as well as strategies for preventing and resolving problem financing in Islamic banks and finally being able to provide information to all parties, especially Islamic bank practitioners, about ways or strategies for handling and also solving problem financing

Living Qur'an Study on the Local Wisdom of the Pesantren Community Regarding the Rokat Sabe Tradition

    Get PDF
The Qur’an, as a guide for every Muslim, is understood as a sentiment that is able to manifest the cultural behavior of society. In one study, understanding and meaning between the Al-Qur’an and life is called “living Qur’an”. This living Qur’an research discusses the use of Surah Al-Qadr as a talisman in farming in the rokat sabe tradition of the Dawuhan community, Probolinggo, which aims to describe how society emulates the function of the Al-Qur’an in everyday life. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive-analytical inductive patterns. The research results show that this tradition is a tradition left by previous ancestors. In this tradition, people believe that Surah Al-Qadr is a reading that can bring glory and prosperity and can fertilize plants, based on Surah Al-Qadr, which means “glory”. This is consistent with Quraish Sihab’s argument in Tafsir Al-Misbah, which explains that the Al-Qur’an is noble; it was revealed to a nobleman (the prophet Muhammad), and its glory increased by being revealed on a noble night, too. Apart from that, local people are also famous for the term “santri nderek Kiai” because they have a santri spirit and are very obedient to kiai, who are considered religious figures and local regional leaders. This is proven by the existence of several religious rituals in the Rokat Sabe tradition, namely making the Surah Al-Qadr as a talisman for farming

This article aims to provide an in-depth understanding of Nahdlatul Ulama figures and their influence on the phenomenon of saweran (giving money or gifts) to Qori'ah (Qur'an reciters) in various religious events. The article aims to convey the views of Islamic scholars regarding the legal, ethical, and social impact aspects of this practice, as well as provide a perspective that can provide solutions to the problems that occur. Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is one of Indonesia's most prominent Islamic organizations, which significantly influences the development of Islam in Indonesia. The data was collected qualitatively by looking at primary sources of Nahdlatul Ulama media, including websites, applications, social media, and secondary sources from other media that also reported on the views of Nahdlatul Ulama figures. The data taken is comprehensive, where the researcher tries to take all existing data objectively so that valid data processing is produced. The theory presented in this article comes from the books of classical and contemporary scholars related to the discussion. The results of this study indicate that the views of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) leaders had succeeded in becoming a warning and advice for the people of Indonesia to abandon the saweran tradition against Qori'ah because it is not by social norms and violates the manners and ethics in Islam when recited the holy verses of the Qur'an
