PERSEPSI MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN SOSIOLOGI TERHADAP URGENSI LITERASI SOSIAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN KRITIS MAHASISWA SEBAGAI GENERASI MUDA [STUDENTS’ PERCEPTIONS OF THE URGENCY OF SOCIAL LITERACY IN ENHANCING CRITICAL AWARENESS AMONG SOCIOLOGY EDUCATION STUDENTS AS YOUNG ADULTS]
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan memperjelas pentingnya penguatan literasi sosial dalam membentuk kesadaran kritis mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi Universitas Negeri Makassar. Melalui pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang literasi sosial, penelitian ini bertujuan mendorong mahasiswa agar mampu mengaitkan teori sosiologi dengan realitas sosial, menilai fenomena masyarakat secara objektif, serta meningkatkan kemampuan analitis mereka terhadap isu-isu kontemporer seperti intoleransi, ketimpangan, dan misinformasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan menggambarkan secara mendalam persepsi mahasiswa mengenai urgensi literasi sosial dalam membentuk kesadaran kritis. Pendekatan fenomenologis diterapkan untuk memahami pengalaman subjektif mahasiswa dalam memaknai literasi sosial dan perannya dalam pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis, yang tidak dapat diukur secara numerik tetapi dipahami melalui eksplorasi makna dari pengalaman belajar, interaksi sosial, dan pemahaman terhadap fenomena sosial di lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum, Universitas Negeri Makassar, yang menyediakan konteks akademik yang relevan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara teori sosiologi, dinamika sosial, dan literasi sosial. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai persepsi mahasiswa terhadap literasi sosial sebagai fondasi penting dalam membentuk kesadaran kritis mereka sebagai generasi muda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi Universitas Negeri Makassar memiliki pemahaman yang baik mengenai pentingnya literasi sosial sebagai kemampuan untuk membaca, menafsirkan, dan mengevaluasi fenomena sosial secara kritis, termasuk kesadaran terhadap keberagaman, bias, dan ketidakadilan sosial. Namun, terdapat kesenjangan antara pemahaman konseptual dan praktik literasi sosial, karena penerapan dalam kehidupan akademik maupun sehari-hari belum konsisten. Faktor-faktor seperti keterbatasan model pembelajaran yang aplikatif, minimnya motivasi pribadi, dan kurangnya pengalaman sosial langsung menjadi penghambat internalisasi literasi sosial. Oleh karena itu, penguatan literasi sosial perlu diwujudkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, analisis kasus nyata, diskusi kritis, serta keterlibatan dalam kegiatan sosial, sehingga mahasiswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan analitis sekaligus membentuk komitmen moral sebagai agen perubahan sosial
APLIKASI SENDAI FRAMEWORK FOR DISASTER RISK REDUCTION DALAM TANGGAP DARURAT BENCANA [APPLICATION OF SENDAI FRAMEWORK FOR DISASTER RISK REDUCTION IN EMERGENCY DISASTER RESPONSE]
This study aims to determine: the definition of emergency response in disaster, Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction as an International Agreement, Implementation of Sendai Framework at National and Local Levels, Role of stakeholders in the implementation of Sendai Framework, and Contribution of Sendai Framework to Sustainable Development. This research uses the literature study method. The findings of this study are that performance evaluation has forms such as aiming to find out how to implement the Sendai Framework in disaster emergency response. In addition, the goal of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction in the context of disaster emergency response is to reduce the risks and impacts of disasters through a more integrated and comprehensive approach. In this process, it emphasizes the importance of disaster risk management as a top priority, not just a response to disasters after they occur
FACTORS RELATED TO SELF-EFFICACY AND ACADEMIC PROCRASTINATION AMONG FINAL-YEAR STUDENTS AFTER DISTANCE LEARNING
Post-distance learning final year students have more challenges than ever before. This study aims to analyze: 1) the characteristics of final year students, 2) the level of self-efficacy and academic procrastination of students, and 3) the factors associated with self-efficacy and academic procrastination of post-distance learning students. This research approach is quantitative with survey method. Respondents were 97 students at the Islamic college. Data were collected using an online questionnaire. The results showed that: 1) the characteristics of respondents are generation Z groups (digital natives), are preparing a thesis and almost half of the respondents only focus on activities to complete their studies, 2) the level of self-efficacy and academic procrastination of respondents is moderate tends to be high, and 3) factors related to self-efficacy are age, amount of pocket money and information literacy, while factors related to academic procrastination are age and duration of internet access. Therefore, students need to increase self-efficacy and reduce procrastination in completing the thesis
ANALISIS KEBIJAKAN PUBLIK DALAM PENGENDALIAN PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN: PENDEKATAN HUKUM DAN ALTERNATIF SOLUSI DI KOTA PADANG
Environmental pollution is a serious issue faced by Padang City, negatively impacting public health and ecosystems. This article analyzes the public policies implemented for environmental pollution control, emphasizing the legal approaches employed by local government. Through this study, various existing regulations and their effectiveness in reducing pollution levels are identified. Additionally, the article explores alternative solutions that involve community participation, environmentally friendly technologies, and cross-sector collaboration. The analysis results indicate that, despite having an adequate legal framework, challenges in implementation and public awareness remain significant obstacles. Therefore, stronger collaborative efforts between the government, community, and private sector are necessary to achieve more effective pollution control in Padang City
EVALUASI KEBERLANJUTAN PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH KOTA PADANG: PENDEKATAN BERBASIS KEBIJAKAN PUBLIK MELALUI ANALISIS MDS-RAPFISH
This study aims to evaluate the sustainability of waste management in Padang City through a public policy-oriented approach using the Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) method with a modified RAPFISH (Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries) framework. The evaluation covers five key dimensions of sustainability: economic, environmental, social, technological and infrastructure, and institutional. Primary data were collected through interviews with key informants, while secondary data were obtained from policy documents and relevant literature. The results indicate that all five dimensions fall into the "less sustainable" category, with an average sustainability index score of 35.78. The technology and infrastructure dimension recorded the lowest score (18.53), highlighting the urgent need for policy interventions in this area. Leverage and Monte Carlo analyses identified the most sensitive attributes affecting sustainability, namely waste transportation infrastructure and the safety and comfort of waste management facilities. These findings provide a critical foundation for the formulation of systemic, integrative, and evidence-based public policies to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of waste management in Padang City
TANTANGAN IMPLEMENTASI SIMRS DARI PERSPEKTIF TENAGA KESEHATAN: STUDI KUALITATIF DI RUMAH SAKIT DAERAH [CHALLENGES OF SIMRS IMPLEMENTATION FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF HEALTH PERSONNEL: A QUALITATIVE STUDY IN A REGIONAL HOSPITAL]
The digitalization of health information systems has become a vital component in healthcare service reform in many countries, including Indonesia. One concrete form of this transformation is the implementation of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS), which aims to integrate all administrative, management, and clinical service processes electronically. The implementation of SIMRS is considered a strategic step in improving efficiency, service quality, and accountability in hospital data management (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2020). However, in reality, regional hospitals face more complex challenges compared to central or private hospitals. These challenges include limited budget allocation for IT infrastructure, a lack of reliable IT personnel, and unequal access to stable internet networks (Putri Harjo, 2022). These various obstacles not only hinder the effective implementation of SIMRS but also potentially degrade the quality of patient care if the system does not function optimally. This study aims to explore in depth the perspectives of healthcare workers on the challenges of SIMRS implementation in regional hospitals. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study analyzes the experiences, perceptions, and obstacles faced by hospital staff in the daily use of SIMRS. The research object is a Regional Public Hospital (RSUD), with research subjects consisting of hospital staff directly involved in the SIMRS implementation process. Data collection techniques included observation and interviews. The findings conclude that the main challenges in SIMRS implementation in regional hospitals include user competence, infrastructure support, and organizational readiness. Many healthcare workers are not yet technically or mentally prepared due to limited training, additional workloads, and systems that do not meet the needs of specific work units (Wibowo et al., 2022). Equipment limitations, unstable internet connections, and dependence on technicians worsen the situation. Data security issues are also a concern, as SIMRS stores sensitive medical information (Setiawan Nugroho, 2021). System disruptions that force manual work reduce efficiency and increase the risk of errors. Therefore, ongoing practical training, infrastructure modernization, more user-friendly systems, and involving healthcare workers in evaluations are necessary to ensure SIMRS can be implemented optimally and contextually (Rahmawati et al., 2023)
KEPEMIMPINAN PENDIDIKAN TRANSFORMASIONAL DAN PARTISIPATIF: MEMBANGUN BUDAYA INKLUSIF DAN INOVATIF
This study aims to examine the practices of transformational, participatory, and digital leadership within the context of primary schools in the digital era, using a case study at SD Islam Al Ilmu Bekasi. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with the school principal and the vice principal of curriculum affairs. The findings reveal that the integration of these three leadership approaches fosters an inclusive, collaborative, and technologically adaptive school culture. Transformational leadership is manifested through individual empowerment and the inspiration of a shared vision, while participatory leadership facilitates collective decision-making and teacher innovation. Meanwhile, digital leadership enhances management efficiency through the optimization of technologies such as DAPODIK and online platforms. This study contributes conceptually to 21st-century educational leadership models and underscores the importance of collaboration, humanistic values, and technological adaptation in the sustainable management of educational institutions
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING USING EXPRESSION CARDS TO CHANGE THE PERSONALITY OF AN INTROVERT INDIVIDUAL STUDENT INTO AN EXTROVERT
This study aims to understand in depth how expression cards can help introverted physically disabled students develop their self-expression and social interaction skills during individual counseling sessions. The study specifically explores the experiences, perceptions, and changes felt by physically disabled students during the counseling process using expression cards. The scope of this study includes exploring the process of interaction between physically disabled students and expression cards, dynamics during counseling sessions, and changes felt in the context of students' social and emotional relationships. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with physically disabled students and counselors, participant observation during counseling sessions, and reflective analysis of student narratives. Data analysis was carried out thematically to find patterns and meanings from students' experiences. The results showed that expression cards provide space for introverted physically disabled students to express their feelings indirectly, thus helping them feel more comfortable in communicating. Physically disabled students reported that expression cards made it easier for them to understand and convey emotions that were difficult to express verbally. In addition, individual counseling sessions with this tool created an environment that supported students' social interactions with classmates. It is concluded that expression cards are effective as a counseling tool to help introvert students develop social and emotional skills. The interaction process facilitated by these cards has a positive impact on students' openness and self-confidence in interacting. This study recommends the development of similar media that are more adaptive to the needs of individuals with disabilities to support successful counseling
EFEK INTERVENSI PSIKOLOGI DALAM BENTUK KONSELING INDIVIDU UNTUK MENGURANGI STRES PADA SISWA DI SEKOLAH XYZ
Stres akademik merupakan salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh siswa di lingkungan sekolah, terutama dalam menghadapi tekanan akademik yang tinggi. Jika tidak ditangani dengan baik, stres dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis dan prestasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi psikologis yang efektif untuk membantu siswa mengelola stres dengan lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas intervensi psikologis dalam bentuk konseling individu dalam mengurangi tingkat stres pada siswa Sekolah XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa yang mengalami tingkat stres akademik tinggi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan psikotes menggunakan Sacks Sentence Completion Test (SSCT) Data yang sudah dikumpulkan akan dianalisis dengan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling individu memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam membantu siswa mengidentifikasi sumber stres, mengembangkan strategi koping yang efektif, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Setelah mendapatkan intervensi, siswa melaporkan penurunan tingkat stres yang signifikan, peningkatan rasa percaya diri, serta kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam menghadapi tekanan akademik
INTEGRASI ANALISIS MDS-RAPFISH DALAM PERENCANAAN KEBIJAKAN PENGURANGAN RISIKO BANJIR DI DAS KURANJI [INTEGRATION OF MDS-RAPFISH ANALYSIS IN POLICY FORMULATION FOR FLOOD RISK REDUCTION IN THE KURANJI WATERSHED]
This study aims to integrate the results of sustainability analysis using the Multidimensional Scaling–RAPFISH approach into the policy planning process for flood risk reduction in the Kuranji Watershed, Padang City. Five strategic dimensions—economic, environmental, social, infrastructure, and institutional—were analyzed to provide a holistic view of sustainability. Primary data were collected through interviews and questionnaires with stakeholders, while secondary data came from planning documents and policies. The analysis revealed that four of the five dimensions are in the less sustainable category, with index scores ranging from 37.69 to 42.22. Only the institutional dimension was considered moderately sustainable, with a score of 51.77. The average sustainability index across all dimensions was 41.99, indicating an overall status of low sustainability. Leverage and Monte Carlo analyses were used to identify the most influential attributes. The infrastructure dimension had the lowest index, largely affected by the availability of evacuation routes, early warning systems, and emergency logistics. The RAPFISH model demonstrated strong validity and reliability, supported by stress values below 0.15 and R² values near 1. Monte Carlo simulations showed minimal differences, confirming model robustness. These findings suggest that MDS-RAPFISH is a valuable tool for evidence-based policy planning, enabling prioritization of interventions and formulation of adaptive, integrated strategies. This approach can help policymakers identify critical leverage points and design flood risk reduction policies that address the socio-environmental complexities of the Kuranji Watershed, while contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
