The research method uses qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. This research was conducted on four students at MAN 2 Cilegon who experienced a decrease in learning motivation. The results showed that by optimizing time management through group guidance, it could increase the learning motivation of the respondents (students)

No full textThe ability of students to learn cannot be separated from the influence of motivation, both internally and externally, especially when the learning system is carried out online, so that it does not rule out the possibility of an impact on a decrease in students' learning motivation, so as a counseling guidance teacher has an important role in increasing students’ learning motivation. The purpose of this study is to increase student learning motivation through virtual during the COVID-19 at SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type, which describes the results of research from sources through written words. Data collection techniques were carried out through document studies and interviews. Data analysis uses the form of analysis from Miles and Huberman in the form of data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. In the implementation of individual counseling there are several stages carried out by guidance and counseling teachers in increasing student motivation, including; stage of problem identification, prognosis, diagnosis, evaluation and follow-up. On the other hand, there are four principles that are used as a reference by guidance and counseling teachers in implementing counseling services, namely the level of responsiveness to counselee problems, providing understanding related to the importance of learning motivation, directions on how to determine planning and interests related to learning motivation, and strengthening system support. After these stages are carried out according to the procedures in counseling services, the results of the study show that virtual can increase student learning motivation

No full textAdolescence is a period of transition between children and adults, at this time teenagers are also known as periods of difficulty. The current era of technology has received a lot of attention from the wider community, one of which is the problem of online games. This research is motivated by the existence of very rapid technological developments that cause students to experience changes in social behavior. The basic purpose of this study is to explain the positive and negative impacts of online games on the social behavior of students at SMP Negeri 1 Puncak Sorik Marapi. The research method used is a qualitative method. The approach used by the researcher is a phenomenological approach. This study will focus on the impact of online games on students' social behavior. The results of this study are the negative impact of students who are considered addicted to online games, of course, very diverse including students sometimes speak impolite and polite, some students also forget time for school because of the fun of playing, students also often spend time playing games at school, stealing time. during study hours so that it has an impact on social change which often forgets the surrounding environment, while the positive impact of online games on the social behavior of SMP Negeri 1 Puncak Sorik Marapi students is in the form of adding relationships, means of refreshing, collaborating, and students can express their emotions through playing online games

No full textGuidance and counseling is a place to improve certain objects, namely humans who have problems with themselves. There are two objects that exist in guidance and counseling, namely, a counselor and counselee. The simple explanation is that the counselor is an expert who handles problems that are being experienced by the counselee or client, while the counselee is someone who needs therapy for his problems and is also known as the client. The purpose of this study is to discuss humanistic therapy in an existential perspective and Islamic counseling. The research carried out in writing this article uses the library research method, the research process carried out by collecting various data collection literature and information related to the themes taken in this study. Documents used as a source of research data by using some scientific literature in the form of books, journals and websites that support it. Existential in humanism is something that is very close to even related to existing Islamic values, in existentialism it assumes that a person has the right to act and make any decisions, this is also in accordance with existing Islamic values which assume that a person's personality has the rights of each, while Allah is the God who wills. The existence of knowledge about mental health can help a person to be able to run his life well, one of which is to make it easier for someone to socialize with their environment, for example having a good socialization attitude, that is, if there are new people, we will easily adapt ourselves, if there is a problem. What happens in our environment, we can contribute in addressing the existing problems, and if there is someone who humiliates or destroys us mentally, we can easily fortify ourselves

No full textThe formation of a perfect child’s personality is a task that is not easy for parents, especially if the parent is a single parent. Some female students at Ma’had Tahfidh Al-Qur'an Putri Al-Amien Prenduan have single parents so they have problems communicating with their surroundings. However, there are also female students who have single parents who have cheerful and friendly personalities. Therefore, this study aims to determine the personality characteristics of female students who are single parents and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in shaping the personality of female students who are single parents Ma’had Tahfidh Al-Qur'an Putri Al-Amien Prenduan. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate the personality characteristics of female students who are single parents at Ma’had Tahfidh Al-Qur'an Putri Al-Amien Prenduan, namely extroverted personality and introverted personality. Supporting factors in the formation of female students’ personality are internal and external factors, while the inhibiting factors in the formation of female students’ personality are biological factors, upbringing, and tension in the family

No full textAlong with the development of the times and science, there is also a method of interpretation derived from philosophy, namely hermeneutics. Hermeneutics as a new method in the interpretation of the Qur'an is expected to be able to reveal things that cannot be known through the old method of interpretation. This study aims to examine the various hermeneutical approaches in Islamic studies. The method used in this research is literature study. The results of this study conclude that hermeneutics can be interpreted as an interpretation method that pays attention to the context of words (from a text) and the cultural context of their thoughts. Hermeneutics is divided into three varieties, namely the theory of hermeneutics which focuses its discussion on methodology, philosophy of hermeneutics whose focus is on tracing the ontological status of efforts to understand (understanding), and critical hermeneutics which emphasizes its language concerning efforts to uncover the causes of distortions in understanding. The hermeneutic method is considered to have a characteristic, namely the development of the contextualization value of a text to be studied. Hermeneutics in Islamic studies through the interpretation of the Qur’an finds a match between the verses of the Qur’an and science, which also shows the miracles of the Qur’an and its glory

No full textThis research is motivated because the condition of Indonesia as a country that is rich in culture, of course, results in different patterns of life in society, so it is necessary to have a facilitator who can facilitate the unrest of the community. Therefore, this study aims to determine the role of interfaith and cultural counselors as problem solving in a multicultural society. This research uses a literature study approach. Sources of data that will be used as material for this research are books, journals, and internet sites related to the chosen topic. In this study, after the data was collected, the data was analyzed to get a conclusion. The results of this study are that religious and cultural sensitive counselors are counselors who must have awareness in knowing their own culture in all respects. Therefore, it is understood that what can influence the mindset, actions and feelings of a counselee can come from every culture. A counselor must be able to find the right approach or according to the characteristics of the counselee and should not force the counselee to follow the cultural values that the counselor wants. Therefore, the role of the counselor must really understand the characteristics of the counselee in terms of religion and culture

No full textThis paper is motivated by observational data which shows that there are the physically disabled person who have a very high sense of low self-esteem even though they have been given counseling by the Forum Bangun Aceh. The causes of the unsuccessful counseling process can be analyzed using Adlerian Counseling. The process of good self-acceptance can be seen in the individual's ability when adapting to the environment so that it can provide a sense of self-satisfaction. If the environment rejects its presence, the individual will experience a setback and increase a sense of inferiority. Therefore, this writing aims: (1) toanalyze the process of self-acceptance of the physically disabled person by the Forum Bangun Aceh; (2) to analyze what factors are behind the success and failure of the counseling process for the disabled assisted by the Forum Bangun Aceh; and (3) to analyze the implications or impacts of the Adlerian Counseling analysis on the physically disabled person fostered by the Forum Bangun Aceh.The writing uses qualitative methods, interviews and observations. The results of this paper indicate Forum Bangun Aceh can be a facilitator to that physically disabled can develop their potential. The development of physically disabled self is hampered because they have low self-esteem, are not sure of themselves and feel doubt that their abilities will be accepted in a socoal environment. In the prosess of self-acceptance, the physically disabled should be with themselves as a disability and change the attitude of inferiority to superiority. The low self-esteem described in Adler’s theory is a psychological obstacle that usually occurs since puberty for various reasons and conditions. Self-acceptance for people with disabilities is very important in facing the reality of their own condition by minimizing a sense of inferiority to generate a sense of optimism, enthusiasm, self-understanding, and belief in their potential to move forward in carrying out their lives
