The biological data of the squid were used to get essential approach in managing their resources. The squids, Urotheutis (Photololigo) chinensis, were collected in November 2021. Get PDFThis report is a part of an online regional training course on Fish Handling Techniques Onboard Fishing Vessels organized through the Zoom platform under the situation of the Corona Virus-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in the Southeast Asian region and all over the world.
This online training course was envisaged to gather and update information on capabilities to transfer the knowledge gained from the training program. It could be ways forward for improving, raising awareness of the optimal utilization of fish and fishery products. It is noted that this training will be undertaken online. Participants of the online training course come from those relevant working experiences and related fish handling and capabilities to expected that transfer the knowledge gained from the training program to SEAFDEC Member Countries. The online training was sponsored by the Japanese Trust Fund 6, Phase II. There were 3 sessions at the online training: (1) Literature reviews (2) Online demonstration (3) Discussion/evaluation. The main objectives of the meeting are to discuss the 3rd Budget Revision as of 30 September 2021 and finalize the costed work plans for 2022. In addition, the project steering committee will finalize the audit firms for the financial statement audit for 2021 and 2022. Twenty participants from 6 participating countries, including SEAFDEC senior officers, and the PCU staff, attended the meeting.UNEP/GE
