    KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL OPERASI HIMPUNAN

    This study aims to describe critical thinking skills, identify factors that affect critical thinking skills and recommend follow-up plans to overcome students' low critical thinking ability to complete class VII set operations problems at Waingapu City Junior High School. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection uses tests, interviews and documentation studies. The subjects in the study were 30 students of class VII junior high school in Waingapu City. The results found that the average critical thinking ability of students was 37.29 and was in the low category. There are several factors that affect students' critical thinking skills, including lack of relearning of the material that has been obtained, mastery of mathematical concepts, learning interests and students' thoroughness in working on problems. The recommendations of actions taken by teachers are reviewing the basic concepts of mathematics, designing learning devices and training students to work on story problems and learning motivation

    The purpose of this research is to create an android-based application that can help students to more easily understand material related to flat shapes. Students are expected to be able to maximize the use of smartphones as a support for learning activities carried out. The method used in this research is research and development (RnD) with the ADDIE approach. There are two stages of adaptation carried out in this research, namely analysis of needs and analysis of curriculum. The media step is design, which is to design with the help of paint and make a storyboard of the application as well as a flowchart of the proposed running system. The third step is the development stage by entering data in android studio as software used in application development. The next step, namely implementation and evaluation, has not yet been carried out because currently research activities are still in the application development stage. The results of this research are in the form of application development that has been made by displaying several screen displays that will appear on Android. Currently, research activities are still in the validation stage by material and instructional media design experts

    Indonesia is one of the countries that has an impact on the occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Aspects of life are also disrupted because this has no impact on the education aspect.. As a result, learning in schools, which were usually done offline, is now being done online. However, since July 2021 through a decree from the Minister of Education and Culture, limited face-to-face learning (PTM) has been implemented. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of contextual-based limited face-to-face learning on Biology learning on the learning outcomes of students in class X IPA MA Pest Al Qamar. This research uses ex post facto research. Data collection techniques using questionnaires to see the implementation of contextual-based face-to-face learning and documentation to see student learning outcomes. The results obtained are the implementation of contextual-based limited face-to-face learning has been carried out very well with an average score of 3.69, and student learning outcomes are in the good category with an average score of 3.14. The results of statistical correlation analysis obtained the value of r2 of 0.446 or 44.6%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is an effect of implementing contextual-based limited face-to-face learning with biology learning outcomes for Class X IPA MA Pest Al Qamar

    ANALISIS KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN BIOLOGI PADA KEGIATAN PRAKTIKUM MIKROBIOLOGI

    This research is a type of qualitative research, aiming to assess the level of science process skills possessed by students majoring in biology education at the Higher Education Teacher Training Institute, Turatea Jeneponto College Foundation. The research method used is observation of the implementation of microbiology practicum activities carried out by Biology Education Department Students for the 2020/2021 Academic Year as many as 17 students using microbiology practicum guides based on science process skills that have been developed previously and assessment of practicum reports by each practitioner as well as scientific process skill observation sheet that has been validated. The analysis technique used includes the data collection stage using an assessment format for student trainees which contains 8 skill items, namely observing, classifying, interpreting, predicting, asking questions, conducting experiments, hypotheses and communicating experimental results. The next stage is data reduction, data display using descriptive statistics in the form of tables, triangulation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study provide an illustration that in the implementation of microbiology practicum activities, science process skills students of the Department of Biology Education, Higher Education Teacher Training Institute, Turatea Jeneponto College Foundation, on average, show a sufficient category with an average score of 52.50

    Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan tentang (1) hakikat pragmatik; (2) tindak tutur; (3) konteks; dan (4) konsep muka dalam pragmatik. Data penulisan ini merupakan data kepustakaan dan dianalisis dengan teknik kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, pertama, pragmatik merupakan kajian tentang makna kontekstual. Artinya, pragmatik merupakan studi tentang bagaimana agar lebih banyak yang disampaikan daripada yang dituturkan. Kedua, salah satu konsep dan teori penting dari pragmatik adalah teori tindak tutur.  Ketiga, pragmatik mempertimbangkan konteks tuturan; dan Keempat, pragmatik mengkaji ungkapan dari jarak hubungan.     Online learning is internet-assisted learning without direct face-to-face. Online learning has several weaknesses, including limited internet quota, children who are not comfortable studying at home, time constraints for parents in accompanying children to study, and so on that causes children not to focus on learning. Parents play an important role, especially in terms of providing understanding to their children regarding the covid-19 outbreak, staying at home, and accompanying their children in learning. Like the people in Kedungwaru Village, many parents feel overwhelmed by accompanying their children to study at home. Obstacles faced include parents having to rack their brains to divide their time between working and accompanying their children to study, parents' lack of understanding of children's learning materials, and limited internet quota. Therefore, this Community Service (PkM) aims to help children in Kedungwaru village by assisting children in learning by using online and offline learning media. The method of implementing the activities includes the preparation stage (initial survey and problem identification), implementation stage (socialization and assistance in utilizing online and offline learning media for 8 elementary school students and 2 junior high school students in Kedungwaru Tulungagung village), program evaluation stage, and finally reporting. The results obtained in this activity, the community in Kedungwaru village, elementary and junior high school students were helped in understanding the material taught by the teacher online. The use of online and offline learning media increases enthusiasm for learning because by using the media, they can immediately practice practicum-based learning activities, such as the use of caliper, screw micrometer, and the process of blowing balloons using baking soda and vinegar. The follow-up plan for this activity is the continuation of PkM activities in the following year

    Mengelola Bisnis Melalui Pemasaran Holistik dan Syariah pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19

    The Covid-19 pandemic has had a tremendous impact on many sectors of the domestic economy, especially in the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) sector. According to the BI report that MSME exporters are the most affected, which is around 95.4% of the total exporters, then the handicraft and tourism supporting sectors are affected by 89.9%. Meanwhile, the smallest sector affected by the Covid-19 pandemic is the agricultural sector, which is 41.5%. From the entrepreneur side, research data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs reported that MSMEs consisting of wholesalers and retailers experienced the highest impact of the Covid-19 pandemic (40.92%), followed by MSMEs providing accommodation and food and beverages (26.86%) and the smallest sector is the manufacturing sector at 14.25%. Although MSMEs have a lower impact than large entrepreneurs due to Covid-19, MSMEs as business institutions that play a very important role in improving the economy and making a sizeable contribution to the economic development of the people are still affected by Covid-19. On the other hand, MSMEs have many problems, apart from capital, marketing is one of the problems faced by MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Understanding marketing concepts both holistically and sharia concepts is important for MSMEs to get out of marketing problems during this Covid-19 pandemic. Holistic Marketing is marketing that prioritizes and considers the entire business entity. Where the holistic marketing concept is based on the development, design and implementation of marketing activities, processes and programs that understand the breadth and interrelationships. As for the holistic marketing concept: Relationship, Integrated, Internal, and Performance. Meanwhile, sharia marketing is marketing that is carried out based on sharia principles and contracts. In addition, according to characteristics of Islamic marketing that must be owned by the marketing team are Rabbaniyyah, Akhlaqiyyah, Al-waqiyyah and Insaniyyah

    The Community Service Program (Penmas) aims to improve students' abilities in creative writing, improve students' literary writing skills, and improve literary publications. This community service is carried out through training and assistance with a participant active learning approach. the activity is carried out through three core stages, namely strengthening students in making creative works, training and mentoring in creative literary writing, and assistance in publishing works. The training participants were 40 students of MTS Ulumiyah Tuban. The students are enthusiastic about doing the creative literary writing training. Program Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (Penmas) yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam hal menulis kreatif, meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis sastra, dan meningkatkan kemampuan publikasi karya sastra. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan pendekatan participant active learning. kegiatan dilakukan melalui tiga tahap inti, yakni penguatan siswa dalam pembuatan karya kreatif, pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam penulisan sastra kreatif, serta pendampingan dalam publikasi karya.     PENINGKATAN DISIPLIN GURU DALAM KEHADIRAN MENGAJAR DI KELAS MELALUI KETELADANAN OLEH KEPALA SEKOLAH

    The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in teacher discipline in teaching attendance in the classroom through the example of the principal. The type of research used is school action research (PTS). The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were the teachers of SDK Santa Theresia Ende 3 totaling 29 people consisting of 26 female teachers and 3 male teachers. Data collection techniques used are observation, observation, and interviews. The research instrument is an assessment scale, observation sheet/observation, and a questionnaire. An indicator of the success of implementing this action is if 75% of teachers in the learning process are not late in teaching class. The results showed that the principal's example of giving warnings in the form of verbal and written reprimands for teachers who were late for class could improve teacher discipline in teaching attendance in the course. This is indicated by the results of research in cycle 1 that the teacher's lateness in class 10 minutes to 15 minutes in the learning process is still high, namely 13 people or 44.83%, and teacher delays in class more than 15 minutes as many as 10 people or 34.48%. Then decreased to 3 teachers who were late for class 10 minutes to 15 minutes, and no more teachers were late for more than 15 minutes

    THE USE OF NUMBER HEAD TOGETHER IN TEACHING SPEAKING AT SMPN 3 POSO

    Cooperative learning with numbered head together strategy is interest because the teacher can control the group also each member of group. The objective of this study is to find out the implementation of cooperative learning with Numbered Head Together strategy in teaching speaking at Grade VII of SMPN 3 Poso. The type of the research was a qualitative research. The finding of research obtained that the implementation of  Numbered head together strategy itself: first, teacher explained the material to the students. Second, teacher divided the students in to groups and gave serial number of groups. Third, students sat with the member of group and discussed and answered the task or questions. Fourth, the English teacher called one number from each group to answer or to do the task in front of the class, and the last, the other member gave support to their friends who answered or did the task. Students highest score was 93,3 and the lowest scored was 53,3. Most of the student score category was good
