    كفاءة مدرسي اللغة العربية في المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية مدينة سونجي بينوه جامبي في فهم خصائص الطلاب

    خلاصة: يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد واستكشاف الكفاءة التربوية لمدرسي اللغة العربية في المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية مدينة سونجي بينوه جامبي في فهم خصائص الطلاب. الطريقة المستخدمة في هذا البحث هي طريقة دراسة الحالة النوعية. نتائج هذا البحث هي حقق مدرسي اللغة العربية في المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية مدينة سونجي بينوه من 5 مؤشرات لفهم خصائص الطلاب، وهي فهم المدرس للخلفية المدرسية للطلاب، وفهم المدرس للظروف الاجتماعية للطلاب، وفهم المدرس للخلفية الأسرية للطلاب، وفهم المدرس لرغبة التعليم للطلاب، فهم المدرس لصعوبات تعليم الطلاب. وبالتالي، يمكن تصنيف مدرسي اللغة العربية في المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية مدينة سونجي بينوه كمدرس تملك كفاءة التربوية في فهم خصائص الطلاب. الكلمات الدالة: الكفاءة، التربوية، مدرس   Abstract: This study aims to identify and explore how the pedagogical competence of Arabic language teachers at Islamic Junior high school Sungai Penuh city Jambi in understanding student characteristics, the method used in this study is a qualitative case study method. The results of this study are that Arabic language teachers at Islamic Junior high school Sungai Penuh City have met 5 indicators of understanding student characteristics, namely teacher understanding of student school background, teacher understanding of student social conditions, teacher understanding of student family background, teacher understanding of student learning interests, teacher understanding of student learning difficulties. So that Arabic language teachers at Islamic Junior high school Sungai Penuh City can be stated as teachers who have pedagogical competence in understanding student characteristics. Keywords : Competence, pedagogical, teacher   Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendalami bagaimana kompetensi pedagogic guru bahasa arab di mtsn sungai penuh jambi dalam memahami karakteristik siswa, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif studi kasus. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Guru bahasa arab di MTsN  kota sungai penuh telah memenuhi 5 indikator dari pemahaman karakteristik siswa yaitu  pemahaman guru terhadap latar belakang sekolah siswa, pemahaman guru terhadap keadaan sosial siswa, pemahaman guru terhadap latar belakang keluarga siswa, pemahaman guru terhadap minat belajar siswa, pemahaman guru terhadap kesulitan-kesulitan belajar siswa. Sehingga Guru bahasa arab di MTsN  kota sungai penuh dapat dinyatakan sebagai guru yang mempunyai kompetensi peagogik dalam memahami karakteristik siswa. Kata kunci : Kompetensi, Pedagogik, Gur

    BETWEEN FAITH AND FREEDOM: The Qur’an and the Childfree Lifestyle

    This article deals with the childfree lifestyle through the lens of the Qur’an, a topic that has recently become controversial in Indonesia. Public opinion is divided: supporters argue that choosing not to have children is a matter of personal freedom, while opponents claim it contradicts social and religious expectations that married couples should try to have offspring. Using Gadamer’s hermeneutical perspective alongside Qur’anic interpretation, the article highlights several verses that encourage procreation—such as calls to increase descendants, praise for having noble offspring, and descriptions of children as a source of reward in the afterlife. These verses suggest that Islam generally discourages couples from intentionally avoiding children. However, the study also emphasizes that Qur’anic meaning is dynamic and must continually engage with contemporary realities, including the childfree trend. In this light, the childfree choice is explicitly forbidden but may be considered acceptable when supported by reasonable motives and when it contributes to personal or social benefit. This approach allows Islamic teachings on family and lineage to be understood in dialogue with contemporary realities

    CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR LITERACY AND TECHNOLOGY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

    This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities in integrating literacy and technology in English Language Teaching (ELT) among English teachers within the English Teachers’ Community (MGMP Bahasa Inggris) in Trenggalek. The main objective is to investigate teachers' perspectives on literacy and its integration with digital tools in ELT. This review includes studies focused on literacy and technology integration in English education, particularly those involving teacher experiences in classroom settings, while excluding research unrelated to technology use or ELT practices. Sources were gathered from ERIC, Google Scholar, and Scopus, with the final search conducted in October 2024. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of the issue. The risk of bias was assessed using methodological quality indicators and participant selection criteria. Thematic synthesis was used to analyze results across studies. The findings reveal that traditional literacy approaches—emphasizing reading and writing—remain dominant; however, there is growing recognition of the need to broaden literacy to include speaking, listening, problem-solving, and digital proficiency. Teachers reported using digital tools such as Google Classroom, Edmodo, Google Forms, WhatsApp, Duolingo, and various AI-based applications to support instruction. These tools present both challenges and opportunities. Challenges include concerns about declining writing skills due to digital communication habits and the complexity of integrating technology effectively into literacy instruction. Opportunities arise from technology’s potential to enhance student engagement, creativity, and expression by offering diverse methods for demonstrating understanding. The study concludes that literacy education must adapt to technological advancements, and educators need flexible strategies to foster comprehensive literacy skills aligned with contemporary demands. This adaptation requires ongoing professional development and supportive systems to ensure effective technology integration in ELT

    PENGGUNAAN METODE SPACED REPETITION DALAM PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS KARAKTER BAHASA MANDARIN

    This study aims to obtain data on the improvement of Mandarin character writing skills of students using the spaced repetition method. The subjects of this study were 29 students from the 5th grade at Zion Elementary School GKKA-UP Makassar. This research is a classroom action study consisting of two cycles. The data in this study are of two types: qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data were obtained through observation, while quantitative data were obtained from writing skill tests in Cycle I and Cycle II. The results of the study showed that students' Mandarin character writing skills had an average score of 75 in Cycle I, categorized as fair, and improved in Cycle II with an average score of 85, categorized as good. These results indicate that the application of the spaced repetition method can improve the Mandarin character writing skills of 5th grade students at Zion Elementary School GKKA-UP Makassar

    PROBLEMATIKA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA PENUTUR ASING (BIPA) DI PTKIN SE-JAWA DAN MADURA

    The Indonesian Language Program for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) plays a strategic role in strengthening cultural diplomacy and promoting the internationalization of the Indonesian language. However, the implementation of BIPA programs at State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) across Java and Madura still faces various challenges, such as the absence of specific institutional policies, the lack of a standardized curriculum, limited supporting facilities, and teaching materials that do not meet the needs of foreign learners. This study aims to describe the problems of policy and program implementation at six PTKIN: UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, IAIN Kediri, IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, IAIN Madura, and UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldana’s interactive model. The findings indicate that BIPA program implementation remains suboptimal. Therefore, policy intervention, institutional strengthening, and the development of an integrative and needs-based BIPA learning model are urgently needed. &nbsp

    LIVING FIQH AS SOCIAL DYNAMICS: A STUDY OF THE ACTUALIZATION OF FIQH OF CIVILIZATION IN PONDOK PESANTREN DARUL ULUM, BANDUNG, TULUNGAGUNG.

    This study aims to examine the actualization of living fiqh of civilization in the dynamics of social religion in the Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Bandung, Tulungagung. This study departs from the awareness of the importance of transforming fiqh from normative discourse into adaptive and contextual social praxis, especially in the midst of increasingly complex social changes. Through a qualitative approach and case study method, this study explores in depth the values, practice patterns, and strategies for implementing fiqh of civilization in pesantren as a response to contemporary challenges. The results of the study show that Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School practices fiqh that is not only based on text, but also considers social reality with the maqashid shari’ah approach. The developed fiqh is moderate, inclusive, and solutive to various community problems, such as issues of social justice, health, environment, and cultural pluralism. Pesantren play a strategic role as value producers and agents of social transformation that make fiqh a dynamic guide to life. The implementation of living fiqh in this pesantren can be seen in the integration of a curriculum that is responsive to contemporary issues, the involvement of santri in community empowerment activities, and collective awareness of the importance of building an Islamic civilization that is rahmatan lil 'alamin. Thus, this research confirms that the living fiqh of civilization developed by Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is not only a renewal of Islamic thought, but also a concrete form of fiqh that lives in society and contributes significantly to equitable and sustainable social development

    The School Strategies in Implementing Anti-Bullying Education and Student Protection

    Purpose – This research explores the role of schools in implementing anti-bullying education and student protection at SDN 001 Rantau, Rokan Hilir. The phenomenon of bullying in the school environment, both verbal and non-verbal, often hurts students' mental health, sense of security, and learning motivation. Methods – This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews with the principal and teachers, direct observation, and students as the main informants, with documentation serving as supporting data. The results showed that the school had implemented various strategies, including the formation of a special team to prevent bullying. Findings – The results showed that the school had implemented various strategies, including the formation of a special team to prevent bullying. The implementation of anti-bullying programs through learning activities, and cooperation with external parties such as the health department and the police. In addition, the programs such as anti-bullying chants and claps, as well as the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), have proven effective in instilling positive values and creating an inclusive school culture. Limitations – This research is limited to literature studies and field data obtained from a single school context. Value – This study recommends strengthening anti-bullying policies through deeper curriculum integration, enhanced teacher training, and increased parental involvement to foster a safer and more supportive educational environment for students

    Revitalization of the Beramih Tradition in Nanga Bunut: Implementing Islamic Values in Local Culture

    Purpose – This study aims to examine the revitalization process of the beramih tradition in Nanga Bunut as an implementation of Islamic values within local culture. The beramih tradition, which reflects a spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperation (gotong royong), has been declining due to the influence of modernization and increasing individualism. To address this challenge, a revitalization strategy is needed—namely, the reactivation of cultural practices that are nearing extinction by adapting them to the current socio-religious context. Methods –This research employs a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, involving 12 informants consisting of community leaders, religious figures, and the younger generation. Findings – The results show that beramih is rich in Islamic values such as friendship (silaturahmi), solidarity, and social care, which strengthen the social cohesion of the community. Revitalization efforts are carried out through religion-based cultural education, youth involvement, and the active participation of traditional and religious leaders in redesigning beramih activities to be relevant to contemporary societal needs. Value – This study concludes that the revitalization of the beramih tradition not only preserves local cultural heritage but also reinforces the Islamic identity of the Nanga Bunut community amidst the currents of globalization

    Konsekuensi Hukum atas Kepemilikan Saham Pemda Sumbar di PT Bank Nagari

    Based on Article 399 paragraph (1) of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government jo Article 5 paragraph (1) of Government Regulation Number 54 of 2017 concerning Regionally Owned Enterprises states that one of the requirements for BUMD in the form of Perseroda is the existence of share ownership by one of the shareholder regions with a minimum percentage of 51% (fiftyone percent). As of December 31, 2023, the highest percentage of share ownership in PT Bank Nagari is owned by the West Sumatra Provincial Government, which is 32.51% (thirtytwo point fifty one percent). The percentage of shares owned by the West Sumatra Provincial Government as the Highest Shareholder still does not meet the provisions of the regulations that make the status of PT Bank Nagari as Perseroda. The difference in practice that occurs at PT Bank Nagari with the provisions of the laws and regulations needs to be studied.  This study discusses is the legal consequences if the percentage of share ownership is not fulfilled by the Regional Government of West Sumatra Province as the controlling shareholder in PT Bank Nagari as a Regional Company. The research method uses a Juridical-Normative problem approach, which is supported by empirical data. The conclusion of this study is the consequences of the unfulfilled share ownership are not regulated by any laws and regulations. However, even though there are no firm consequences, the status of PT Bank Nagari as a state-owned company in the form of Perseroda does not obtain legal certainty

    Peran Tokoh Masyarakat dalam Deteksi Dini Konflik Sosial untuk Penguatan Moderasi Beragama

    Keberagaman agama di Tulungagung kerap memunculkan gesekan antara organisasi Islam, kelompok minoritas, maupun komunitas penghayat kepercayaan, namun kajian tentang peran tokoh masyarakat dalam deteksi dini konflik masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran tokoh agama dalam mendeteksi potensi konflik sebagai bagian dari penguatan moderasi beragama di wilayah rawan konflik. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan berbasis komunitas, penelitian ini melibatkan penyuluh agama dan perwakilan organisasi kemasyarakatan dari empat kecamatan yang diidentifikasi Forum Kerukunan antar Umat Beragama (FKUB) sebagai rentan terhadap konflik dan penyebaran paham radikal. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan di lokasi yang memiliki sejarah ketegangan antar kelompok, kemudian diperdalam melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) untuk menggali strategi pencegahan konflik. Analisis tematik menunjukkan bahwa tokoh agama tidak hanya berperan sebagai mediator, tetapi juga sebagai inisiator mekanisme dialog yang memungkinkan kelompok berbeda terlibat dalam percakapan inklusif. Keterlibatan mereka terbukti mampu menurunkan ketegangan sosial, khususnya dengan mengubah forum-forum informal menjadi ruang pencegahan bagi munculnya perselisihan sebelum berkembang lebih jauh. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa sinergi antara tokoh agama, pemerintah daerah, dan organisasi masyarakat sipil membentuk sistem peringatan dini yang lebih kuat karena memadukan kearifan lokal dengan dukungan kelembagaan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa moderasi beragama di Tulungagung menjadi efektif ketika dioperasionalisasikan melalui praktik konkret deteksi dini konflik, sekaligus menawarkan model yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan keragaman serupa
