    Halal Product Assurance in Indonesia: A Comparative Study of Law No. 33/2014 and Qur’anic Verses Al-Māidah 88

    This study aims to examine the relevance of Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Assurance (the Halal Product Assurance Act) to the halal values contained in Qur’anic verse Al-Māidah 88 through a comparative analytical approach that assesses the alignment between Islamic principles and the implementation of positive law in Indonesia. The research employs a qualitative library research method, using primary sources consisting of Qur’anic verse Al-Māidah 88 and Law No. 33 of 2014, and applies content analysis to connect national legal provisions with the Qur’anic principles of halal and tayyib. The findings indicate that the Halal Product Assurance Act comprehensively reflects the principle of halālan ṭayyiban by providing legal certainty, protection, and quality assurance for Muslim consumers, ranging from ingredient procurement, production processes, storage, and distribution, to halal labeling. These results affirm the Act’s contribution to reinforcing the legal foundation and Islamic values within Indonesia’s halal product assurance framework. The study recommends strengthening the implementation of the Act through enhanced synergy among BPJPH, MUI, LPH, and halal auditors, as well as increasing outreach efforts to business actors and the public to foster greater awareness of the importance of consuming halal products

    Empowering Rural Futures: A Penta Helix Approach to Agricultural Development and Village Autonomy in Tana Tidung

    Rural communities across the globe confront multifaceted challenges in attaining sustainable autonomy, encompassing economic, social, and institutional dimensions. This study critically examines the agricultural potential, institutional robustness, and social capital within Tana Tidung Regency, Indonesia, and devises a Pentahelix-based strategic framework to harness these assets optimally. Employing a descriptive analytical methodology, the research reveals that villages in Tana Tidung are endowed with substantial economic resources—spanning agriculture, livestock, and plantation sectors—complemented by competent human capital, resilient institutions, vibrant social networks, and accessible health services. To expedite the realization of village self-reliance, the study advocates for diversified economic pathways, customized educational and vocational training programs, alongside comprehensive infrastructural enhancements encompassing transportation, electrification, telecommunications, and market connectivity. Integral to this approach is the cultivation of synergistic partnerships between village entities and external actors, including private enterprises and non-governmental organizations. Further strategic imperatives entail the implementation of non-formal educational initiatives, expansion of digital inclusivity, women’s economic empowerment, and capacity building of village officials in governance, fiscal stewardship, leadership, and policy execution. Reinforcing financial transparency, nurturing heterogeneous community organizations, facilitating periodic socio-cultural engagements, and augmenting healthcare infrastructure and outreach are equally pivotal. This holistic and integrative model proffers a scalable blueprint conducive to sustainable rural development and fortified village autonomy

    ملخص البحث: يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة تطبيق منهج تعليم اللغة التواصلية في تعليم مهارة الكلام باستخدام كتاب العربية للناشئين في المدارس الثانوية في باليمبانج. تكمن المشكلة في ضعف قدرة الطلاب على التحدث باللغة العربية بسبب نهج التدريس غير التواصلي. يعتمد هذا البحث على المنهج الوصفي النوعي، مع جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظة والمقابلات والتوثيق. يتكون مجتمع البحث من المعلمين والطلاب في إحدى المدارس الثانوية التي تعتمد كتاب العربية للناشئين كمصدر رئيسي للتعليم. أظهرت النتائج أن تطبيق منهج اللغة التواصلية يخلق بيئة تعلم أكثر نشاطًا وتواصلاً. أصبح الطلاب أكثر ثقة في التحدث باللغة العربية من خلال الأنشطة التواصلية مثل المناقشات، ومحاكاة المحادثات، والألعاب اللغوية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يُعتبر محتوى كتاب العربية للناشئين مناسبًا لمنهج اللغة التواصلي، حيث يحتوي على حوارات تطبيقية وسياقية. الكلمات المفتاحية :المنهج العربي للناشئين، اللغة العربية، التعليم التواصلي، تعليم المرحلة الثانوية في بالمبانج.   ABSTRACT: This study aims to examine the implementation of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach in teaching maharah kalam using the Al-Arabiyyah Linnasyiin textbook at senior high schools in Palembang. The problem faced is the low speaking ability of students in Arabic due to a less communicative teaching approach. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consist of teachers and students at a senior high school that has implemented Al-Arabiyyah Linnasyiin as the primary teaching resource. The findings show that the application of CLT creates a more active and communicative learning environment. Students become more confident in speaking Arabic through communication-based activities such as discussions, conversation simulations, and language games. Additionally, the content of Al-Arabiyyah Linnasyiin is considered relevant to CLT, as it contains practical and contextual dialogue themes .Keywords:: Al-Arabiyyah Linnasyiin, Arabic Language Learning, Communicative Language Teaching  (CLT), Senior High School in Palembang     ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji penerapan pendekatan Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) dalam pembelajaran maharah kalam menggunakan kitab Al-Arabiyyah Linnasyiin di SMA Palembang. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya kemampuan berbicara peserta didik dalam bahasa Arab akibat pendekatan pembelajaran yang kurang komunikatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru dan siswa di salah satu SMA yang telah menerapkan kitab Al-Arabiyyah Linnasyiin sebagai sumber ajar utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan CLT menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih aktif dan komunikatif. Peserta didik lebih percaya diri berbicara dalam bahasa Arab melalui aktivitas berbasis komunikasi seperti diskusi, simulasi percakapan, dan permainan bahasa. Selain itu, materi dalam kitab Al-Arabiyyah Linnasyiin dinilai relevan dengan CLT karena mengandung tema dialog yang aplikatif dan kontekstual.     The Future of AI in Arabic Language Education: Adoption, Expectations, and Pedagogical Implications

    ملخص: فتح دمج الذكاء الاصطناعي (الذكاء الاصطناعي) في تعليم اللغة العربية آفاقا جديدة في طرق التعلم، مما يوفر تخصيصا وكفاءة وإمكانية وصول غير مسبوقة. ومع ذلك، لا يزال اعتماد الذكاء الاصطناعي في هذا المجال يواجه تحديات كبيرة، بما في ذلك استعداد المستخدم، والفعالية التربوية، والفجوات بين توقعات وحقائق تنفيذ التكنولوجيا. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى دراسة مستوى تبني الذكاء الاصطناعي في تعلم اللغة العربية، وتوقعات المستخدمين من هذه التقنية، والآثار التربوية التي تسببها. استخدمت هذه الدراسة نهجا مختلطا مع استطلاعات كمية للطلاب والمحاضرين في العديد من مؤسسات التعليم العالي والمقابلات المتعمقة لاكتساب رؤى نوعية حول تجربة المستخدم. تم إجراء تحليل البيانات باستخدام الإحصاءات الوصفية والتحليل المواضيعي لتحديد أنماط الاستخدام والفوائد الرئيسية والعقبات التي تواجه تنفيذ الذكاء الاصطناعي. تكشف النتائج الرئيسية أن الذكاء الاصطناعي قد حسن كفاءة التعلم والوصول إلى الموارد الرقمية، ولكن لا يزال لديه قيود في جوانب التفاعل البشري وفهم السياقات اللغوية المعقدة. تؤكد استنتاج هذه الدراسة أن تحسين الذكاء الاصطناعي في تعليم اللغة العربية يتطلب نهجا تربويا أكثر تكيفا بالإضافة إلى زيادة محو الأمية الرقمية بين المستخدمين. تساهم الدراسة من خلال تقديم رؤى متعمقة حول العوامل المؤثرة في اعتماد الذكاء الاصطناعي بالإضافة إلى تقديم توصيات استراتيجية لمطوري التكنولوجيا والمعلمين لإنشاء نظام بيئي تعليمي قائم على الذكاء الاصطناعي أكثر ابتكارا وشمولية. الكلمات المفتاحية: التبني، الذكاء الاصطناعي، الفعالية، تعلم اللغة، علم أصول التدريس.   Abstracts: The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in Arabic language education has opened up new horizons in learning methods, offering unprecedented personalization, efficiency, and accessibility. However, the adoption of AI in this realm still faces major challenges, including user readiness, pedagogical effectiveness, and gaps between expectations and realities of technology implementation. This study aims to examine the level of adoption of AI in Arabic language learning, user expectations of this technology, and the pedagogical implications it causes. This study used a mixed-method approach with quantitative surveys of students and lecturers at several higher education institutions and in-depth interviews to gain qualitative insights into user experience. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and thematic analysis to identify usage patterns, key benefits, and obstacles faced in AI implementation. Key findings reveal that AI has improved learning efficiency and access to digital resources, but still has limitations in aspects of human interaction and understanding complex language contexts. The conclusion of this study confirms that the optimization of AI in Arabic language education requires a more adaptive pedagogical approach as well as an increase in digital literacy among users. The study contributes by offering in-depth insights into the factors influencing AI adoption as well as providing strategic recommendations for technology developers and educators to create a more innovative and inclusive AI-based learning ecosystem. Keywords: Adoption, Artificial Intelligence, Effectiveness, Language Learning, Pedagogy   Abstrak: Integrasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam pendidikan bahasa Arab telah membuka cakrawala baru dalam metode pembelajaran, menawarkan personalisasi, efisiensi, dan aksesibilitas yang belum pernah ada sebelumnya. Namun, adopsi AI dalam ranah ini masih menghadapi tantangan besar, termasuk kesiapan pengguna, efektivitas pedagogis, serta kesenjangan antara ekspektasi dan realitas implementasi teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat adopsi AI dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, harapan pengguna terhadap teknologi ini, serta implikasi pedagogis yang ditimbulkannya. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed-method dengan survei kuantitatif terhadap mahasiswa dan dosen di beberapa institusi pendidikan tinggi serta wawancara mendalam untuk memperoleh wawasan kualitatif mengenai pengalaman pengguna. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis tematik guna mengidentifikasi pola penggunaan, manfaat utama, serta hambatan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi AI. Temuan utama mengungkapkan bahwa AI telah meningkatkan efisiensi pembelajaran dan akses terhadap sumber daya digital, tetapi masih mengalami keterbatasan dalam aspek interaksi manusiawi dan pemahaman konteks bahasa yang kompleks. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa optimalisasi AI dalam pendidikan bahasa Arab memerlukan pendekatan pedagogis yang lebih adaptif serta peningkatan literasi digital di kalangan pengguna. Studi ini berkontribusi dengan menawarkan wawasan mendalam tentang faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi adopsi AI serta memberikan rekomendasi strategis bagi pengembang teknologi dan pendidik guna menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan inklusif berbasis AI.     تطبيق طريقة المفتاح للعلوم في تعلم الكتب الصفراء في معهد النورية جاغاكارسا، جاكرتا الجنوبية

    ملخص: يهدف هذا البحث الى وصف تطبيق طريقة المفتاح للعلوم في تعليم الكتب الصفراء في معهد النورية. ويركز هذا البحث على كيفية تطبيق هذه الطريقة، ومميزاتها وعيوبها، والتحديات التي يواجهها الطلاب في عملية التعلم. استخدم هذا البحث المنهج الوصفي النوعي، ومجُعت البيانات من خلال الملاحظة والمقابلات والتوثيق. وشارك في هذا البحث مدرس طريقة المفتاح للعلوم واربعة طلاب من الذكور والاناث. وقد اظهرت النتائج ان هذه الطريقة تسهم في تسهيل فهم الطلاب لقواعد النحو والصرف، كما تعزز مهارة قراءة الكتب الصفراء. ومع ذلك، واجه الطلاب بعض الصعوبات، مثل صعوبة حفظ النظم وفهم القواعد المتقدمة، خاصة للمبتدئين. وبناء على ذلك، فإن طريقة المفتاح للعلوم تمعد طريقة فعالة، لكنها ما تزال بحاجة الى تطوير من اجل تحقيق نتائج اكثر كفاءة. الكلمات الأساسية: طريقة المفتاح، الكتب الصفراء، المعهد.   Abstracts: This study aims to describe the implementation of the Al Miftah lil Ulum method in teaching kitab kuning (Islamic classical texts) at An-Nuriyah   Islamic Boarding School. The research focuses on how the method is applied, its strengths and weaknesses, and the challenges faced by students. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects consisted of the Al Miftah instructor and four male and female students. The findings indicate that the method greatly assists students in understanding Arabic grammar (nahwu and shorof) and improves their skills in reading classical texts. However, some difficulties remain, such as memorizing the nadham (grammatical poems) and understanding advanced grammar rules, particularly for beginners. Therefore, the method contributes significantly to kitab kuning learning but still requires innovations to increase its effectiveness. Keywords: Al Miftah Method, Kitab Kuning(Islamic classical texts), Islamic Boarding School.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode Al Miftah lil Ulum dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning di Pondok Pesantren An-Nuriyah. Fokus penelitian ini meliputi bagaimana metode ini diterapkan, kelebihan dan kekurangannya, serta tantangan yang dihadapi oleh santri dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari pengajar metode Al Miftah dan empat orang santri putra dan putri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode ini sangat membantu santri dalam memahami kaidah nahwu dan shorof serta meningkatkan keterampilan membaca kitab kuning. Namun demikian, terdapat beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti kesulitan menghafal nadzam dan pemahaman kaidah lanjutan bagi santri pemula. Dengan demikian, metode ini memiliki kontribusi positif yang signifikan dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning, meskipun masih membutuhkan inovasi dalam pelaksanaannya agar lebih efektif.     Kajian Stilistika Puisi ”Kepada Hawa” Karya Aan Mansyur dan Pemanfaatannya sebagai Materi Ajar Bahasa Indonesia

    This study aims to examine the poem Kepada Hawa by Aan Mansyur through a stylistic approach to uncover the meaning and aesthetic quality of the language used by the poet. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including reading, note-taking, and identification. The analysis reveals that Aan Mansyur consistently utilizes stylistic elements such as diction, sound patterns (rhyme), syntactic manipulation, and figurative language (simile, metaphor, and hyperbole). Specific rhyme patterns help create mood and tone, while syntactic structure and stylistic choices enhance the emotional expression of the poem. Symbolic imagery such as “red apple” and “faithful snake” enrich the portrayal of love, sacrifice, and sincerity conveyed by the poet. This study demonstrates that a stylistic approach is effective in uncovering implicit meanings and highlighting the aesthetic beauty in modern poetry. In addition, this study can be a learning resource for student in school in exploring the elements in poetry

    ANALISIS PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN GUNA MENINGKATKAN ASET PONDOK PESANTREN IBNU MAS’UD PUTRI DI HULU SUNGAI SELATAN

    Abstrak: Pengelolaan keuangan yang baik merupakan aspek krusial dalam menjamin keberlanjutan dan perkembangan suatu lembaga, termasuk lembaga pendidikan berbasis pesantren. Pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif tidak hanya mendukung operasional harian, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan aset dan kemandirian finansial lembaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem pengelolaan keuangan yang diterapkan dalam meningkatkan aset Pondok Pesantren Ibnu Mas’ud Putri. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada teori manajemen keuangan yang efektif, yang menekankan pentingnya perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengawasan, dan pengendalian keuangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengelolaan keuangan yang diterapkan, seperti perencanaan anggaran, pencatatan keuangan berbasis digital, dan optimalisasi unit usaha pesantren, berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan aset, termasuk infrastruktur, sarana prasarana, dan fasilitas penunjang lainnya. Selain itu, penerapan prinsip transparansi dan akuntabilitas serta strategi diversifikasi sumber pendapatan menjadi faktor utama dalam mendukung kemandirian finansial pesantren. Dengan sistem pengelolaan keuangan yang baik, pesantren mampu menjaga keberlanjutan ekonomi serta meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan bagi santri secara berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: pengelolaan keuangan; pondok pesantren; peningkatan aset.   Abstract: Financial management is a crucial aspect in ensuring the sustainability and development of an institution, including pesantren-based educational institutions. Effective financial management not only supports daily operations, but also plays an important role in increasing the assets and financial independence of the institution. This study aims to analyse the financial management system applied in increasing the assets of Ibn Mas'ud Pesantren Putri. This research is based on the theory of effective financial management, which emphasises the importance of financial planning, organisation, supervision and control. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the implemented financial management system, such as budget planning, digital-based financial records, and optimisation of pesantren business units, significantly contributed to the increase in assets, including infrastructure, facilities, and other supporting facilities. In addition, the application of the principles of transparency and accountability as well as the strategy of diversifying income sources are the main factors in supporting the financial independence of pesantren. With a good financial management system, pesantren are able to sustain their economic sustainability and improve the quality of education services for students in a sustainable manner.     UMKM Go Digital: Building Competitiveness through Digital Literacy in Tunggulsari Village and Introduction to Halal

    Purpose: This community service program was designed to strengthen the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Tunggulsari Village by enhancing digital literacy and raising awareness of halal certification. The program responds to the low digital adoption and limited knowledge of product legality that hinder the growth of rural MSMEs. Method: The program applied the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, emphasizing the identification and mobilization of community assets. Implementation included asset mapping, focus group discussions, collaborative planning, a seminar on digital literacy and halal certification, as well as pre–post knowledge assessments, questionnaires, and follow-up monitoring. Practical Applications: The results showed significant improvement in participants’ digital readiness, with WhatsApp Business adoption increasing from 10% to 60% and Instagram usage from 5% to 45%. A total of six MSME actors declared readiness to pursue halal certification, and two formally submitted documents to the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH). The program also initiated the idea of establishing a UMKM Digital Center to serve as a local hub for mentoring and certification advocacy. Conclusion: The integration of digital literacy training with halal certification awareness, framed within the ABCD approach, proved effective in fostering participatory and sustainable empowerment. The program not only enhanced MSME knowledge and practices but also provided a replicable model for rural MSME development. Embedding such initiatives into broader government policies and long-term campus–village collaborations will ensure sustainability and scalability in strengthening MSME competitiveness in Indonesia’s digital economy

    PROSPECTIVE TEACHERS’ FAMILIARITY AND EXPECTATION TOWARD THE IMPLEMENTATION OF STUDENT-CENTERED ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING METHODS

    The development of science and technology brings some impacts to various aspects of life, mainly English Language Teaching (ELT). . However, there is a shift of paradigm as the effect of modernization in ELT, the students become the main subjects of learning and the teaching methods are more student-centered. The prospective teachers need to understand any changes of teaching theories and make adjustment in their future practices. The present research is intended to answer the following research questions: 1) To what extent are the prospective teachers familiar with student-centered English language teaching methods?, 2) What is the perceived contribution of the student-centered English language teaching methods toward their knowledge development?, 3) What do the prospective teachers expect from the student-centered English language teaching methods? The research employed survey design involving 218 students of the fifth semester. The findings reveal that 1) the students show high familiarity to students-centered ELT methods, 2) the methods contribute to the development of their knowledge by providing theory and practices of student-centered ELT method, and 3) they have high expectation in mastering the theories and practice of student-centered ELT methods

    Artikel ini mengupas gender dan akademia, diskrimiansi dan revitalisasi organisasi penghayat kepercayaan serta posisi mereka di tengah masyarakat. Artikel ini berargumen bahwa, kendati berada pada posisi terdiskriminasi, keluarga Penghayat mampumelestarikan ajaran luhur kepada generasi berikutnya sangat ditentukan oleh kemampuan perempuan. Banyak keluarga yang terbukti mampu mewariskan nilai luhur kepada anak-anak mereka dengan mengandaikan kekuatan perempuan. Kemampuan perempuan dalam menjalankan tugas pengasuhan dan sosialisasi, menjadi faktor kunci dalam melestarikan ajaran luhur mereka kepada generasi berikutnya. Keberadaan kelompok Penghayat yang terbukti ditentukan oleh peran perempuan dalam menjaga dan merawat ajaran luhur mereka. Keberadaan perempuan telah menjadi faktor penting bagi organisasi Penghayat dalam mengkonsolidasikan diri, kekuatan soft power perempuan telah menjadi faktor kunci pelestarian komunitas dan ajaran luhurnya
