Character Transformation Through the Implementation of the Radec Learning Model at the Elementary School Level
This study aims to explore character transformation through the implementation of the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) learning model at the elementary school level. The research was conducted in Cluster III, Pagerageung District, Tasikmalaya Regency. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving 40 teachers as participants. The research data consisted of classroom observation results, in-depth interview transcripts with teachers, and lesson planning and evaluation documents related to the RADEC model. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed thematically through stages of data reduction, data display, and inductive conclusion drawing to identify patterns in the implementation of the RADEC model and its impact on students’ character development. The findings indicate that the RADEC model can be effectively applied in classrooms, although variations in implementation exist. This model has proven effective in enhancing student character, particularly in aspects of cooperation, discipline, responsibility, creativity, and self-confidence. However, its application faces challenges such as limited time and inadequate facilities. This study recommends further teacher training and the improvement of learning infrastructure to support the optimal implementation of the RADEC model
Integration of Gender Equality in Islamic Education Curriculum: A Content Study on Elementary School Textbooks
This study aims to explore the extent to which the principle of gender equality has been integrated in Islamic Religious Education textbooks at the elementary school level. The focus of the analysis is on the representation of the roles of men and women in the teaching materials used in the independent curriculum. The main data in this study are six Islamic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti textbooks for Grades 1 to 6, published by the Center for Curriculum and Bookkeeping, Research and Development, and Bookkeeping Agency, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. These books include Islamic Religious Education and Ethics for Primary School Grade 1 by Muhammad Nurzakun and Joko Santoso in 2021, Islamic Religious Education and Ethics for Primary School Grade 2 by A. Zainal Abidin and Siti Kusrini in 2021, and Islamic Religious Education and Ethics for Primary School Grade 3 by Moh. Ghozali and Erwin Wasti in 2022, the book Islamic Religious Education and Ethics for Primary 4 by Ahmad Faozan and Jamaluddin in 2021, the book Islamic Religious Education and Ethics for Primary 5 by Soleh Baedowi and Hairil Muhammad Anwar in 2021, and the book Islamic Religious Education and Ethics for Primary 6 by Nazirwan and Kholili Abdullah in 2022. This research uses a qualitative method with content analysis of the text and illustrations of Islamic Religious Education textbooks. The results of this study show a consistent pattern of gender bias, where male characters are dominant in religious and social roles, while female characters tend to be passive and limited to domestic roles. So then it is necessary to reformulate the content of the textbook to be more responsive to gender, in order to realize a fair Islamic education in accordance with the value of rahmatan lil 'alamin
Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam dengan Ĥalāqah Ta’līm dalam Meningkatkan Spiritualitas Mahasantri Ma’had al-Jami’ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung
This study analyzes the relationship between Islamic guidance and counseling (BKI) and the ḥalāqah ta'lim method to improve students' spirituality at Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study type. Data in the form of Islamic Guidance and Counseling service activities with Ḥalāqah Ta'lim in Improving the Spirituality of Students at Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung obtained through observation techniques, in-depth interviews (with Ma'had administrators, ustadz/ustadzah, and students), and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The study results indicate that the ḥalāqah ta'lim method, as one of the methods in Islamic guidance and counseling, plays a significant role in improving students' spirituality. The ḥalāqah ta'lim method can be an effective form of service because it includes important elements that align with Islamic counseling principles, such as spiritual guidance, character development, and improving the quality of individual life. The activities of the ḥalāqah ta'lim method, which include learning the Qur'an, learning English and Arabic, and moral development, can increase the spiritual awareness of Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung students
Analisis Hubungan antara Pembinaan Personel dan Komposisi Perwira TNI AL terhadap Pengembangan Karir Perwira
Pengembangan karir perwira di TNI Angkatan Laut (TNI AL) merupakan aspek penting dalam memastikan kesiapan dan efektivitas operasional organisasi. Namun, pembinaan personel dan komposisi perwira yang kurang optimal sering kali menjadi hambatan dalam pencapaian karir yang adil dan seimbang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pembinaan personel dan komposisi perwira terhadap pengembangan karir perwira di TNI AL, serta mengidentifikasi strategi yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pengembangan karir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, di mana data primer diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan perwira TNI AL, sedangkan data sekunder dikumpulkan dari dokumen resmi dan literatur terkait. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis melalui proses pengkodean, kategorisasi, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pembinaan personel masih memerlukan peningkatan, terutama dalam hal penyesuaian dengan kebutuhan spesialisasi dan pangkat. Selain itu, ditemukan ketidakseimbangan dalam komposisi perwira yang menghambat kesempatan promosi yang adil. Keterbatasan posisi dan kebijakan rotasi yang kurang sesuai dengan keahlian perwira juga menjadi tantangan dalam pengembangan karir. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perbaikan dalam pembinaan personel dan pengelolaan komposisi perwira sangat penting untuk menciptakan jalur karir yang lebih jelas, adil, dan efektif di TNI AL
Analisis Kompetensi Komandan KRI KOARMADA Dengan Metode Soft System Methodology
The competence of the commander of the Republic of Indonesia Warship (KRI) in the Fleet Command (Koarmada) structure is very important in facing increasingly complex operational challenges in the Indonesian maritime region. The background to this research is that there is a gap between the required competencies and the abilities possessed by KRI commanders, especially in technical aspects, leadership, decision making and operational coordination. The aim of this research is to identify gaps in the competency of the KRI Koarmada commander and provide evidence-based recommendations for improvement. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation and in-depth interviews with KRI commanders, staff officers and related personnel. The collected data was analyzed through coding, categorization and interpretation based on Soft Systems Methodology (SSM). The research results show that although commanders have sufficient basic technical competence, there are deficiencies in mastering new technologies and difficulties in making quick decisions due to limited information. Leadership and team management were also identified as areas that needed improvement, particularly in maintaining team morale and performance under pressure. Coordination across units and with external parties is considered to be still not optimal, and existing training is less relevant to real operational challenges. This research concludes the need for improvements in realistic scenario-based training, improved communications, as well as better intelligence and technological support to strengthen the competence of KRI Koarmada commanders in carrying out maritime operations
Peran Guru PAI Dalam Membentuk Karakter Religius dan Moralitas Peserta Didik di Era Digital
This article is about the role of teachers in shaping students' religious characteristics and morality in the digital era. The digital era brings new challenges in the formation of students' religious character and morality, it requires Islamic Religious Education teachers to adapt and develop innovative strategies. This study aims to analyse the role, strategies, as well as evaluation and development of PAI teachers in shaping learners' religious character in the digital era. This article uses the literature study method to identify and analyse various aspects of challenges, the role of PAI teachers, learning strategies, and evaluation and development methods in the context of religious education and morality in the digital era. The results show that PAI teachers have multifaceted roles as role models, facilitators, mentors, motivators, connectors, filters, and evaluators in religious character building. The discussion leads to the importance of a holistic approach in the formation of religious character and morality in the digital era. PAI teachers need to continuously develop their competence to integrate religious values and morality with the reality of modern technolog
Pendidikan Islam Moderat dalam Perspektif Multi situs:: Studi Kasus di Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Falah Dan Pondok Pesantren Mambaus Sholihin 2 Blitar
This study purpose to: (1) identify the classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) taught at Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Falah and Pondok Pesantren Mambaus Sholihin 2 in Blitar; (2) analyze the process of moderate Islamic education implemented at both pesantren; and (3) identify the similarities and differences between the two institutions. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews with administrators, teachers (ustadz), and students (santri) from both pesantren. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that both pesantren share common strategies in promoting moderate Islamic values through the curriculum of classical Islamic texts and student-centered activities. The kitab kuning are applied contextually to instill values of moderation, tolerance, and Islam as a mercy to all (rahmatan lil 'alamin). The educational process includes kitab kuning reading sessions (mathla’ah), problem-solving discussions (bahtsul masa’il), critical reflection on classical scholars (i’tibar), and daily poetry programs. The internalization of moderate Islamic values is also carried out through humanistic approaches, the use of culture as a unifying medium, and the actualization of Islamic teachings in harmony with national values. While both pesantren employ similar frameworks, each has distinct methods and emphasis in delivering their educational goals. This study highlights the important role of pesantren in shaping moderate Islamic thought within Indonesian society
Penerapan Teori Maslahat Izzuddin ibn Abd al-Salam dalam Menyelesaikan Persoalan Kepemimpinan Perempuan (Analisis Berbasis Kitab Qawa'id al-Ahkam fi Masalih al-Anam)
This research examines the application of the maslahah theory of Izzuddīn ibn ʿAbd al-Salām in resolving the controversy of women's leadership in Islam. With a qualitative-descriptive approach based on literature, the article analyzes in depth the concept of maslahah from the book Qawāʿid al-Aḥkām fī Maṣāliḥ al-Anām and the dynamics of the discourse on women's leadership in classical and contemporary traditions. The study results show that the principle of 'prioritizing the greater maslahat and rejecting the worse mafsadah' allows for a re-contextualization of the verses of the Qur'an and hadith, assessing leadership based on competence rather than gender, and categorizing various forms of leadership according to typology. The hierarchy of maṣlaḥah and the principle of tarjīḥ provide a flexible normative framework that is responsive to modern socio-political changes. This paradigm emphasizes the need for a synthesis between the authority of texts and the consideration of public welfare to formulate inclusive jurisprudence that respects religious sensitivities and optimizes women's potential in the public sphere
Utilization of Youtube as a Da'wah Medium: A Literature Review
This article discusses the utilization of YouTube as a medium for da'wah in the context of rapidly advancing technology and information. As a video-based platform, YouTube has great potential to spread the messages of da'wah to a broad audience. This article aims to identify the use of YouTube as a means of da'wah through a literature review approach. This research employs a descriptive literature study methodology, examining various relevant articles, books, journals, and reports that discuss the use of YouTube in the Islamic da'wah context. The results of the review show that YouTube has great potential to support the dissemination of Islamic da'wah through engaging and easily accessible video formats for a wide audience, as well as ease in producing creative and interactive da'wah content. YouTube also enables preachers to deliver daʿwah materials visually and audibly in ways that are easier to understand by diverse groups, including the younger generation. However, the challenges encountered in its use include the potential spread of inaccurate or misleading information and the need for careful selection of content that aligns with moderate Islamic values. The conclusion of this study is that YouTube is an effective medium for preaching in the modern era, but its use must be accompanied by selectivity, caution, and a deep understanding of media ethics and the principles of conveying religious messages
The Influence of Lifestyle and Belief on Purchasing Decisions using the Shopee Paylater featur among INSURI Ponorogo Student
This research aim to determine the influence of lifestyle and beliefs on purchasing decisions using the Shopee Paylater feature among INSURI Ponorogo students. This type of research is descriptive research using a quantitative approach, with data collection procedures through questionnaire and observation techniques. In this study, the population used was INSURI Ponorogo students using a purposive sampling technique which is included in the non-probability sampling technique. The sample in this study was 100 students. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. Multiple linear regression calculations in this research used the Eviews-10 program. The research results show that lifestyle has no partial effect, trust has a partial effect, and lifestyle and trust have a simultaneous effect on purchasing decisions using the Shopee Paylater feature among INSURI Ponorogo students
