Evaluasi Pelaksanaan Program Pemberian Alat Bantu Difabel pada Penyandang Disabilitas oleh Dinas Sosial dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kota Samarinda: Evaluation of the Implementation of the Assistive Devices Provision Program for Person with Disabilities by the Social and Community Empowerment Office of Samarinda City
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis alat bantu yang telah diberikan dalam program pemberian alat bantu difabel hingga mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program pada penyandang disabilitas oleh Dinsospenmas Kota Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang berfokus pada empat komponen dalam model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) oleh Daniel Stufflebeam dan dinilai menggunakan analisis ketercapaian evaluasi program, yaitu pengklasifikasian tiga kategori penilaian (Tinggi, Moderat, Rendah) dari Issac dan Michael. Data diperoleh dari data primer dan sekunder melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dan evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek konteks, sebagian besar komponen evaluasi telah terpenuhi dengan beberapa catatan bahwa masih kurang optimalnya pendataan dalam mengkategorikan jumlah penyandang disabilitas bersadarkan jenisnya. Pada aspek masukan, komponen evaluasi terpenuhi sebagian. Tidak adanya bentuk kerja sama dengan pihak luar sementara hal tersebut merupakan suatu aspek yang cukup besar menunjang kesuksesan suatu program. Begitu pula pada aspek proses dan hasil, komponen evaluasi keduanya terpenuhi sebagian. Proses monitoring yang hanya dilakukan satu kali, alat bantu yang tersedia dan yang diberikan berukuran sama rata, hingga muncullah berbagai ketidaksesuaian mulai dari segi ukuran, kenyamanan, maupun tingkat keparahan disabilitas penerima alat bantu difabel
The Influence of Problem-Based Learning Model on the Improvement of Students' Critical Thinking Skills in IPAS Learning
Get PDFEducation plays an important role in shaping individuals to be critical, creative, and independent. However, the learning process in elementary schools is still dominated by conventional lecture methods that do not actively involve students, which affects their low critical thinking skills. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kuanyar, Jepara. The method used is a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 19 students as the research sample. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability using SPSS version 25. The analysis results show a significant increase between the pretest and posttest scores (t-count = 7.833 > t-table = 2.110; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), which proves that the PBL model is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills. The implementation of PBL also encourages active participation, group discussions, as well as the ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively. Therefore, the PBL model is a feasible alternative learning strategy to improve the quality of education, particularly in developing critical thinking skills at the elementary school level
The Impact of Political Instability on Exchange Rate in South Africa: An Econometric Modelling
Get PDFThe study examines the impact of political instability on exchange rates while adjusting for economic growth and real interest rates from 1989 to 2020. After applying the VECM model, the findings indicate a short-term correlation between exchange rates and political instability. The results of the Granger causality suggest that exchange rate fluctuations and inflation rates are not directly caused by political instability. Additionally, the ARIMA model results indicate that political instability in the long run should be anticipated to cause minor fluctuations in exchange rates. Political unrest is forecast to level off between 2021 and 2040, with a subsequent increase in the exchange rate expected. It is recommended that policymakers deal with macroeconomic conditions that affect exchange rates, such as interest rates, to stabilize the economy and avoid excessive currency appreciation or depreciation

No full textThis research is motivated by the potential of Wagirkidul Village's existing human resources in the education sector, where it is known that Wagirkidul has many educational institutions which of course the implementation of learning must be considered in order to support the success of the vision and mission of the institution, including success in learning mathematics. Because of this, the author is interested in providing service assistance to mathematics teachers at SDN 05 Wagirkidul in learning mathematics through the Jarimatika method, where the purpose of this service is to: 1) provide basic knowledge about mathematical arithmetic operations with fingers. 2) produce good modules for educators which can then be used in teaching and learning in the classroom. The method used is the method of lectures, practice, question and answer, discussion and exercises using the prepared grammar modules. The results of the data show that the ability to count has increased after using the jarimatics method, this can be seen from the results of tests on students by teachers who take part in the assistance of the jarimatics method, which are in the medium category. The numeracy skills of students who learn using the jarimatics method are better than children who learn using the usual method. So it can be concluded that the jarimatics method can make the learning process more fun and increase children's interest in learning to count

Pendampingan belajar melalui bimbingan belajar merupakan proses pemberian bantuan, baik individu maupun kelompok oleh seorang atau lebih pembimbing yang memiliki keahlian dalam menentukan pilihan, penyesuaian serta pemecahan masalah yang berkaitan dengan perubahan tingkah laku sebagai akibat dari pengalaman maupun rangsangan. Akan tetapi, tidak semua anak bisa mengikuti bimbingan belajar. Hal tersebut terjadi di Desa Wagir Kidul Kecamatan Pulung Kabupaten Ponorogo yang jauh dari pusat perkotaan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ABCD, dengan tahapan: persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah siswa di RT 003/RW 001 Dusun Kerep, Desa Wagir Kidul, Kecamatan Pulung, Kabupaten Ponorogo. Banyaknya siswa yang mengikuti bimbingan belajar ini kurang lebih ada 20 anak tingkat TK-SD. Adapun yang membimbing yaitu peserta KPM. Pembimbing melaksanan peran untuk membimbing sesuai dengan keahlian yang dimiliki. Hasil kegiatan ini yaitu Pertama, meningkatnya prestasi belajar siswa; Kedua, bertambahnya minat belajar siswa; Ketiga, menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri siswa. Keempat melakukan kaderisasi tutor. Faktor pendukung dari kegiatan ini adalah terjalinnya hubungan yang harmonis antara pembimbing dengan pihak sekitar serta kemauan siswa yang tinggi untuk memperdalam konsep. Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah siswa melakukan bimbingan hanya ketika mendapatkan tugas dari sekolah, cuaca, jarak rumah yang jauh tidak bisa mengikuti bimbingan secara ruti

No full textThis study aims to find out how the strategy for implementing the complementary activities, how the methods used in the complementary activities. The method used in this study is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Driven-Development) method in the form of proper guidance and direction of activities. The results of the study show that the provision of public facilities can be realized through mutual cooperation which is reflected in the grouping activities. The conclusion from this study is that komplongisasi is one of the efforts to provide capital for community activities such as fees for garbage, street lights and various other joint fees. Komplongisasi also shows the traditions of the village community who continue to uphold mutual cooperation, togetherness and helping each other. By holding the komplongisasi tradition, several benefits are obtained, namely helping residents who have economic deficiencies, improving public facilities. Through the implementation of this activity, it can increase the independence of citizens to be able to meet the needs of residents, one of which is development through community self-help. The program for making compounding in Bekiring Village can run smoothly, along with the enthusiasm of the residents who take part in this program

No full textIn Dukuh Krajan, Bedrug Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency, there is potential for the majority of residents whose work is as dairy farmers, namely cow's milk. Cow's milk is sold raw to cow's milk collectors, while the selling price follows the price of collectors who are erratic or unstable. When the price of cow's milk fell, some residents already processed it themselves, but due to a lack of knowledge on how to process it, they just boiled it so it smelled fishy and many didn't like drinking it. This community service aims to raise the skill potential of Fatayat NU members with skills development training through processing raw cow's milk into ready-to-consume milk. This service uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method. The results of this training are the skills of Fatayat NU members in processing raw cow's milk into delicious ready-to-consume milk, interest in being consumed by children, the community and being able to develop the economy of Fatayat NU members Dukuh Krajan, Bedrug Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency

No full textThis research is in the background of how important the teaching of ablution is in Madrasah Diniyah Miftahul Ulum Kesugihan Pulung Ponorogo, where the environment still holds the jawen Islam. The child already knows the ablution, but if the child is asked to practice the steps of the wudhu, the child often does not sequence according to the steps of the ablution and even sometimes the child forgets one of the steps. The selection of the " ablution " method because as Muslims pray is an obligation to do, without proper ablution, then prayers are not valid. Therefore, to facilitate learning for children, researchers will use a direct learning strategy. This study aims to: 1) describe the process of implementing learning in improving the ability to know the bersudhu method through direct learning strategy and 2) grow up that the direct learning strategy can improve the take ablution methodology in Madrasah Diniyah Miftahul Ulum Kesugihan children. This study used classroom action research method in collaboration with madin teachers. The subjects of his research were several Madin children and one madin teacher, after which data were collected using observation and test techniques, then quantitatively analyzed.The results of several studies conducted by some madam children were 57% in the first cycle while in the second cycle it was 93%. Thus, it can be concluded that direct learning strategies can improve children's ability in the manner of "wudhu" in the early madrasah of Miftahul Ulum. It is recommended to Madin, the next teacher and researcher to use direct learning strategies to improve the ability to know other gobudhu manners
