Kesenjangan Wacana Ekoteologi Dalam Buku Teks PAI Kelas XII: Studi Atas Absensnya Nilai-Nilai Konservasi Lingkungan

    Get PDF
The global climate crisis demands a progressive religious education response to instill ecological awareness (ecoteology) in students. This study aims to analyze the construction of ecotheological discourse or its absence in the Grade XII Islamic Religious Education and Character Building Textbook published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology's Book Center (2022). Using a critical content analysis approach, this study traces the integration of key ecotheological concepts such as Tawhid, Khalifah, Ihsan, Fasad, and Mizan. The results indicate a null curriculum phenomenon (missing curriculum) related to environmental issues. Quantitatively, there is no explicit discussion of nature conservation as a religious mandate. Qualitatively, there is a significant dislocation of meaning in theological concepts. The term Khalifah appears 10 times but is limited to the context of political history and power, while the concept of Ihsan, which appears 46 times, is dominated by ritual and socio-humanitarian dimensions. Furthermore, the ecological postulates of Q.S. Al-Qasas: 77, which prohibits causing damage (fasad), has been reduced to merely moral damage within the context of work ethics, rather than ecological damage. This study concludes that the textbook remains trapped in an anthropocentric (human-centered) paradigm and ignores the importance of balance with nature. The absence of this discourse has implications for the breakdown of the character development chain of "Akhlak to Nature" as outlined in the Pancasila Student Profile. This alienates religious education from the reality of the global environmental crisis and loses its strategic role in developing students' ecologically pious character

Public Relations and Its Contemporary Challenges: A Systematic Literature Review

    Get PDF
This study presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) that synthesizes contemporary challenges in public relations (PR) based on four key scholarly articles retrieved from Semantic Scholar. The reviewed studies represent diverse contexts—Malaysia, Bangladesh, global PR measurement practices, and ethical public relations—yet collectively highlight the complex and evolving nature of modern PR work. Utilizing PRISMA 2020 guidelines, 48 records were initially identified, and four studies met the final inclusion criteria. The synthesis reveals four central themes: (1) digital transformation pressures, particularly the need for enhanced ICT competence and adaptation to real-time communication; (2) limitations in PR measurement, including the absence of standardized evaluation tools and insufficient organizational support; (3) structural and organizational challenges, such as weak leadership backing, outdated communication systems, and inadequate staffing; and (4) ethical dilemmas driven by misinformation, client pressures, digital manipulation, and insufficient ethical training. The review identifies significant research gaps, including the lack of integrated models connecting digital, ethical, structural, and evaluation challenges, as well as limited cross-context comparative analyses. Overall, the findings emphasize that PR challenges are interrelated rather than isolated, necessitating holistic and strategic approaches. The study concludes with recommendations to strengthen digital literacy, enhance ethical accountability, improve organizational support, and establish evidence-based measurement frameworks. This review contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of PR’s contemporary challenges and offers a foundation for future research and professional development

This study aims to analyze the influence of innovation and creativity in digital Arabic language learning, identify research gaps related to digital integration and self-directed learning pedagogy, and formulate a theoretical model for Digital Project Arabic Language Learning (DPAL), which combines technological innovation, teacher creativity, and the principle of learner autonomy. This research method uses library research. The results of this study propose an Arabic language curriculum design using the DPAL model, which can serve as a blueprint for religious education departments to develop digital, creative, and project-based Arabic language curricula. Theoretically, this study provides a conceptual framework for DPAL in Arabic language teaching. The gap identified by the researcher is the integration of the Independent Curriculum paradigm into the digital-based Arabic language learning design for its systematic implementation

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of sharia financing implemented by BMD Syariah in supporting the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The background of this research is based on the community's need for access to financing that is fair, usury-free, and in accordance with sharia principles, especially for lower economic groups that have not been reached by formal financial institutions. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a field study approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that sharia financing in BMD Syariah, through the Murabahah, Mudharabah, Ar-Rahn, and Al-Ijarah contracts, has proven to be effective in increasing business capacity, income, and welfare of MSME actors. However, there are still challenges in the form of low Islamic financial literacy and the risk of problematic financing. This study concludes that BMD Syariah has a strategic role in encouraging financial inclusion and community economic empowerment based on sharia values

The study of feminism is currently dominated by women, even though gender-fair relations will not be realized without awareness from the male side. One of the Indonesian male intellectuals who has a high response to women is Abdurrahman Wahid. Unfortunately, the study of Abdurrahman Wahid still revolves around three studies, namely, as a great thinker in Pluralism, liberalism, and pribumisasi, or privatization of Islam; as a political actor and as an educational thinker. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is first to find the pattern of Abdurrahman Wahid’s thinking about women, second, to look for influencing factors; and third, to look for the relevance of his thoughts. This study is a literature study, which is a study that relies on the main source of Abdurrahman Wahid's works or writings on women. The works or comments of intellectuals who discuss Abdurrahman Wahid's thoughts on women are complementary sources of this paper. Various thoughts of Abdurrahman Wahid will be researched and reduced based on the themes discussed about women. These themes are then analyzed using qualitative content analysis. The study found three things. First, Abdurrahman Wahid’s style of thinking about women is transcendental humanism. This pattern is a discontinuity from the previous thought, where the perspectives of Mu’tazilah, Marxian, and Sufism also give color to his thoughts. Second, the factors that affect the pattern are family, education, life experience, and madhhab thought. These factors are the structure of cultural and ideological understanding. Third, the religious and patriarchal Indonesian people make Abdurrahman Wahid’s thoughts relevant. Abdurrahman Wahid’s modality and habitus (pattern of thinking) allow his thinking to be received and developed by the community. However, this paper has not outlined the continuity and change of Abdurrahman Wahid’s thinking and does not see her intellectual position compared to other female thinkers

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning based on Islamic values is an innovative approach in education that aims to form students who are intellectually capable and spiritually whole. This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach that aims to identify the needs of STEAM learning in Islamic schools and analyze the integration of Islamic values in the process. The research was conducted at SMA Adh-Dhuhaa Sukoharjo as one of the Islamic educational institutions that shows commitment to implementing the STEAM approach based on Islamic values Data obtained through interviews with school principals, subject teachers (Science, Mathematics, Technology, and Arts), curriculum coordinators, education staff, and students who are directly involved in the learning process, observation of learning activities, as well as documentation of curriculum and teaching tools. The data collection method used triangulation techniques, while the data analysis was carried out thematically with the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of the study show that there are six main needs in the implementation of Islamic STEAM, namely flexible curriculum, teacher collaboration, supporting facilities, innovative learning resources, value-based approaches, and teacher training. It is evident that STEAM learning with the integration of Islamic values is able to encourage a holistic education that combines mastery of science and the formation of spiritual character, and is worthy of being developed more widely in Islamic schools

    Get PDF
This study aims to empirically examine the effect of curriculum management on the level of integration of the national curriculum in a modern pesantren environment, especially at Pondok Pesantren Al Junaidiyah Biru, Bone Regency. The background of this study is the urgency to harmonize the Islamic values-based pesantren curriculum with the national curriculum standards as a response to the competency demands of the 21st century. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational survey design. The entire population of 38 permanent teachers was used as respondents through the census technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire instrument that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted through classical assumption tests (normality and linearity), Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between curriculum management and national curriculum integration, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.572 and a regression coefficient of 0.307 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.327 indicates that 32.7% of the variation in curriculum integration is explained by the quality of curriculum management. The findings corroborate Mintzberg and Ornstein's educational management theory and demonstrate the importance of planning, organizing, and evaluating curriculum systematically and contextually. This research makes an important contribution to the development of Islamic education management theory as well as a practical foothold for formulating pesantren curriculum policies to be more adaptive to social, cultural, and educational globalization changes
