Benefits of Vestibular Exercises Affecting Performance in Early Childhood
Specifically will explore the effects of vestibular exercises on sensory and motor systems, as well as emotional and social regulation, which impact the performance of early childhood learners. This qualitative study is grounded in the constructivist paradigm, involving the participation of eight Grade 1 learners, eight Grade 2 learners, and eight Grade 3 learners in South Africa. Additionally, three parents completed weekly observation sheets to monitor the learners' performance. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and observations. The result shows that vestibular exercises serve as a relay, transferring signals to other sensory systems, which then convey them to the motor system. This interconnected process is likely to impact scholastic performance positively. By framing this within the social model theory, we recognize the importance of creating an inclusive environment where all learners can engage in these exercises. This model emphasizes the role of societal structures in enabling or restricting participation, highlighting that providing access to vestibular exercises can reduce barriers and promote equal developmental opportunities. Hence, it can be concluded that vestibular exercises benefit developmental areas in early childhood, thereby influencing academic performance. Through the social model theory lens, this underscores the importance of inclusive practices that support all learners in reaching their full potential
Penggunaan Majas Perbandingan dalam Novel Luka Cita Karya Valerie Patkar
This study examines the utilization of comparative figurative language in Luka Cita, a novel by Valerie Patkar, through a stylistic analytical framework. The research centers on three dominant types of figurative expression—metaphor, personification, and simile—investigated for their contribution to semantic enrichment, emotional resonance, and literary aesthetics. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the data were acquired through meticulous textual analysis and classification, grounded in Masruchin’s (2017) taxonomy of comparative tropes. The analysis identifies 24 occurrences of metaphor, 14 of personification, and 12 of simile throughout the novel. These stylistic elements perform significant narrative functions: metaphors provide a concrete representation of abstract feelings; personification attributes human characteristics to inanimate objects, thereby intensifying the psychological depiction of characters; and similes create direct analogies that amplify narrative imagery. Such figurative constructions are not employed solely for decorative purposes but as integral tools for constructing meaning and enhancing the reader’s interpretative engagement. This investigation contributes to literary stylistics, particularly in modern Indonesian prose. It demonstrates how Valerie Patkar strategically employs language to articulate intricate emotional states, internal conflicts, and thematic depth. Furthermore, the effective deployment of comparative figures of speech strengthens the emotional rapport between the narrative and its audience. Hence, the findings affirm that figurative language is pivotal in deepening literary interpretation and unveiling stylistic intent
Strategi Pengembangan Karakter Anak Usia Dini melalui Pendidikan Pancasila
The purpose of this study is to develop a strategy for early childhood character development through Pancasila education that can be implemented effectively in PAUD institutions. The library method in this study was carried out by collecting and analyzing relevant literature on early childhood character development through Pancasila Education, including educational theories and related policies. Researchers used sources such as books, scientific journals, and articles to explore the components of character education and Pancasila values that can be applied in PAUD. This literature analysis aims to identify research gaps, evaluate the implementation of Pancasila in PAUD, and formulate effective and applicable character development strategies. The results of this study reveal that early childhood character development through Pancasila Education still faces challenges, especially in PAUD teachers' understanding of Pancasila values and the limitations of the Pancasila-based curriculum. The existing curriculum has not sufficiently integrated the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor dimensions in a balanced manner. In addition, the learning methods used are not fully contextual and the less innovative learning media are obstacles in conveying Pancasila values in an interesting way. Collaboration between schools, families and communities is essential to strengthen the teaching of Pancasila values and continuous evaluation is needed to ensure effective character development
Komunikasi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Islam Moderat Dalam Podcast “Log In Season 2” Oleh Habib Ja’far
This study is driven by the urgency of promoting religious moderation in Indonesia’s pluralistic society, where religious polarization remains a persistent challenge. It focuses on the digital preaching of Habib Ja’far through Podcast Log In Season 2 on YouTube, exploring how his unique communication style conveys messages of moderate Islam. The central research question is: How does Habib Ja’far’s communication of Islamic education, grounded in a religious moderation perspective, manifest in digital content, and what theoretical and practical strategies underlie its effectiveness? Employing a qualitative approach and descriptive content analysis, the study analyzes selected episodes from Podcast Log In Season 2 specifically episodes 9, 15, 17, 24, 27, and 30 based on their thematic relevance to religious moderation and high audience engagement. Primary data were collected through video documentation and in-depth interviews with informants, including Islamic communication experts, digital media observers, and selected viewers. Data validation was ensured through methodological triangulation comparing interview findings, video analysis, and related secondary sources. This study applies Islamic education communication theory alongside Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann’s theory of social construction to examine how digital religious messages are constructed, contextualized, and disseminated. The findings reveal that Habib Ja’far’s communication strategies incorporate dialogical methods, humor, everyday analogies, and culturally resonant storytelling. These techniques promote values of inclusivity, tolerance, and critical engagement with religious extremism. This study contributes to the discourse on Islamic education and digital da’wah by highlighting how adaptive communication strategies can effectively promote religious moderation in online spaces. Practically, the findings offer insights for educators, preachers, and policymakers on leveraging digital media for value-based education. Future research could explore audience reception across different platforms or conduct comparative studies with other digital preachers in Southeast Asia
Transforming Public Communication in Hajj Services: A Contextual Model of KBIHU-Based Information Strategies in North Sumatra
This study examines the effectiveness of public communication strategies implemented by Hajj and Umrah Guidance Groups (KBIHU) in North Sumatra within the framework of the Hajj implementation policy. While existing research on Hajj services largely focuses on logistics, health, and administrative systems, limited attention has been given to how the state communicates with pilgrims in a manner responsive to socio-cultural diversity and public trust challenges. This study addresses that gap by analysing how information services are designed, delivered, and received in a religious public service context. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving Ministry of Religious Affairs officials, KBIHU managers, and Indonesian Hajj Brotherhood Association representatives. The findings reveal that public communication is dominated by one-way dissemination, lacks active involvement of local actors, and suffers from inconsistency in information delivery. These limitations hinder transparency, reduce trust in official channels, and increase reliance on informal sources. The study proposes a more participatory and adaptive communication framework that integrates two-way interaction, cultural sensitivity, and continuous engagement before, during, and after the Hajj season. The theoretical contribution lies in positioning this framework within the Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT), extending its application to a socio-religious public service setting. This approach strengthens state legitimacy by reframing Hajj communication as administrative information delivery and as a trust-building process grounded in accountability, inclusion, and cultural context
Transformation of Women's Religious Authority in Digital Da'wah: an Analysis of Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi
This study examines how female preachers in Indonesia cultivate and sustain religious authority in the digital sphere, particularly within a patriarchal context where their visibility and legitimacy remain contested. While online da’wah and personal branding have been widely studied, little research addresses the intersection of gender, charisma, and mediatized communication, especially across multiple platforms. Focusing on Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi a prominent preacher active on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook. This research explores how Weber’s concept of charismatic authority is embodied and reconfigured online, and how Hjarvard’s mediatization of religion explains these processes. Using qualitative content analysis of 30 purposively selected posts over three months, complemented by non-participatory netnographic observation, the study captures thematic depth and multimodal performance, integrating narrative and visual analysis with media theory. Findings show that Oki's digital charisma is built through emotional storytelling, consistent aesthetic branding, and active audience engagement. This enables her to bypass certain institutional constraints while remaining shaped by platform logics. These results affirm Weber's view of charisma as relational and mediatization theory's emphasis on the media's active role. Limitations include the single case design, the absence of audience interviews, and the restricted timeframe. The study urges religious institutions to engage female preachers, enhance digital literacy, and explore comparative or longitudinal research on women's digital religious authority

Evaluation of the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Program for High School Students
This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Program in high school students in Bulukumba Regency, especially at SMAN 1 Bulukumba and MAN 2 Bulukumba, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The main purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the program in improving students' memorization skills, comprehension, and religious character formation, as well as identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-location case study method. Data was collected through interviews with tahfiz teachers, students, and principals, observations of tahfiz activities, and program documentation. The results of the analysis showed that the program received support from schools, parents, and external institutions, despite differences in resources between the two schools. The implementation process runs routinely, but still faces obstacles in terms of time allocation and limited facilities. In general, the program has a positive impact on improving Qur'an memorization, student involvement in religious activities, and character building. This research shows the importance of optimizing facilities, teacher training, and integrating tahfiz programs in the curriculum in order to contribute more to the spiritual and moral development of students at the secondary level
