Acquiring Indonesian for 3-5 Year Olds in the Children Study Group of Wolosoko Village, Wolowaru District, Ende Regency
This study aims to objectively find and describe the acquisition of Indonesian for children aged 3-5 years in the Wolosoko Village Children Study Group, Wolowaru District, Ende Regency (abbreviated as WVCSG). This paper elaborates on the acquisition and the factors that influence the acquisition of Indonesian for children aged 3-5 years at the WVCSG. This research uses a qualitative approach. An approach that emphasizes the originality of the data natural, the researcher acts as a key instrument, the data is collected using the technique of engaging, face-to-face, record and documentation. The data were analyzed using an inductive reasoning model. The theoretical basis of this paper uses Psycholinguistic theory. The results of the study prove that phonologically, children aged 3-5 years are not able to pronounce the sounds [r], [ng], [ny], [y] and [k] perfectly, while children aged 5 years are already able to pronounce these two sounds. perfectly. Morphologically, children aged 3-5 years are able to use basic words and rephrases, while children aged 5 years are able to use three word forms (basic words, rephrases and affix words). Syntactically, children aged 3-5 are able to communicate using 2-3 words while children aged 5 years are able to use 2-5 words in communicating
Design Mathematical Activity in Mathematics Classroom: Decimal Number
The research was aimed to investigate six-lesson study team members in designing mathematical activities to develop students’ mathematization using Open Approach in the second step of the Lesson Study process in teaching decimal numbers. A total of 16 Grade 4 students participated as the target group. Three instruments were used namely lesson plans, student worksheets, and observation field notes. Researchers employed ethnographic research design to study how the mathematical activities could assist students to develop their mathematical ideas from the real world to the mathematical world through a flow of lessons over the four stages of the Open Approach along with the Lesson Study process. The research results revealed that a series of five research lesson plans encompassing various mathematical activities were successfully encouraging students to elaborate their ideas and transmitting their ideas from the real-world to the mathematical world using semi-concrete aids. Moreover, the results of using the Open Approach have been proved to be relevant as students demonstrated their mathematization in fostering their mathematical thinking to transform their ideas smoothly. Therefore, designing mathematical activities is important to cultivate students’ mathematical thinking in problem-solving instantaneously. A limitation of the research was identified when the Lesson Study team members were reflecting on the teaching practice. This is because they found that the unclear illustration in the student worksheets has raised confusion. In conclusion, the overall results of this research have contributed significantly to our recognition of the practicality of Open Approach treatment in the Lesson Study process in developing students’ mathematization through their participation in mathematical activities
SFE Learning Model for High School Mandarin Teachers in Tebing Tinggi City
This research is entitled 'SFE Learning Model for Mandarin Language Teachers at Senior High Schools in Tebing Tinggi City.' This activity aims to provide assistance in an effort to improve teacher skills in teaching Mandarin to high school students. This teaching training was carried out through a community service program with partner teachers in Tebing Tinggi City High School. This activity started from the anxiety of the principal, where the teacher had not been able to create an attractive and effective learning model. The research used training and mentoring method, starting with socialization activities and then opening in the form of offline motivational seminars. Furthermore, training activities were carried out online using the Zoom Meeting media for two months, involving teachers. The strategy in this activity used the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) type of cooperative learning model. The results of this study are expected to be useful for all teachers in creating an interactive learning atmosphere, with various forms of games and facilitated by current technological advances

The work suggested that the previous generation of Muslims faced trials and tribulations but they persevered and faced the challenges until God have mercy on them and rescue their situation. The same should be adopted by the present Ummah in dealing with its problem
The Effect of Instruction Through Mobile Phone-Based Virtual Networks on the Learning Rate of Students with Visual Impairment
This study aims at investigating the effects of instruction using mobile phone based virtual networks on the rate of learning of students with visual impairment. This study utilized a quasi-experimental approach, which was performed among male students suffering from visual impairment in their second grade of high school in Iran. The sample size consisted of 52 students with visual impairment (26 in experimental group and 26 in control group) who had cell phones and volunteered to participate in the test. The experimental group was taught through WhatsApp social network while the control group received regular classroom teachings. The data was collected using a researcher made English language test. The findings of the study revealed that the instruction through the virtual networks has a positive effect on the increase of learning rate in students with visual impairment. The results from this study would be useful to instructional designers, specialists, special education teachers and learners who wish to use cell phones for the blind
Digital Literacy and Its Use by Teacher Trainess at Secondary Level in Odisha
Digital devices and applications have been used in schools and teacher education institutes across the globe for teaching learning. All the prospective teachers must be digitally savvy to utilize it in school for teaching, assessment, management and professional development. This study intended to find out the level of digital literacy and its uses among teacher trainees at secondary level. Descriptive research method was followed for undertaking this study. Survey was conducted on sample of 170 trainees selected randomly from teacher education institutes under Utkal University, Odisha, India. Self developed questionnaire based on different aspects of digital devices and applications such as skills of trainees in digital technology, use of digital technology and applications by trainees for learning and teaching etc. was used at tool. Collected data were subjected to frequency and percentage analysis and accordingly conclusions were drawn. The study found that (i) majority of trainees can change screen brightness and contrast, minimize, maximize and move window screen, use search command to locate a file and download and install applications, (ii) more than 50% of trainees do not know learning management system, virtual worlds, podcasts and web design applications, (iii) around 70% of trainees are aware about storage of video in camera, manage junk mail and update username and password and less than 50% of trainees knew about voice typing and cyber security, (iv) majority of trainees use group email and whatsapp for academic work and only 20% of trainees use digital devices for using PPT in class, create digital learning materials, provide feedback to students. It is suggested that teacher education institutes must be equipped with digital devices and applications useful for teaching learning and professional development. Further, teacher educator must encourage and motivate trainees by integrated ICT in regular course work and across the subjects so that trainees can develop skills of using it for teaching, learning and assessment in schools
