Opinions of Foreign Scholars on Pashto Language

This will be a special structure of Pashto language so scholars have given different views on this language and its speakers. There may be some quotations in this commentary. self –research has also been done that confirms the authenticity of the language in the opinion of most researchers and writhers. The descriptive and analytical method used in this research. To address the issue the goal is to get those ideas out first which has been given by foreign scholars on Pashto language not only local scholars but also many western writhers have done research on Pashto language and gave his views on it. Which in turn is appreciated. Because it paved the way for the introduction of Pashto language and its origin and roots and he introduced the language to the world outside the region

Nature of Feedback and Interaction in Online Courses during COVID-19
Get PDFFeedback and interaction are essential parts of the learning process. No effective teaching and learning can take place without proper interaction and effective feedback. This study investigates the nature of feedback and interaction in online courses during COVID-19 during the academic year 2020/2021. The researchers employed both qualitative and quantitative research methods to achieve the purpose of this study. The study sample consisted of 115 students who are majored in the English language at Hebron University Moreover, four instructors were interviewed regarding the nature of interaction and feedback during COVID-19. The analyzed inputs of the questionnaire have shown that most of the students did not practice E-learning before, and they have internet connection in their home. Furthermore, most of the students agreed that face-to-face classes are better and more valuable especially in terms of interaction, online learning is considered as an effective way to maintain the communication during the pandemic and the nature of feedback given from instructors affect students’ interaction. Moreover, instructors can motivate students to interact with them and with other students during online sessions. It is important to mention that online assessment is criterion that instructors need to take into consideration. In addition to students' attitudes towards online interaction and feedback, teachers during interviews expressed their preference to face to face learning, and they think that interaction and feedback during online sessions are different and less fruitful than face-to-face teaching. At the end of this study, the researchers suggested some recommendations that may be achieved to improve the nature of interaction and feedback during the current situation
Factors Affecting Pupils’ Learning in the New Normal at Saint Michael College of Caraga
Get PDFThe world is facing serious issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic influencing people's economic, social, and lifestyle. The issue badly affects the educational system and institutions because nationwide closure stops classroom activities. The study aimed to investigate the factors affecting pupils’ learning in the new normal at Saint Michael College of Caraga. The study utilized the descriptive quantitative research method. The researchers used survey questionnaires via google forms with the 58 pupils in Grades 3 to 6, who were the study's respondents using the purposive sampling method. Based on the findings, there is a moderate extent of the factors affecting pupils’ learning in the new normal. This means that the pupils learning in the new normal is moderately affected by six factors: the perceived ease of use of technology, perceived usefulness of technology, faculty capacity of the school, course content in e-learning, course design in e-learning, and learner’s characteristics. It was recommended that the school administration continue supporting and providing the Learning Management System to the students for better learning. The pupils' perceived usefulness of technology helps them in the new normal learning; therefore, the teachers are encouraged to use videos, audios, and instant messaging to contact and provide feedback to the pupils. Moreover, teachers must monitor pupils' learning since the online classroom is new. The teacher’s reinforcement is significantly important to secure the learning for pupils online learning to be successful
Impact of Socio-Economic Status on Educational and Career Aspirations of Grade 10 Maguindanaon Students at Esperanza National High School
Get PDFDecision-making process relative to educational and career aspirations has a very significant part in planning career guidance which helps the students to effectively choose the career track/strand in senior high school curriculum. This study aimed to investigate the influence of socio-economic status of students on their educational and career aspirations. Descriptive correlational research design was employed in which a researcher-made checklist was answered by the randomly chosen Grade 10 Maguindanaon students. Frequency, percentage and Chi-square were appropriately applied to provide good inferences and implications of the results. Findings revealed that most of the parents of Grade 10 Maguindanao students finished high school level. Majority of the fathers were farmers and the mothers were housekeepers whose combined monthly income ranged from ₱10,000 to ₱15,000. Socio-economic status of Maguindanao students was significantly related to their educational and career aspirations. Higher social standing of the parents led to the higher educational and career aspirations. Low family income hampered the students to take up career track with high standard. Thus, Esperanza National High School should initiate an intervention program to inspire Maguindanaon students to pursue their educational and career aspirations despite of the financial woes they experience in life
Non-business students’ Perceptions and Experiences of Learning Entrepreneurship: Implications for Curriculum Developers and Lecturers in Zimbabwe
Get PDFNon-business students pursuing business-related degrees have increased in number at one selected public university in Zimbabwe. Entrepreneurship, which is commonly thought to be a subject for business discipline students, is being studied by non-business-oriented students as part of the curriculum. The purpose of this study was to learn about non-business students' perceptions and experiences while taking the Entrepreneurship course. To collect data for a case study design based on the interpretive paradigm, semi structured questionnaires were emailed to sixteen non-business Master’s students who were purposively chosen as key informants. Thematic analysis of the findings revealed that non-business students perceived entrepreneurship to be a relevant subject, particularly in these days of depressed economies where people must be job creators rather than job seekers, and where even those in employment must generate extra income. Further research revealed Entrepreneurship to be an interesting and beneficial course that imparts entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. The study concluded that entrepreneurship is a necessary course regardless of discipline and thus recommended that it be made a mandatory course across all faculties
Assessment of Community-Based Tourism Potential and Inventory in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, Akwa Ibom State
Get PDFThe study aimed to carryout inventory and maps the distribution of community-based tourism attractions in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District of Akwa Ibom State. The study was descriptive in nature and adopted purposive sampling method to select ten (10) communities for the study. The communities were drawn at least one from each of the Local Government Areas. Data for the study were obtained through questionnaire forms, interviews, focus group discussions and personal observations. The questionnaire forms were administered to a total of four hundred (400) respondents who were randomly selected among the ten (10) selected communities. The result of the study shows that community-based tourism potential are decaying in the local community due to ignorance of the local communities on tourism benefits and lack of involvement and participation in community-based tourism activities. However, new tourism potential /attractions were discovered during the inventory. We concluded that community-based tourism if well managed and restructured is a functional tool to driving sustainable tourism development. Therefore, it is recommended that the local communities should effectively participate and be involved in community-based related activities and they should be integrated in decision-making and management in the tourism industry to aid the sustainability of tourism development in the district
Development of a Reaction Light Tool for Smash Targets in Volleyball

In this study the authors carried out 8 research steps due to the limitations of the researchers. This research is planned to be carried out in September 2022. The research location was carried out at the Nusantara Private High School extracurricular club. In this study, a small trial was given to 10 volleyball extracurricular athletes from Nusantara Private High School, and a large trial was conducted to 20 volleyball extracurricular athletes from Nusantara Private High School. Based on the description of the research results and discussion, the conclusions in this study were determined, namely the results of a large group tryout by 20 athlete respondents from SMA Nusantara Lubuk Pakam. Where the score obtained in the large group trial was 1270 with a percentage of 90.71. The results of the large group tryout by trainer respondents were 2 people from Lubuk Pakam Nusantara High School. Where the results in the large group trial were 104 with a category of 94.54%, meaning that the large group trial of product responses was very feasible. The result of the final revision of the volleyball expert by obtaining a score of 100 with a percentage of 90.91% means that the product development of this smash tool is very feasible. Then the media experts obtained a score of 62 with a percentage of 95.38% meaning that the product development of this smash tool is very feasible

The values contained in Pancasila, especially the third principle of Indonesian Unity, are the soul and identity of the Indonesian nation. The realization of the values of Indonesian Unity in life as a nation and state requires a strategy from the government. This study aims to realize the values of the Pancasila Unity of Indonesia in overcoming conflicts in the life of the nation and state from the perspective of the Universal War Strategy, using the descriptive argumentative method through the study of literature. The results of the study indicate that there is a strategy to realize the values of Indonesian Unity through efforts to explore, and cultivate the points of the values of Indonesian Unity and avoid actions that result in the erosion of the values of Indonesian Unity
The Role of Islamic Scholars in the Education of Muslim Youth Against Violent Extremism
Get PDFThis study targets to explain the roots of violent extremism in Philippines particularly in Mindanao wherein various terrorist attacks were being conducted. The researcher also looks on education interventions that have been implemented in fragile communities and/or those that have targeted high risk groups, as a way of discouraging violent extremism. The study employed the descriptive – evaluative method of research, with the researcher made survey questionnaire as the principal instrument for data gathering. The setting of the study is the City of Cotabato which is composed of various Islamic schools and institutions that offers Religion and Theology courses. Cotabato City is formerly part and the regional center of Region XII. But due to the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law, it is now part of BARMM and served as the regional center. Being an independent component city, it's not a subject to regulation from the Provincial Government of Maguindanao where it is geographically located. The respondents of this study were the Islamic teachers (Mudarrisun) of selected Islamic schools (Madaris) and Professors (Asatidz) of Islamic Studies in selected institutions in Cotabato City that offer Religion and Theology courses. Only fifty (50) respondents were finally chosen to constitute the sample of the study which is complete enumeration of the target sample population. As a descriptive – evaluative study, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tools, mean, standard deviation, frequency distribution and percentage. Frequency distribution was used to facilitate computation of summary values, such as the mean and standard deviation. Percentage was used to describe and compare relative proportion of categories. The mean and standard deviation were used to describe the typical perception and the variability of the perceptions of the respondents, respectively
