Qualitative methods were utilized for data collection, with analysis conducted using GIS (Geographic et al.) and Adobe Photoshop, representing innovative approaches in LL research. The analysis commenced with quantifying language usage, encompassing mono/bi/multilingual forms on coffee shop signboards. Subsequently, language mapping was employed to illustrate language distribution and highlight motif of linguistic dominance that used on coffee shop signboards in specific areas on the map. Knowledge, Skills, and Practices of Global Service Standards Among Graduate Students at Saint Joseph Institute of Technology (SJIT)
This study employed a descriptive research design to examine the knowledge, skills, and practices (KSP) related to global service standards among graduate students at Saint Joseph Institute of Technology (SJIT). Using convenient sampling within the "Global Trends in Service Excellence" course, data was collected through a 30-item knowledge test and a survey questionnaire assessing skills and practices. Descriptive statistics, including mean, frequency, and percentage, were utilized for analysis. Results demonstrated a strong foundation in understanding global service standards. Additionally, student respondents showed high proficiency in collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, digital literacy, and dedication to customer-focused, ethical, and sustainable practices. While adaptability remains an area for potential growth, the findings suggest that SJIT graduate students are well-positioned to succeed in the global service environment. This study offers valuable insights for educators and institutions aiming to prepare students for careers in a globalized service sector
Mythological Identity and The Reconstruction of Spiritual Values in the Legend of Ratu Roro Kidul
ABSTRACT
This study explores the mythological identity of Ratu Roro Kidul, a prominent figure in Indonesian folklore, and its implications for local spirituality and culture. Drawing from Mircea Eliade’s concept of mythology as a narrative structure that connects humans to the sacred and Joseph Campbell’s notion of mythological heroes as symbols of cultural identity, the study employs genealogical myth analysis to examine the origins, variations, and roles of Roro Kidul’s myth across Indonesia. The research highlights two main versions of the myth: one linking Roro Kidul to the Majapahit Kingdom as a goddess protecting the Southern Ocean, and the other associating her with the Kingdom of Pajajaran, emphasizing her transformation into a queen of spirits. Both versions reflect the intertwining of spiritual and historical narratives, with Roro Kidul serving as a guardian of nature and a symbol of political legitimacy, especially in relation to the Mataram Sultanate. The study concludes that the myth of Roro Kidul not only represents local beliefs but also functions as a tool for understanding the connection between humans, nature, and the supernatural, while playing a key role in shaping social and political identities in Java. This research paves the way for further studies on the role of myth in the construction of power and cultural identity in Southeast Asia

By using one-way anova, the significance between the comparation use of paper and pen and social media (Instagram) is endeavored during writing process. The research was conducted in five treatments after pre-test were given and followed by post-test. Besides, questionnaire which consist of five close ended questions was also given to endeavor students’ response. The findings from both groups showed that students’ score who used Instagram was more significance. As it was shown that p-value > 0,05 (alpha) which can be concluded that there is significance different between variables of pre-test and post-test of group of students who used Instagram and paper and pen. The result of the questionnaire showed students used Instagram were more positive rather than students who used paper and pen. Students in Instagram group were more comfort during learning writing since they get much more entertainment and vocabulary enrichment through related post appeared on their Instagram account

Illicit Sex, Karma and Karmic Discredit in Kunle Afolayan’s Citation
Karmic discredit and law of Karma is a belief system in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is a force created by a person’s actions which to a degree determines what that person’s next life or his fate in the current life will be or look like. This belief is widely held on to that many people believe the cause of good or bad things that happens to a person has to do with karma. The catastrophic and astronomic fall of Professor Lucien N’Dyare from his lofty height and enviable academic pedestals is tagged to karmic discredit; not as a result of the damage done to Moremi but as a result of the sexual abuse done to Diatta, a promising young lady and daughter of Mr Cardosa who he deceived to bed with a failed offer of a scholarship which later haunted him to fall at Moremi’s feminist whims. The study adopts Hooks (2000) Feminist theory to interrogate illicit sex and karmic discredit in Kunle Afolayan’s Citation. As Hooks (2000) puts it, feminism is a movement to end sexism, sexist exploitation and oppression. This is exactly what the protagonist in the movie Moremi Oluwa was designed to achieve. She was to liberate female students from the clog of male lecturers who demand sex for grades. Finding reveals that Professor Lucien N’Dyare in the movie made an effortless attempt to sexually harass Moremi Oluwa right in his office, and at a later time, made another attempt to rape her in his residence after he had successfully schemed out a party that lured Moremi Oluwa to his trapped chamber one evening
