Digital Financial Twins in Islamic Microfinance: Evidence from Conflict-Affected Rural Economies (2020–2025)
Conflict affected rural microfinance faces data scarcity and repayment volatility, limiting sustainable outreach. No prior empirical study has evaluated Digital Financial Twin (DFT) analytics within Shariah compliant institutions under conflict conditions. We integrate cyber physical simulation with Islamic microfinance, offering the first large scale evidence of DFT impact on financial and poverty outcomes. We employ a quasi experimental design combining geospatial conflict data (ACLED), loan level records from five Islamic MFIs (N = 48,360 loans across 120 rural districts), and UNDP Multidimensional Poverty Index scores. Multivariate logistic regressions, structural equation modeling (SEM), and GIS mapping were implemented using R (v4.2.2) and lavaan (v0.6 12). DFT deployment correlates with a 5.8 pp increase in on time repayment (OR = 1.27, 95% CI [1.18, 1.37], p < 0.001) and a 5.9 pp reduction in default rates (OR = 0.72, 95% CI [0.64, 0.81], p < 0.001). SEM indicates a significant moderating effect of DFT on conflict intensity (β = 0.29, p < 0.01). GIS heatmaps demonstrate sustained outreach in high conflict zones. DFT analytics enhance Shariah compliant microfinance performance and resilience in fragile settings, informing policy on digital infrastructure investment in conflict affected economies

Greek Students as Users of the Spanish Language
A database in foreign language education can facilitate the educational community in distinguishing language levels and the degree of readability through the investigation of specific factors. For this purpose, 60 samples of written language production of Greek students of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, who study in different departments, were collected. These are texts from the last decade and concern the A1 language level. After the samples were collected by random drawing, they were digitized manually in word format. The results were manually exported to an Excel file, which was used to perform statistical analysis in the Tableau tool. The main purpose of this study is to highlight particular characteristics, difficulties or advantages of Greek students who use Spanish as an elective subject. Morphological, grammatical, syntactic or lexical variables shape the beginner profile of non-native speakers of the Spanish Language for level A1, while factors such as the number of features, words, sentences, the gender of the users and the degree of difficulty of the produced texts could create a significant database, useful for future research at a national and international level. The final product of this study results in the most accurate and perhaps most reliable distinction of language levels for a potentially more effective use of languages by non-native speakers if there is subsequent research at all levels of language proficiency and in more languages
Theoretical Approaches on Religion, Ideology, and Governance in Israel's Political Landscape
This paper explores the conflict between conservatism and modern society in Israel, focusing on the ideological divide between secular and ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) communities. Drawing on conservatism theory, modernization theory, and conflict theory, the study analyzes how these forces shape political, social, and cultural landscapes. The persistence of Haredi conservatism, rooted in traditional values and religious autonomy, contrasts with the progressive demands of a modernizing Israeli society, creating tensions that manifest in governance challenges, military service exemptions, and debates over public policy. The analysis highlights how conservatism provides stability and identity while resisting transformative pressures, while modernization drives gradual integration through workforce participation, education, and economic shifts. Conflict theory underscores the societal polarization and competition for power between ideological groups, complicating efforts to foster inclusivity and unity. By examining the Israeli context, the paper offers broader insights into the global dynamics of conservatism and modernity, emphasizing the importance of adaptive governance, equitable representation, and inclusive dialogue to address these tensions and promote societal cohesion. By examining the interactions between tradition and progress, these frameworks underscore the necessity of finding a balance between preserving cultural identity and embracing the demands of modernity to achieve long-term stability and inclusivity

Digital Reading Habits of EFL Learners: Did Online Learning during the Pandemic Covid-19 Enhance the Digital Reading Habit?
Since the pandemic has been over, a question come asking ‘Did online learning during the pandemic of Covid-19 enhance digital reading habits?’ Answering that inquiry, this study focuses on two questions (1) how are digital reading habits (preference and frequency) of EFL learners? And (2) Why does digital reading habit of EFL learners in that way? This is a qualitative descriptive study. This study collected data by administering written interviews via Google form to 24 informants. There are 15 questions asked to the 24 informants and after analyzing the data, the following findings are found. First, all EFL learners prefer reading digitally either for college assignments, articles, books, or novels. However, due to their preference, EFL learners are reading viral news on social media much more than other reading material. Related to the frequency, the highest frequency of reading is at the level of ‘seldom’ for all of the reading material. So, the digital reading habits of EFL learners are still in poor condition since their preference and frequency are far from accessing scientific articles and books digitally. Answering the second question of the reason for the EFL digital reading habit in that condition, the data analysis comes to the conclusion of learners’ bad digital literacy in accessing scientific articles and books digitally. From the interview questions and the informants' responses, there were found that even though the online learners had been for more than two years, the EFL learners’ digital literacy was in bad condition and so affected the reading preference and frequency in digital
