Exploring the Dynamics of Death Attitude Research: A Bibliometric Analysis of Scientific Papers in Dimension (2015-2024)

ABSTRACT Death is not viewed as the absolute end, but rather as a gateway to a continued spiritual existence or rebirth. The main objective of this study is to find out the publication trend of death attitude-related articles from 2015 to 2024.  The study used the bibliometric analysis method to analyze the data published in Dimensions. Analysis of death attitude publications over the past decade reveals increasing interest, with a peak in 2021 but a decline in 2022 and 2023. Citation analysis shows a steady rise in citations until 2022, followed by a slight decline. The percentage of publications with citations has decreased over the years. Metrics like FCR and RCR indicate fluctuating citation impact. Interdisciplinary research is evident, with dominant categories including "Human Society," "Health Sciences," and "Law and Legal Studies." Leading countries in death attitude research include the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Challenges such as declining citation uptake underscore the need for enhanced dissemination efforts. Death attitude research has seen increasing interest and impact, significant challenges in citation uptake and fluctuating impact highlight the need for strategic improvements in research dissemination and visibility. Addressing these issues is essential to maintain and enhance the field's scholarly influence

Building Resilient Campuses: A Blueprint in Proposing Safe Spaces to Address Sexual Grooming in Academia

ABSTRACT The study delves into the intricate matter of sexual grooming in academic settings and proposes a comprehensive approach to intervention and prevention. Using qualitative approaches, this study assesses the prevalence of grooming incidents, identifies recurrent themes, and investigates the repercussions on victims and educational communities. Along with providing research-based recommendations for curriculum developers, school administrators, and other interested parties, the study also critically evaluates present methods. This study aims to provide useful guidance for establishing a secure and supportive learning environment for all involved. The results of this study indicate that the respondents were not very aware of the risks associated with sexual grooming. This can lead to negative outcomes such as manipulating, exploiting, and abusing children and young people when someone establishes a relationship and gain their trust. Due to the fact that many students especially women prefer older guys, sexual grooming is becoming increasingly common in academic settings. First of all, they consider them to be more relationship-savvy, especially those who are employed or have enough money, they feel as though they are protected and can somehow care for their needs—funds taken from their stipends. Younger partners believe that because the elder partner is more experienced, s/he can mentor and teach them in a variety of areas. From the perspective of the more senior person in the relationship, they prefer dating a younger partner since they perceive themselves as the dominant party. Additionally, they think that making the "right decisions" and knowing them may improve their relationship

Peace Linguistics in the Academic Community Through the Lens of English Language Teachers: A Multiple Case Study

This qualitative multiple case study delves into the English Language Teachers’ integration and assessment of peace linguistics in various pedagogical practices, focusing on the exploration of both violent and nonviolent terminologies expressed by students in classroom setting. Data collection involved in-depth interviews with five ELTs, triangulated to two additional teachers and five students. The data were thematically analyzed, revealing five essential themes for violent and nonviolent phraseologies and terminologies expressed by students such as: Moralistic Judgement expressions, cultural and religious expressions, positive and encouraging language, promotion of peaceful communication and teamwork, and the use of courteous language. Second, it uncovers five emergent themes in the incorporation of peace linguistics: promoting inclusive and peaceful language, cultivating a culture of peace through interactive pedagogy, incorporating culturally inclusive teaching materials, sustaining peace linguistics across the subject, collaborating efforts with peer teachers or experts. Third, it highlights four essential themes in gauging success in ELTS pedagogy: assessment of peaceful efficacy, peace pedagogy feedback methods, changes in students' behavior positively, and engagement in peace awareness professional development opportunities. The cases imply both similarities and differences in how ELTs incorporate peace linguistics into their classes and gauge their success, despite encountering both violent and nonviolent expressions among students

The aim of the research is to prove that the hybrid learning model is feasible and effective to use to improve learning outcomes and interest in arts and culture lessons. In this research, the model used is the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research was carried out at Arrozaq Rantauprapat Islamic High School. The research subjects were class students' responses as product users. Based on the recapitulation from the Material Validator Expert Team, an overall average score of 95.38 was obtained, learning design experts obtained an overall average score of 90.71%, and media experts obtained an overall average score of 91%, indicating very effective use based on the Sig value. (2-tailed) obtained a value of 0.007, meaning the Sig value is <0.05. Based on the research data that has been described, it can be concluded that the web-based hybrid learning model developed for arts and culture learning in the dance arts aspect of Arrozaq Rantauprapat Islamic High School is declared very suitable and valid for use

Exploring the Role of Mental Preparedness and Emotional Competence in Nurturing Academic Success among Students in the Post-Pandemic Instructional Landscape

This study examines the relationship between students' mental preparedness, emotional competence, and their academic success in the context of the reintroduction of full in-person instructional setup after a hiatus of almost three years. Using a descriptive correlational research design, the study aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of these variables. The Grade 11 students from Langgal National High School were selected as the respondents. The findings highlight the significant influence of mental preparedness on students' performance in academic activities, underscoring the importance of being mentally prepared to address learning challenges, especially in the context of the pandemic. Additionally, the study reveals a moderate association between the level of emotional competence and academic success, emphasizing its role as a personal resource in adapting to the learning environment. Overall, the results suggest that students' mental preparedness and emotional competence during full in-person classes significantly contribute to their likelihood of achieving academic success

(4) Individual trials in the very good category, namely 87.55%. (5) The small group trial was in the very feasible category, namely 89.65%. And (6) field trials in the very feasible category, namely 89.15%. The practicality test was very practical, namely 96.67%, while the practicality test results for students were 95.59% in the very practical category. The results of the experiment using PBL-based interactive multimedia in the experimental class gave an average learning outcome of 84, while students who were taught without using PBL-based interactive multimedia got an average score of 60.9. Hypothesis testing uses an independent t-test with significant results. (2-tailed) of 0.00, where the result is <0.05, it is concluded that there is a significant difference between classes taught using PBL-based interactive multimedia and classes taught without using PBL-based interactive multimedi

Academic Pressure and Health Habit Formation Among Scholars: Basis For Community Health Teaching

This study aimed to evaluate the level of academic pressure experienced by university scholars in the Philippines across five dimensions: self-expectation, workload, despondency, study-related pressure, and worry about grades. Additionally, it examined the scholars' formation of health habits in six areas: water intake, rest, physical activity, nutrition/diet, temperance, and overall physical condition. The study also explored the relationship between academic pressure and health habits. Findings revealed that the scholars experienced a relatively high level of academic pressure, with self-expectation emerging as the most significant source. Conversely, the scholars exhibited a low level of healthy practices, particularly in the area of rest, which was identified as the least practiced health habit. On a positive note, temperance was highlighted as the most favorable health behavior, reflecting the scholars' ability to exercise moderation
