The roles of Islamic NGO in dealing with Feminism agenda in Malaysia: Peranan NGO Islam dalam menangani agenda Feminisme di Malaysia
The study aims to survey the roles of Wanita Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia (Women of the Muslim Association of Malaysia), an Islamic NGO whose efforts are directly involved in the repudiation of the feminist agenda in Malaysia. The feminism movement is among the agendas of the enemies of Islam and aims to mutilate Muslim women’s personalities and identities. It comes in the form of an intellectual invasion, a call for freedom, gender equality, and humanity. Such slogans successfully created deception and delusion in the eyes of Muslim women, like an oasis in the desert, until they were viewed as genuine and evident. The study used an action research approach by employing the Kemmis and McTaggart Action Research Model. It was conducted based on four action steps: reflecting, planning, taking action, and observing. The study outcomes showed that the repudiation was shown through the Save the Ummah Campaign (SUC), the Reject Comango Campaign, the Women: Your Honour is Because of Islam Campaign, the Women Gathering, Women Fiqh, and through seminars and conventions conducted from time to time. The repudiation efforts were also highlighted by writing books and counter-statements towards feminist groups via ISMA Women’s website, Facebook page, ISMAweb media, and other liberal media such as MalaysiaKini, Malaysia Insider, and so on. These efforts were made to provide awareness among the Muslim community in Malaysia so that they are more sensitive to coming together to defend the identity and personality of Muslim women from being influenced by the agenda of feminist groups

دور السياق في تحقيق الترجمة الصحيحة: The importance of context in the authentic translation
While the interpretation of the Quran emphasizes the importance of understanding the causes, issues, and incidents about revelation and knowing its time and place, translation studies are concerned with the roles of context in ensuring a precise translation. Context is regarded as one of the crucial parts in translating metaphorical connotations as it captures the meaning that transcends its literal translation. This study highlights the importance of context in achieving an exact translation, especially in translating the Quranic metaphorical connotations into the Malay language based on the semantic equivalence between the source and target text to the closest possible to the meaning of the original Arabic text. This is achieved by analyzing the descriptive, analytical, and comparative methods of selected copies of translations by Mahmoud Younis, Abdullah Basmeih, and Zaini Dahalan. The findings show that these translators pay special attention to the importance of context in the translation of the Quranic metaphorical connotations. Evidence also shows some flaws in the delivery of the intended meaning in the target language when these translations rely solely on the texts’ literal translation, consequently causing a diversion from the intended meaning of the Quranic message. Therefore, this study suggests that it is not reliable for an analysis of the Quran nor for the reader of the target language to depend on one absolute translation only but to refer to and compare different copies of the translation to reach the precise connotation
Comparison of the Messiah concept according to Islamic and Christians perspective: Perbandingan konsep Messiah menurut perspektif Islam dan Kristian
Messiah is a term derived from Hebrew (Mah-she-akh) and widely employed in the scope of religiosity and beliefs. Messiah is referred to as al-Masih in the Arabic ethos of Islam. As for the Christian tradition, they substitute the term into Christ. Messiah is an utterly meaningful discourse in Islam, Christianity, and Jews in all three major religions. These three religions have their own elucidations and distinctive notions of the Messiah. Islam believes that the Messiah is none other than the Prophet Isa (pbuh) based on the evidence from the Holy Quran and prophetic tradition (sunnah). Based on the information in the Bible, Christians believe that the Messiah is Jesus or Christ. The disputes arising between Islam and Christianity were primarily based on faith and the Muslim idea that today’s Christianity is not the original teaching of Prophet Isa (pbuh). It has been altered and modified by his disciples. This research will analyze the concept of Messiah in two significant religions; Islam and Christianity. This research will comprehensively compare the concepts of Messiah in Islam and Christianity from the definition, background history, purpose of revelation, resurrection, and distinctive ideas about Messiah in each religion. This research will employ a qualitative method such as library research and the analysis of the foregoing writing. This research preliminarily clinched the fact that both religions share the same notion of Messiah literally, but apply it to very different conceptions and principles
