The Effect of Baby Massage on Sleep Quantity in Infants Aged 6-12 Months With Cough and Cold
Sleep quantity is very important for infant growth and development. If the baby’s sleep quantity is poor, it can cause the baby’s physiology and psychology to be disturbed. In infant with cough and cold, the most common problem is sleeping disturbance. One of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be given to babies who are coughing and cold is baby massage. Baby massage can also cause a decrease in alpha waves and beta waves, so that theta waves will increase. This study aims to determine the effect of baby massage on the quantity of sleep-in infant aged 6-12 months with a cold cough in the working area of Karang Rejo Health Centre, Tarakan. This research was quantitative research with quasi experimental design pre and post with out control. The population in this study amounted to 124 babies. The sample size was 33 respondents. The result showed the quantity of sleep infants aged 6-12 month with a cold cough before being given a massage intervention 33 infant (100percent) with a bad category, after being given a baby massage intervention the quantity of sleep of infant aged 6-12 months with a cold cough increased to a good category namely 27 infants (81,8percent). Bivariate analysis Wilcoxon test showed p-value= 0,001 (p-value less than 0,05) which means that there was an effect of giving baby massage on the quantity of sleep of infant aged 6-12 months with a cold cough in the working area of Karang Rejo Health Centre, Tarakan
The Effect of Plyometric Methods on Increasing Leg Power in Sprint Athletes
This research aims to determine the effect of Plyometric Training on Increasing the Limb Power of Sprint Athletes. This research is based on the author\u27s interest in plyometric exercises to apply to the 12-16 year age group, and looking at the population in applying research on leg power using plyometric exercises. The research method used is an experiment with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study were all athletic extracurricular participants of SMPN 1 SUKAWANGI who attended the athletic sports club (Sukawangi Athletics Club). Sampling in this study using saturated sampling technique, namely all members of the population were used as samples totaling 16 people. The instrument used in this study was the Standing Broad Jump Test. The data collection technique was carried out by giving an initial test before being given the treatment of a plyometric exercise program and the final test was given after the treatment of a plyometric exercise program. Data processing techniques were carried out with descriptive statistical analysis and correlation tests using SPSS version 15. Based on the results of the correlation test of the results of plyometric training from the initial test to the final test, it was found that plyometric training can significantly increase leg power
Design and Build of Air Conditioners with Peltier Modules and PID Controls
Air conditioners are among the technologies that have been increasingly common, as time has gone on, from personal comfort to room comfort. A multi-story building is one location that requires air conditioning. This is because the structure\u27s air pressure will rise until a certain level, making the temperature too low, so air conditioning is necessary to maintain a comfortable temperature. Similarly, in tropical areas where the temperature exceeds what is reasonably comfortable. However, the current air conditioner technology has the potential to harm the environment. Since Freon, which is used in it, can pass through the ozone layer. Eventually, global warming will happen and the world will get hotter. The SHT21 sensor is the kind of sensor that will be utilized in this final project since it has strong and steady chemical resistance over time and uses the I2C interface. This type of sensor is also capable of being utilized as a calibrated ambient temperature sensor, with a digital output form already comprised. This sensor will enable us to create a PID system with feedback that monitors the temperature produced by the Peltier module along with reacting to controlled PID by delivering PWM into the driver, then subsequently transmits the signal to the Peltier module for monitoring. When the duty cycle is 100 percent or the PWM value is set to 255, the Peltier module generates a 12-volt voltage at its best. When duty cycle 0 percent or PWM value 0 is selected, the module stops functioning. It is anticipated that this system will advance toward a Freon-free air conditioning system
Pengaruh Kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dan Profesionalisme Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Pada Dinas Sosial Provinsi Jawa Timur
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh terkait kualitas sumber dayamanusia (SDM) dan profesionalisme kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas SosialProvinsi Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini penelitian Kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Descriptive. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini pegawai Dinas Sosial Provinsi Jawa Timurdengan jumlah sampel 61 pegawai. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel yaituAccidental Sampling. Sumber data penelitian ini dari data primer dan data sekunder. Metodeanalisis data menggunakan Analisis Linier Berganda dengan alat ukur pendukung Spss 24.0.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial Kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia(SDM) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja pegawai dan Profesionalisme tidakberpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja pegawai. Sedangkan secara simultan KualitasSumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dan Profesionalisme kerja berpengaruh secara signifikanterhadap Kinerja pegawai
Pengendalian Kelembaban Tanah dan pH pada Tanaman Kecambah: Sistem Irigasi Otomatis untuk Budidaya Kecambah Kaya Nutrisi Menggunakan Arduino Uno
Sprout cultivation is one of the practical and economical methods to obtain a type of food rich in nutrients. However, the success of sprout cultivation requires proper control of soil moisture and water pH in the cultivation environment. Watering begins when the moisture of the mung bean plant reaches the specified parameters with a soil moisture of 67 and a pH value of + 9. This tool aims to make manual work easier to automate, a benefit in watering sprout plants. This tool uses a water ph sensor and a soil moisture sensor or soil moisture sensor that functions as a soil moisture detector that will send commands to the Arduino uno to turn on the relay so that the water pump can automatically water according to the needs of the soil. The creation of this final project is carried out by designing, making and implementing system components which include Arduino uno as a controller, relay to turn on the water pump and turn off the water pump, LCD (linquit Crystal Display) to display the soil moisture value and water ph value. The results of the research value prove that the tools to be made can function properly and can be developed as expected.
Budidaya kecambah adalah salah satu metode praktis dan ekonomis untuk memperoleh jenis makanan yang kaya nutrisi. Namun, keberhasilan budidaya kecambah memerlukan kontrol yang tepat terhadap kelembaban tanah dan pH air di lingkungan budidayaan. Penyiraman dimulai ketika kelembaban tanaman kacang hijau mencapai parameter yang ditentukan dengan kelembaban tanah 67 dan nilai pH + 9. Alat ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah pekerjaan manual menjadi otomatis, memberikan manfaat dalam penyiraman tanaman kecambah. Alat ini menggunakan sensor pH air dan sensor kelembaban tanah yang berfungsi sebagai pendeteksi kelembaban tanah yang akan mengirim perintah ke Arduino Uno untuk menyalakan relay sehingga pompa air dapat secara otomatis menyiram sesuai kebutuhan tanah. Pembuatan proyek akhir ini dilakukan dengan merancang, membuat, dan mengimplementasikan komponen sistem yang meliputi Arduino Uno sebagai pengontrol, relay untuk menyalakan dan mematikan pompa air, serta LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) untuk menampilkan nilai kelembaban tanah dan nilai pH air. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa alat yang dibuat dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan dapat dikembangkan sesuai harapan
PENGARUH MINAT DAN MOTIVASI SISWA TERHADAP KEBERADAAN GURU PLP DI SMK DHARMA WANITA GRESIK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk mengetahui minat siswa terhadap keberadaan guru PLP di SMK Dharma Wanita gresik,2) Untuk mengetahui motivasi siswa terhadap keberadaan guru PLP di SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik, 3) untuk mengtahui minat dan motivasi siswa terhadap keberadaan guru PLP di SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, Regresi Linear Berganda menggunakan SPSS dengan sampel sebanyak 75 siswa kelas X dan XI tata busana, kuliner dan tata rias. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis data menggunakan data variabel X1, X2 dan Y, dan hasil signifikan antara X1, X2 dan Y. berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) minat siswa terhadap keberadaan guru PLP dinyatakan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (4,984 > 0,227) pada taraf signifikansi 0,000. 2) motivasi siswa terhadap keberadaan guru PLP dinyatakan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (6,948 > 0,227) pada taraf signifikansi 0,000. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu minat dan motivasi siswa berpengaruh positif terhadap keberadaan guru PLP, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan guru PLP memiliki implikasi positif upaya meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa. Saran diberikan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar, kompetensi dan komunikasi agar siswa tidak cepat merasa jenuh dan tujuan pembelajaran tercapai dengan baik
Implementation of the E-Worksheet ‘Our Oxygen (O₂) Friends’ to Enhance Elementary School Students’ Learning Motivation in the Era of Education 5.0
This study aims to examine the implementation of the Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) “Our Oxygen (O₂) Friends” as a tool to enhance elementary students’ learning motivation in the context of Education 5.0. The research was motivated by the low learning motivation observed among students, particularly in the Natural Science (IPA) subject, which involves numerous abstract concepts requiring innovative, interactive, and contextual learning media. A quasi-experimental design with a One Group Pretest–Posttest approach was employed, involving 27 fifth-grade students at MI Muhammadiyah 1 Probolinggo. The research instrument consisted of a reflection sheet based on Uno’s learning motivation indicators, including persistence, interest, attention, enthusiasm, responsibility, and engagement. The findings revealed a substantial improvement in students’ learning motivation, with the mean score increasing from 64.0 to 83.2, representing a 29.9% gain. The most notable improvements were observed in the indicators of interest (33.9%) and enthusiasm (33.8%). These results indicate that the E-LKPD provides a more engaging and enjoyable learning experience while simultaneously fostering early ecological awareness. Consequently, the Our Oxygen (O₂) Friends E-LKPD can be considered an innovative and effective learning medium that aligns with the objectives of 21st-century education
Analisa Implementasi Pembelajaran Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila Rahmatan Lil Alamin (P5PPRA) di RA Al-Ikhlas Konggo: Analysis of Learning Implementation of the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Rahmatan Lil Alamin Students (P5PPRA) at RA Al-Ikhlas Konggo
This research documents the implementation of the Pancasila Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile Strengthening Curriculum (P5PPRA) at RA Al-Ikhlas Konggo, with a focus on the "Jeruk Meletus" project. Involving qualitative descriptive research methods, this research was conducted in the 2023-2024 school year involving school principals and teachers as the main respondents. Project implementation steps include integrated planning, empowering students in active roles, emphasis on group work, experimentation, and reflection and discussion sessions. Observation results show that this project has succeeded in integrating the values of Pancasila and the principles of Rahmatan Lil Alamin into students\u27 daily lives. The benefits include strengthening students\u27 character, involving parents through the "Ceria Saturday" program, increasing diversity, developing students\u27 social aspects, and increasing creativity and criticality. Its implementation reflects a holistic and progressive approach in education, combining the theories of constructivism, collaborative learning, contextual learning, experience-based learning, and parent participation. In this way, RA Al-Ikhlas Konggo is able to create a learning environment in accordance with the vision and objectives of the P5PPRA Curriculum. Penelitian ini mendokumentasikan implementasi Kurikulum Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila Rahmatan Lil Alamin (P5PPRA) di RA Al-Ikhlas Konggo, dengan fokus pada proyek "Jeruk Meletus." Melibatkan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini dilakukan pada tahun ajaran 2023-2024 dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah dan guru sebagai responden utama. Langkah-langkah implementasi proyek mencakup perencanaan terpadu, pemberdayaan siswa dalam peran aktif, penekanan pada kerja kelompok, eksperimen, serta sesi refleksi dan diskusi. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa proyek ini berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan prinsip Rahmatan Lil Alamin ke dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Manfaatnya mencakup penguatan karakter siswa, keterlibatan orang tua melalui program "Sabtu Ceria," peningkatan kebhinekaan, pengembangan aspek sosial siswa, dan peningkatan kreativitas serta kritisitas. Implementasi ini mencerminkan pendekatan holistik dan progresif dalam pendidikan, menggabungkan teori konstruktivisme, belajar kolaboratif, pembelajaran kontekstual, pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, dan partisipasi orang tua. Dengan demikian, RA Al-Ikhlas Konggo mampu menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran sesuai dengan visi dan tujuan Kurikulum P5PPR
Parents’ Supports Toward EFL Students’ Excellent Class English Communicative Competence in Sma Antartika Sidoarjo
The purpose of this study is to explore the types and implementation of parental support for EFL students\u27 advanced classes that focus on communicative competence. This study is formulated based on research questions. Therefore, the problem identified is that English is an important language and students feel that oral and written subjects in English learning are problematic. This study uses qualitative case studies to answer the research questions. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. Six parents and their children participated in the interviews. The data collection will be validated using theoretical triangulation. The findings represent the implementation of parental support. It can be concluded that there are three types of support and implementation. Parents need to improve their knowledge of English, because English has become very important, even for everyday use
PEMANFAATAN ENERGI HIBRIDA ANGIN DAN TENAGA SURYA DI DESA BATANG-BATANG DAYA SUMENEP
Pendistribusian air ke masyarakat warga Desa Batang-Batang Daya dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pompa hibrida, yaitu dengan menggunakan energi tenaga angin dan tenaga matahari. Pompa ini cocok untuk dimanfaatkan di area permukiman dengan potensi alam angin dan matahari. Pompa hibrida di desain untuk menutupi kekurangan energi dari masing-masing sumber, dimana jika hembusan angin tidak stabil dapat dipenuhi dengan energi matahari, ataupun sebaliknya. Sistem hibrid turbin angin dan solar sel mampu menghidupkan pompa air, sehingga pompa bisa mengalirkan air dari sumur ke tandon air. Pengolahan listrik tenaga surya memerlukan sistem otomatis dengan memutus sirkulasi sistem pengisian baterai jika sudah penuh, hal ini bertujuan untuk menghindari kerusakan pada baterai. Selanjutnya disambungkan dengan pompa, sensor dan modem internet agar dapat dimanfaatkan dengan koneksi IoT. Dengan koneksi IoT ini dapat dilakukan monitor dengan penggunaan smartphone untuk data indikator sensor debit, kelembaman tanah dan kecepatan angin. Berdasarkan hasil di lapangan bahwa terjadi peningkatan jumlah kebutuhan air bersih sebesar 50% dengan penggunaan sumur bor dan pompa hibrida.
