PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN DAN KETERAMPILAN MANAJEMEN LAKTASI PADA KADER, IBU HAMIL DAN IBU MENYUSUI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TANAH KALI KEDINDING SURABAYA
Get PDFOrganisasi kesehatan dunia (WHO) menyatakan bahwa ASI merupakan sumber nutrisi terbaik bagi bayi dan batita atau bayi dibawah usia tiga tahun. Pemerintah telah mencanangkan program pemberian ASI eksklusif untuk meningkatkan status gizi bayi dan balita. Keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif tidak lepas dari pengetahuan msyarakat tentang manajemen laktasi baik pada ibu hamil, ibu menyusui maupun kader. Kader posyandu memiliki fungsi penting dalam melakukan pelayanan kesehatan seperti mengadakan penyuluhan serta memberikan informasi tentang kesehatan ibu dan anak serta mematau pertumbuhan anak,balita. Angka keberhasilan pemberian ASI di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tanah Kali Kedinding masih belum sesuai dengan target yang ditetapkan dari dinas Kesehatan Kota Surabay, hal ini disebabkan beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya pemberian ASI eksklusif diantaranya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai laktasi dan faktor psikologis. Hal inilah yang mendorong diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu hamil, ibu menyusui dan kader tentang manajemen laktasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tanah Kali Kedinding, Kota Surabaya pada tanggal 14 Mei 2024. Kegiatan ini dilakukan menggunakan media laptop, proyektor serta alat peraga atau phantom payudara. At the time of measuring the baby\u27s body weight and length still using separate and manual measurements. Therefore we need a weighing device that is able to measure the baby\u27s weight and baby\u27s length simultaneously. Then an "Arduino Uno-Based Baby Weight and Length Weighing Device was made by Combining the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor and the Weight Sensor (Load Cell)" to simplify the process of measuring the baby\u27s weight and length simultaneously and recording the results of these measurements. The benefit of making this tool is that it helps parents to know the growth and development of their babies aged 0 to 1 year. And the purpose of making this tool is to measure the baby\u27s weight and length simultaneously, which in general the process of measuring the baby\u27s weight and length is still not automatic, and still uses analog or digital scales but there is no tool that can measure automatically and simultaneously in the process of measuring the baby\u27s weight and length. Artikel ini membahas penelitian yang mengeksplorasi penerapan pendidikan karakter pada mata kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau. Metode studi literatur dipakai dalam studi ini dengan metode kualitatif yang melibatkan tanya jawab dan observasi terhadap dosen dan mahasiswa. Hasil studi menjelaskan bahwa pendidikan karakter melalui Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam membentuk karakter mahasiswa, terutama melalui metode pembelajaran seperti ceramah, diskusi tanya jawab, dan presentasi makalah. Metode ceramah memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang nilai moral, sementara diskusi memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Presentasi makalah tidak hanya melatih keterampilan komunikasi, tetapi juga membentuk karakter yang kokoh dan berani. The Application of Video Transcript on Youtube for Students\u27 Reading Literacy
Get PDFThis research investigates students\u27 perspectives on utilizing video transcripts from YouTube videos to enhance student learning, particularly in Reading Literacy. This research used an experimental design with a quantitative approach. The research involved 30 eighth-grade students from junior high schools in Surabaya and Sidoarjo who experienced reading difficulties. The research aimed to explore whether using films with transcribed text on YouTube, known as transcribed video, can improve the reading literacy of grade eight students. The findings from this study showed a significant level of student interest in utilizing transcripts when viewing YouTube videos. As a result, their reading comprehension was also affected by this study. After watching the videos, the students also checked the text transcriptions available on their devices. PENERAPAN MEDIA WORDWALL OPEN THE BOX BERBASIS MODEL PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING PADA MATERI AKU ANAK INDONESIA UNTUK SISWA KELAS III SDN KARANGAYU 01 SEMARANG
Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of Wordwall Open The Box media to third grade students of SDN Karangayu 01 Semarang in the material “Aku Anak Indonesia” using the problem-based learning (PBL) approach. This study used concurrent embedded design and a mixed methods approach. The study involved a total of 29 students, with pretests and posttests focused on assessing cognitive learning outcomes related to understanding self- and peer identity. PBL was implemented through the stages of material introduction, group division, problem solving using Wordwall media, and evaluation. Results showed significant improvement in learning outcomes: pretest top scores ranged from 28 to 93, while posttest scores ranged from 60 to 100. The average score increased from 60.5 on the pretest to 80.5 on the posttest, and the percentage of students achieving the learning completeness criteria rose from 52% to 83%. The N-gain calculation of 0.6 indicates a significant increase in knowledge. Observations also showed that 52% of students had an excellent independent attitude, and 55% showed an excellent global diversity attitude. In conclusion, with a 31% increase in learning mastery, Wordwall Open The Box was tested to be an influential tool to improve students\u27 attitudes and content understanding in the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model.Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan media Wordwall Open The Box kepada siswa kelas III SDN Karangayu 01 Semarang dalam materi “Aku Anak Indonesia” dengan memakai pendekatan Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Concurrent Embedded dan pendekatan Mixed Methods. Penelitian ini melibatkan total 29 siswa, dengan pretest dan posttest yang difokuskan pada penilaian hasil belajar kognitif yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman identitas diri dan teman sebaya. PBL diterapkan melalui tahap pengenalan materi, pembagian kelompok, pemecahan masalah menggunakan media Wordwall, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam hasil belajar: nilai tertinggi pretest berkisar antara 28 hingga 93, sementara nilai posttest berkisar antara 60 hingga 100. Rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 60,5 pada pretest menjadi 80,5 pada posttest, dan persentase siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan belajar naik dari 52% menjadi 83%. Perhitungan N-Gain sebesar 0,6 mengindikasikan peningkatan pengetahuan yang cukup signifikan. Observasi juga menunjukkan bahwa 52% siswa memiliki sikap Mandiri yang sangat baik, dan 55% menunjukkan sikap Kebhinekaan Global yang sangat baik. Kesimpulannya, dengan peningkatan penguasaan pembelajaran sebesar 31%, Wordwall Open The Box teruji menjadi alat yang memiliki pengaruh untuk meningkatkan sikap dan pemahaman konten siswa dalam model Problem-Based Learning (PBL)
LKPD DIGITAL SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PESERTA DIDIK KELAS I-C SD NEGERI KEPUH KIRIMAN I
Get PDFThis research aims to develop students\u27 writing skills through the use of digital LKPD as an effort to develop the writing skills of students in classes I-C at SD Negeri Kepuh Kuncian I. The method applied in this research is classroom action research, which is carried out by means of. during two cycles, the results of the research showed an increase where, in cycle I, the total score of students only reached 1,812, meanwhile in cycle II, the total score increased to 2,027. This achievement shows an increase in the total class score of 215 points. Apart from that, the number of students who succeeded in obtaining the complete category also increased, from only 14 students in the first cycle (54%) to 20 students in the second cycle (77%). This means there is an addition of 23%. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in students\u27 writing skills in writing sentences by using digital LKPD. Not only that, digital LKPD makes students more interested and enthusiastic in learning, so that the learning outcomes of students in class 1-C at SD Negeri Kepuh Kuncian I have increased quite significantly.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan menulis peserta didik melalui penggunaan LKPD digital sebagai upaya dalam pengembangan keterampilan menulis peserta didik kelas I-C di SD Negeri Kepuh Kiriman I. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas atau Classroom Action Research, yang dilakukan dengan cara. selama dua siklus., Perolehan dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dimana, pada siklus I, total nilai peserta didik hanya mencapai 1.812, sementara itu pada siklus II, total nilai tersebut meningkat menjadi 2.027. Perolehan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan total nilai kelas sejumlah 215 poin. Selain itu, beberapa peserta didik yang berhasil memperoleh kategori tuntas juga bertambah, dari hanya 14 peserta didik pada siklus pertama (54%) menjadi 20 peserta didik pada siklus kedua (77%). Ini berarti ada peningkatan sebesar 23%. Maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada peningkatan keterampilan menulis peserta didik dalam menulis kalimat dengan pengunaan LKPD digital. Bukan hanya itu saja, dengan LKPD digital menjadikan peserta didik lebih tertarik dan bersemangat dalam belajar, sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik kelas 1-C SD Negeri Kepuh Kiriman I mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan
Implementation of the Total Communication Method in Improving the Storytelling Ability of Deaf Students in SLB B YRTRW Surakarta
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the effect of total communication implementation in improving the storytelling ability of deaf students in SLB B YRTRW Surakarta. The type of research used in this study is experimental research with a research design, "one group pretest-posttest design." The validity test used is content validity, and the reliability test uses the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC), which is obtained at 0.831. The data collection technique used in this study was through a test in the form of an action test. The data analysis technique was carried out using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test analysis. The results of this study are known from Zcount, which is -2.371, and Asymp-Sig (2-tailed), which is 0.018, with a significance level (α) of 0.05. Based on the average pretest score and post-test score show that the storytelling ability of deaf students has increased. This study concludes that the total communication method affects improving the storytelling ability of deaf students at SLB B YRTRW Surakarta in the academic year 2023/2024
The Effect of Aversion Techniques on the Self-Control of Children with Multiple Disabilities
Get PDFStudents with multiple disabilities at SLB A YKAB Surakarta exhibit self-control challenges during eating activities. This study aims to determine the effect of aversion techniques on the self-control of children with multiple disabilities. The research employs a quantitative approach utilizing the Single Subject Research (SSR) experimental method. Data collection was conducted with one child with multiple disabilities, utilizing observation and frequency measurement techniques within an A-B research design, comprising a baseline phase (A) and an intervention phase (B). Data analysis in this study involved visual analysis to assess conditions and comparisons between conditions. Based on the frequency data acquired for self-control, a notable decrease in frequency was observed. Specifically, the results during the baseline phase (A) were as follows: first meeting 20, second meeting 17, and third meeting 18. In contrast, the results during the intervention phase (B) were as follows: first meeting 13, second meeting 12, third meeting 9, fourth meeting 10, and fifth meeting 8. Therefore, it can be concluded that aversion techniques have a significant effect on the self-control of children with multiple disabilities
Menggali Nilai-Nilai Pancasila Dalam Tradisi Pembuatan Ngadhu Dan Bhaga Di Kabupaten Ngada
Get PDFTradisi pembuatan Ngadhu dan Bhaga, dua simbol adat yang sarat makna, bukan hanya penanda status sosial dalam masyarakat adat Ngada, tetapi juga perwujudan nilai-nilai kekerabatan, spiritualitas, dan kebersamaan yang mana sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai-nilai Pancasila yang terdapat dalam tahapan pembuatan Ngadhu dan Bhaga melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi dan kajian pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini yang menunjukkan bahwa prinsip gotong royong, musyawarah, dan keadilan sosial tampak dalam setiap tahapan pembuatan kedua simbol adat ini, mulai dari perencanaan yang melibatkan semua anggota suku hingga proses pelaksanaannya yang penuh dengan kerja sama secara kolektif dan penghormatan terhadap leluhur yang ada dan dipercaya. Dengan demikian, tradisi ini tidak hanya melestarikan budaya lokal, tetapi juga memperkuat pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat Ngada di Nusa Tenggara Timur.
