Artificial Intelligence Based on Identifying Face Mask Wearing Detection Using Recurrent Neural Network
COVID-19 has established a brand new frequency, and people have started realizing that they are entering a new world. The society is currently undergoing rapid change and needs to respond rapidly to fresh norms which surround us all. Creating a risk-free environment is a priority for everyone as life has not been as conductive as before brand new plans are methodized daily to adapt to policies and controls. The facial mask detection platform uses artificial intelligence see if the user is wearing a mask. App users can also add faces and phone numbers to warn themselves if they are not wearing a mask. A notice is issued to the administrator if the face captured by the camera is not recognized. Several COVID tracking tools are acceptable and safe in many aspects of the society. The most important tool is mask inspection using the proposed method, the artificial intelligence-based recurrent neural network (RNN) algorithm is enabled to capture the input image from the image classification in the dataset. However, in the overlapping scene, a different size and localization face mask detector provide a plurality of face images of the detected face. Detected faces extracted from this are grouped based on the human face detection. The recurrent neural network (RNN) algorithm using classifier and detection the mask or unmasked faces classifier. If the result is decoded from the stage, the final output is detected using all face images in the image correctly and then a message is sent to the surface and e-mail send that is not either of the mask or unmask
Food Handling and Personal Hygiene Practices among Momo Vendors in Jaipur City, Rajasthan
Street food is ready to eat food, easily available, and offers a lot of varied choices, supporting different sections of society differently. Along with numerous benefits, street food poses a great threat to public health in which street food vendors are major culprits. Vendors are often less educated and do not follow proper hygiene and safety practices. The present study was conducted to assess the hygiene and food handling practices of 100 momo vendors from five street food vending hubs of Jaipur city and to create awareness regarding safe food handling practices. A pretested questionnaire was used to collect data from them. Almost all the vendors served food with bare hands and without wearing apron. Majority (65%) of vendors did not keep raw and cooked food separate and non-food items were stored along with food supplies. In 37% of vending sites, flies were seen harboring in the vicinity of the vending units. Presence of pests such as cockroaches, ants, and rats was observed around 18% vending outlets. Vendors often follow a low level of personal hygiene practices. There is a need to regulate these vendors with mandatory training and certification. Collective efforts of both vendors and official authorities are required to bring the changes
A Critical Review on Basti – An Ardha Chikitsa
Background: In Ayurveda, Chikitsa does not mean simply the relief from ailment or absence of symptoms; it is bringing back the normalcy specific to that person. The word Shodhana means cleansing and purifying. Basti holds a distinct position in contrast to other Panchakarma measures due to its wide spectrum and competent benefits. Observation: Basti Karma controls Vata at its Moolasthana Pakwashaya, and thus, all metabolic processes under the control of Vata are automatically regulated as, if the root of the diseased tree is destroyed; its branches, leaves, and flowers are automatically destroyed. Veerya of the Basti Dravyas transmitted all over the body. It sucks out Doshas from head to toe as, the sun though miles away with its rays, sucks the water from the plants on the earth. No other Chikitsa is as capable as Basti to tolerate and regulate the force of Vata. All these actions of Basti can be well explained on the basis of known physiological and pharmacological actions. Thus, Basti has promotive, curative, preventive, and rejuvenative effect. Conclusion: It can be concluded that Basti is a highly complex, sophisticated, and systemic therapy having a wider range of therapeutic actions and indications. It has been considered as the prime treatment modality of Vata Dosha. Innumerable Basti can be formulated using various drugs in different proportions for various diseases and for different patients
A Pain Management through Ayurveda (Viddha Karma) in Gridhrasi (Sciatica) – A Case Report
Gridhrasi (Sciatica) is a musculoskeletal disorder in ayurveda, in which patient walks like gridha (vulture), So named as gridhrasi. In this disease, extreme and radiating pain occurs from the lower back to thighs and legs. In today’s era, vata vyadhi become so much common, not only old people but youngers also start becoming the patient of vata vyadhi. Here, one of them is Gridhrasi (Sciatica). In this article, I am presenting a case study on a 34-year-old patient with the complaints of Ruka (Pain), Toda (Pricking pain), and Stambha (Stiffness) start from Sphik (Buttock) and radiate toward Kati (Lumber region), Uru (Thighs), Janu (Knee joint), and Pada (legs) and left leg SLR positive was treated with ayurveda. Panchakarma is a group of various kind of therapies, which helps in the treatment in ayurveda. It has its own importance as it works on overall aspects of diseased as well as healthy person too. It does purification of body and gives nutrition too. Viddha karma is explained in Sushrut Samhita and it works very good in pain management as it helps in eradication of Avrodha (vata) [Obstruction] in ayurveda avrutta vata is the main cause of pain in Gridhrasi. According to Acharya Sushrut, the site of Viddha karma is 4 angula (finger) above and below the knee crease on the lateral aspect, but it also can be given at the site of the pain. This whole study was completed in 30 days, where Viddha karma was performed on every alternate day in first 7 days and then every 3rd day for 21 days
RP-HPLC Method Development and Validation for Simultaneous Estimation of Alprazolam and Melatonin in Pharmaceutical Dosage Form
Melatonin a hormone is a major product of the pineal gland. Alprazolam is an anti-anxiety drug that belongs to the benzodiazepines category. The quantity of alprazolam and melatonin had been calculated by the use of a regression equation and the responses were measured at 277 nanometers wavelength using the above-mentioned conditions RP-HPLC simultaneous estimation of Alprazolam and Melatonin has developed a method and determined for validation. The method was estimated as specific and no interference was seen from impurities and excipients. The present study method developed as simple, precise, and accurate for determination and can be further used for the analysis of Alprazolam and Melatonin for dosage formulation
Case-Based Learning and its Application as a Teaching Tool for Medical Graduates in Competency-Based Medical Education in Clinical Microbiology
Background: Microbiology is taught using traditional methods, and its practical application is scarce among medical practitioners. As a result, “active learning” is essential to aid pupil learning. One such strategy is case-based learning (CBL), which helps to improve understanding as well as therapeutic applications of microbiology in everyday practice. Aim: CBL was first used as a teaching and learning method in clinical microbiology for medical students. Methodology: At IQ City Medical College and Hospital in Durgapur, an educational intervention study was undertaken for the 2nd phase MBBS students. A total of 82 people took part in the study, and two groups were formed. After sensitizing the faculty using CBL, the project was carried out. The first group was given a CBL, whereas the second group was given a didactic talk with crossover. A pre- and post-test was done, and student and instructor perceptions were recorded and assessed. Results: CBL was warmly received by both students and teachers. Students and teachers’ perceptions were rated on a Likert scale ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree. In comparison to Didactic Lecture, around 76.8% of students believe that in CBL, we interact more with teachers, followed by 65.9% who believe that CBL has helped me retain the material and its clinical application, and 62.2% who believe that CBL has stimulated self-study. Conclusion: CBL in microbiology is an effective technique for improving and changing students’ attitudes toward microbiology’s applicability in clinical practice. It also helps students gain a better understanding of microbiology

A Study on the Social Determinants Affecting Nutritional Status of the Children of Guwahati City, Assam
The present study aims to understand the nutritional status of the pre-adolescent urban Guwahati boys and girls belonging to the age group of 6–10 years in relation to some social determinants such as parental education, parental occupation, family income, food habit, family type, and consumption of fast food. A total sample of 471 boys and girls going to the elite private schools of the city were collected cross-sectionally and measured for their stature and body weight. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cutoff for body mass index was used to study the nutritional status. Result shows that the boys are more malnourished than the girls. On contrary, the girls are found to be more at risk of overweight but are also healthier than the boys. The relationship of parental education and nutritional status is found to be statistically significant at 5% level among the boys. Further, this was supported by multiple logistic regression analyses performed to understand the association between the nutritional status and the social determinants which shows significance in fathers’ education and underweight (odds ratio [OR] – 3.043) and overweight (OR – 4.612) at 5% level. Father’s occupation and nutritional status are also found to be significant with underweight (OR – 2.961) at 5% level for the same. Maternal occupation and fast-food consumption are also found to be significantly associated with the nutritional status of the children. It may, therefore, be concluded that the nutritional status of the boys and girls is dependent on a number of social factors, thus making them vulnerable to malnutrition
Water Birth
A variety of birthing options is available today. Depending on the preference and the health of mother and baby, a mother may choose to deliver in the hospital, at a birthing center or at home. Beyond location, more and more women are choosing water births as the way their babies enter the world. A doctor, nurse-midwife, or midwife helps the mother through it. Midwives, birthing centers, and a growing number of obstetricians believe that reducing the stress of labor and delivery will reduce fetal complications
Pregnancy in COVID-19: Current Understanding and Knowledge Gaps
Aim: This study aims to study the impact of COVID-19 on health of pregnant women and its effect on pregnancy outcomes. Methods: Electronic databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, and Science Direct were searched for terms such as “COVID-19 and pregnancy,” “severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 and pregnancy,” “COVID-19 and maternal outcomes,” “COVID-19 and neonatal outcomes” from December 2019 to June 2021. Discussion: Pregnancy-induced immunological susceptibility is responsible for COVID-19 infection. Risk of vertical transmission, even if it is low, still exists. Infected pregnant women are at a high risk of obstetric outcomes such as cesarean section, preterm delivery, stillbirth, neonatal deaths, and neonatal intensive care unit admissions. Mental health of pregnant women is greatly affected due to lockdown, burdened by shift in health care to accommodate for and treatment of infected populations, thereby inadvertently neglecting maternal health care. Recommendations are laid down by international and national agencies regarding screening, treatment, management, and monitoring strategies which are aimed at reducing maternal and neonatal adversity. Conclusion: Researchers all over the globe are in unchartered territory due to the novel nature of virus, thus establishment of causal relationships will take time. However, longitudinal prospective population-based studies should be planned to gain an understanding into the impact of virus on pregnant women
