    Kontribusi Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Pembentukan Moral dan Etika Siswa di Indonesia

    This research aims to examine the influence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on the ethics and morals of students at SDN 02 Lempuyang Bandar, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative methodology, the study gathered data through documentation, interviews, and observations. The analysis of the data was conducted through three primary steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Islamic Religious Education significantly contributes to the development of students’ values, including faith, integrity, self-control, accountability, and patriotism. However, the overall effectiveness of this education is limited by a less supportive social environment and a lack of varied teaching methods. To nurture morally conscious students who have a love for their country, it is crucial to adopt innovative teaching strategies in Islamic Religious Education and to promote strong collaboration among the community, families, and schools. This research contributes to the discourse surrounding children's moral development through a value-based education approach, highlighting that Islamic Religious Education should not only be viewed as a cognitive subject but also as a vital tool for character transformation and the fostering of noble qualities from an early age

    Penelitian ini menggali konsep wisata dalam al-Qur'an dengan fokus pada penafsiran Quraish Shihab. Dari perspektif agama, wisata dipandang sebagai ibadah dan refleksi kebesaran Allah. Penelitian menyoroti permasalahan dasar seputar arti dan tujuan perjalanan dalam al-Qur'an, serta dampaknya pada kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat Muslim. Tujuan penelitian tidak hanya terbatas pada pemahaman konsep wisata, melainkan juga kontribusi pada diskusi kebermaknaan dan dampak perjalanan. Implikasi praktis penelitian mencakup pemahaman masyarakat dan wisatawan terhadap nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam perjalanan mereka. Selain itu, penelitian ini berpotensi memberikan kontribusi pada pengelolaan destinasi wisata yang memperhatikan nilai-nilai agama. Tinjauan tentang wisata dan manfaatnya dari perspektif kesehatan mental dan religius menyoroti dampak positifnya pada kesejahteraan fisik dan mental individu. Penelitian ini mempertimbangkan kaitan antara wisata, agama, dan kesehatan mental, menunjukkan bahwa perjalanan dapat menjadi bentuk terapi yang menyenangkan dan mendukung aspek sosial serta spiritual. Melalui pendekatan tafsir Al-Qur'an dan analisis konsep-konsep tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan wawasan baru dan mendalam terhadap hubungan antara agama, perjalanan, dan kehidupan sehari-hari, dengan implikasi signifikan pada tingkah laku wisatawan dan pengelola destinasi

    Effectiveness of Behavioristic Counseling with Modeling Techniques to Minimize Cyberbullying Behavior in Students

    The aim of this research is to confirm the effectiveness of behavioristic counseling with modeling techniques in minimizing cyberbullying behavior carried out by students. This research uses a pretest-posttest control group design experimental approach. The subjects in this research were 8 students who attended State Senior High School 3 (SMA Negeri 3) Mataram. Data was collected using a Personality Scale in the form of a questionnaire developed based on indicators of cyberbullying behavior. Data analysis uses one-way Anova statistics. The results of this research reveal that behavioristic counseling using modeling techniques is effective in minimizing cyberbullying behavior. The forms of cyberbullying behavior that can be minimized well in this research are verbal cyberbullying behavior such as insulting behavior using bad words, and spreading rumors to embarrass one's friends

    Let’s MOVE: Empowering Emerging Adulthood Lives with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Training for Greater Well-Being and Self-Compassion

    Emerging adulthood is a transitional phase characterized by instability and uncertainty, which can lead to psychological distress among individuals transitioning from high school to adulthood. This study utilized an experimental design to assess the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) training in improving subjective well-being and self-compassion. We recruited 18 emerging adults, specifically those who had recently graduated from high school, with 8 individuals in the experimental group and 10 in the control group. The training comprised four sessions, each lasting two hours. The Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) were used for measurement. Data analysis using independent sample t-tests indicated significant improvements in subjective well-being and self-compassion in the experimental group compared to the control group. The effects of the intervention remained strong at the 3-week follow-up. These findings suggest that ACT training is effective in enhancing subjective well-being and self-compassion among emerging adults experiencing psychological distress

    Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya kesadaran kualitas Kesehatan mental pada rmeaja Dimana permasalahan tersebut dapat memicu munculnya prilaku beresiko, prilaku beresiko memunculkan hal-hal negatife yang disebut dengan kenakalan remaja yang notabennya harus dihindari pada remaja. Menurut WHO terdapat 10 perilaku berisiko pada remaja antara lain konsumsi alkohol, perilaku diet, NAPZA, kebersihan diri, stres, aktivitas fisik perilaku seksual, merokok, kekerasan, perlindungan diri. Oleh sebab Tujuan pengadaan PKM ini tentang penguatan kualitas Kesehatan mental terhadap prilaku beresiko di SMA Ma’arif 1, Metro, Lampung sangat urgen untuk dilakukan. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode SL (Service Learning). Service Learning yaitu Pendekatan pembelajaran dengan menekankan pada aspek praktis dengan keterlibatan mahasiswa dan masyarakat atau komunitas dalam pelaksanaannya. Adapun metode penelitian ini meliputi: tahap persiapan yang terdiri dari observasi, wawancara kepada guru, penyampaian strategi, dan penyuluhan materi, tahap pelaksanaan yang terdiri dari pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialis yang diawali dengan pendekatan dan pendampingan masyarakat, tahap evaluasi penilaian kegiatan yang telah dilakukan. Hasil pengabdian ini nantinya adalah remajat mampu memahami menjaga kualitas Kesehatan mental terhadap prilaku beresiko dengan baik

    Factors Influencing the Language Politeness Behavior of The Z Generation

    Language politeness has different standards in every country and even in different regions due to cultural varieties. Thus, factors influencing politeness are also various. The study aims to identify the dominant and pre-dominant factors influencing the language politeness of the Z generation. Nine independent variables were investigated in this study, including gender, school background, discipline, tribe, intensity using social media, intensity adding a comment in social media, semester, and province, as the dependent variables, while the language politeness of the Z gen was the independent variable. The research samples were 1354 students from 3 different provinces, South Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, and West Sulawesi, selected through random cluster sampling. The instruments in this study included an instrument of factors determining politeness developed by the researchers using a categorization instrument, and Politeness Behavior on Communicating developed using the Likert model. The instrument had been evaluated using EFA and CFA tests, and showed that the model was fit. Data were analyzed using MANOVA continued with the Least of Significant as (LSD). Research findings show four factors influencing language politeness, namely tribe, the intensity of writing comments in social media, provinces, and types of universities. The findings also show that in Indonesia, language politeness is still dominated by factors of culture, religion, and social media. The language politeness of the Z Generation is not only a self-identity in social life but also an image in the virtual world

    Social Support and Self-Esteem as Predictors of Psychological Well-Being of Generation Z Students

    There are some generation Z students at college X in Kupang who have low psychological well-being, thus a study was conducted that aims to determine social support and self esteem simultaneously as predictors of psychological well-being of generation Z students at college X Kupang. This study uses quantitative methods and data collection using Ryff's Psychological Well-Being Scale, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale distributed via google form to respondents who have met the predetermined criteria.  The number of respondents involved was 150 respondents consisting of 40 men and 110 women. The results showed that the Fcount (simultaneous) value was 227,207 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05) this result proves that there is a simultaneous influence of social support and self esteem on the psychological well-being of generation Z students at college X in Kupang with a coefficient of determination of 0.756 meaning that the contribution of the influence of social support and self esteem on psychological well-being is 75.6% the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study

    How Background Influences School Counselors' Career Calling: A Preliminary Study

    This study explores the variations in career calling among school counselors based on ethno-socio-demographic backgrounds, such as ethnicity, religion, employment status, age, and gender. Utilizing a comparative research design, this study involving 95 school counselors analyzes how these factors influence the level of career calling among counselors. The findings indicate that while there are differences in career calling between groups, these differences are not statistically significant. These results highlight that career calling develops through a complex interaction of intrinsic and extrinsic factors and is not entirely dependent on formal variables such as education or employment. This research makes a significant contribution to the literature on career calling, particularly within the context of school counselor professionalism in Indonesia, and offers valuable insights for the development of more inclusive policies and intervention programs

Difficulties like this are experienced by all educators and a joint solution is needed to deal with the problem of children who lack focus and are not interested in learning and tend to get bored. The lecture method that is widely used by educators is considered outdated and boring. Educators must be willing to innovate and be creative to make students interested in listening to the explanation of the material provided. The Cooperative Learning method, which focuses on children's social and communication processes, enables children to express their opinions well and sharpen children's social skills to be even better

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari bagaimana siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Bumiratu Nuban, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, dipengaruhi oleh kebiasaan shalat Dhuha dan Dhuhur berjamaah. Studi kasus kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Siswa dan pendidik dari SMP Negeri 1 Bumiratu Nuban adalah responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa shalat Dhuha dan Dhuhur berjamaah memiliki efek positif pada karakter siswa. Siswa yang secara teratur melakukan shalat ini cenderung memiliki karakter yang lebih baik, termasuk disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian terhadap sesama. Mereka juga melihat peningkatan konsentrasi dan keberkahan saat belajar
