Next, we introduce to the public about plastic waste that can be used as fuel oil. The target of this activity is the community of one Padamulya, Cihaurbeti District, Ciamis Regency. This activity was attended by all regional leaders and the community. The expected result is that plastic waste produced by households can be used as fuel oil and reduce plastic waste in Padamulya village. Furthermore, training activities are carried out regularly so as to make the village healthy and economically independent
Influence of Instrumental Motivation and Integrative Motivation on English Learning Outcomes
Get PDFThis research addresses students’ motivation in influncing learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to describe the students’ condition of motivation in learning English whether it tends to be integrative or instrumental and the extent to which their motivation in learning English may influence students’ learning outcome. This research was conducted based on principles of qualitative research. The researcher conducted an online interview to collect the data. The mid-term test grade are used as the learning outcome. Data gained in the interview and Mid-term test grade were compared and then analyzed it descriptively. Population of this study are students at grade nine. It is about 29 students in a class. The result performs that students in learning English were motivated by both instrumental and integrative motivation. That is motivation to have wider social contact with target language speakers and also motivation to utilize English as a tool to gain certain goals like good grade or future goals. Based on the findings, it is suggested that the teacher should able to motivate the students’ in learning through developing his/her teaching materials concerned with integrative and instrumental motivation to motivate students’ in learning Englis
How to Teach English to Children Early on

To properly implement learning management, the teacher, who is a part of the learning process manager, must be aware of the early childhood thinking framework (AUD). Learning should be controlled to produce engaging and fulfilling learning activities. To make learning English for young children meaningful and enjoyable, singing (song) is used as a teaching tool. Children can be engaged in learning English by using a variety of approaches, tactics, games, and learning resources that will make them feel like they are playing rather than learning. Even the local culture can be useful for making learning enjoyable for AUD. The topic of learning English for AUD, in general, and through singing, in particular, will be covered in this article. A positive attitude toward learning English will keep AUD from being disinterested, dissatisfied, or even terrified by it

Get PDFIn changes the values of life skills that occur in the Bugis ethnic fishing community, Karang Village, Telukbetung Timur District, Bandar Lampung City as local wisdom are due to incompatibility between the rules that are lived by the behavior they carry out, the weak role of social institutions in conducting supervision and socialization. The values of life that are framed in the activities of Bagang in the next generation are low in interest and the next generation to apply the values of life of the Bugis ethnic in overseas lands in their interactions among family members, the community as well as in the development and implementation of the Bagang activity. This study aims to determine the description of local wisdom in the process of educating the value of the life of the Bagang fishing community (read; Bagan) of the Overseas Bugis ethnicity in Karang Village, Teluk Betung Timur District, Bandar Lampung City. The method used in this research is descriptive analytical research with a qualitative approach that functions to describe and explain a complex reality by applying concepts and theories that have been developed by scientists.Based on the results of the research and analysis, it was found that (1) the pattern of punggawa fishermen\u27s families in preserving local wisdom in overseas lands by inculcating life skills values was more likely to be participatory education patterns. This pattern tends to emphasize the process of the child\u27s association with other punggawa or sawi who are more mature in developing their potential by providing maximum opportunities for achieving independence in living their lives. (2) The sawi family in the process of preserving local wisdom by instilling life skills values their education, tends to use a repressive pattern from older family members to younger family members, either directly or indirectly. Consequently, those with low education are positioned as people who accept the values of local wisdom in the lower class social strata. (3) The process of applying the life skills values of punggawa or sawi as local wisdom in the Bagang fishing community of the overseas Bugis ethnic in the Karang City Village area occurs because of the community\u27s desire to survive with their existence as a fishing community that is unique with its traditions

Human Rights Violation in the Manifestation of Indonesia\u27s Inefficacious Covid-19 Policies Towards the Lower Socio-Economic Class
Get PDFIndonesia’s surging number of Covid-19 positive cases may be happening due to its own manifestation through implementing ineffective laws which then led to the resurgence of the policy crisis. Indonesia is deemed to have failed in handling the overwhelming pandemic. The imbalance of emergency fund allocation between the recovery of the economy and health sector also conveys Indonesia’s top priority. Policies made by the state also prove its failure in accommodating vulnerable people especially those who live in poverty. The application of the top-down policy affects those with financial insecurity then also burdened by extraordinary crimes such as corruption of social assistance mid pandemic. To implement an adequate policy which can respect, protect, fulfill, it is important to address poverty affected by covid policies through the lens of human rights, whether it is violated or fulfilled. The use of recent studies, official data, laws, policies, and human rights approaches will help indicate how people living in poverty are still marginalized of their rights to adequate standards of living pre and midst pandemic. Moving forward, those who live in poverty must live free from discrimination and stereotypes such as lazy, unlucky, undeserving, etc. which contributes to the exclusion and exploitation of this vulnerable group. This research will seek poverty as a human rights issue, it will show how this vulnerable group has been the victim of injustice and demand accountability. Through proper analysis, these findings will also set out appropriate and applicable solutions for the well-being of this group mid and post pandemic.
INFLUENCE OF MANAGEMENT COMPETENCE, UTILIZATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT ON ACCOUNTABILITY OF MANAGEMENT OF BOS FUNDS WITH TRANSPARENCY AS A MODERATING VARIABLE (Study on SMAN and SMKN in Aceh Selatan District)
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to examine the effect of manager competence, utilization of information technology and stakeholder involvement on the accountability of BOS fund management with transparency as moderating. The study used a quantitative approach with the census method. The unit of analysis in this study was SMAN and SMKN in Aceh Selatan Regency, which were 38 schools with principals, treasurers, school committees and teachers as respondents. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 152 respondents. The results of the study indicate that the competence of managers, utilization of information technology, stakeholder involvement and accountability simultaneously affect the accountability of BOS fund management. Then, partially manager competence, use of information technology, stakeholder involvement, and transparency have a positive effect on the accountability of BOS fund management. Furthermore, transparency is able to moderate the relationship between the competence of managers and accountability for managing BOS funds. Transparency is able to moderate the relationship of stakeholder involvement to the accountability of BOS fund management. However, transparency is not able to moderate the relationship between the use of information technology and the accountability of BOS fund management

Systemic Risk is the Risk that has the overall effect on the Risk of another. Systemic Risks of Islamic stock issues are discussed in this study. This study analyzed whether there is any significant relationship between individual Risk (Value at Risk) in Islamic stocks with systemic Risk. Systemic Risk is calculated using the Conditional Value at Risk (CoVaR) with an estimated Quantile Regression Model (QRM). Based on the data processing results, the stock with the highest Value at Risk is PT Astra Agro Lestari, Tbk (AALI), whereas the stocks with the highest systemic risk value are PT. Astra International, Tbk (ASII). This indicates no significant relationship between the Value at Risk and Systemic Risk
