    Comparison of Projected Unit Credit, Entry Age Normal, and Individual Level Premium Methods in Calculation of Normal Retirement on PNS Pension Funds

    Every individual’s desire for a prosperous old age lead to the need for a pension fund program to ensure the welfare of every employee in their old age. The calculation of pension fund in this study was carried out using the Projected Unit Credit, Entry Age Normal and Individual Level Premium methods. This study aimed to determine the value of normal cost and actuarial liability using Projected Unit Credit method, Entry Age Normal method, and Individual Level Premium. Then the best method was determined based on the comparison results of the normal cost value and the actuarial liability value obtained using the three methods. The data used in this study is secondary data from PT Taspen (Persero) KCU Bandung. The results showed that the best method among the three methods studied was the Projected Unit Credit method because it produced the highest total normal cost with the lowest actuarial liability value each year

    A cooperative is a business entity consisting of individuals and legal entities that is based on the principles of kinship and economic democracy and is a means of increasing economic progress for cooperative members and the community. This research aims to determine the influence of Store Atmosphere on consumer purchasing decisions at the XYZ Bandung Cooperative. Several members explained that the reason for reducing purchases of goods at the XYZ Cooperative was because they felt that some goods were not given enough attention, such as whether the goods on display were still suitable for consumption or not, communication of information either through social media or information boards was still not working well, the prices of goods were not high. expensive and less affordable for members and other consumers to buy. The research method used was quantitative, the sampling technique used probability sampling and a sample of 43 domestic and foreign tourist respondents was obtained. The analytical tool used was simple regression analysis and the hypothesis used a significance test using the SPSS analysis tool. The results of this research explain that the Store Atmosphere has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions at the XYZ cooperative and several dimensions of the Store Atmosphere such as the exterior, store layout and interior appearance have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions at the XYZ cooperative. There needs to be more attention from the management of the XYZ cooperative in paying attention to the shop atmosphere so that consumers, especially members, can increase their purchasing decisions at the XYZ Cooperative

    Optimizing E-Loyalty on The Bukalapak E-Commerce Platform: Exploring the Role of E-Service Quality Mediated by E-Satisfaction and E-Trust

    This study aims to analyze and prove the effect of e-service quality on optimizing e-loyalty mediated by e-trust and e-satisfaction on the Bukalapak e-commerce platform by focusing on Bukalapak users in Cirebon City. This research focuses on the use of Bukalapak, where there are still many complaints felt by Bukalapak users regarding long delivery, the Bukalapak help center cannot be contacted, and the pay later payment service is never late but the payment status is pending. These indications can be seen from user reviews published on several news sites. Sample determination was carried out through a purposive sampling technique. In this study, the sampling technique was carried out using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance level of 10%, so that the number of respondents was 100. Respondents were selected based on the criteria of having used Bukalapak e-commerce services for the last 5 months and being domiciled in Cirebon City. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires online via Google Forms. Path analysis technique using SPSS Version 29.0.2.0 for Windows. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Sobel test method. The results showed that e-service quality has a positive and significant effect on e-trust, e-satisfaction, and e-loyalty. E-satisfaction and e-trust have a positive and significant effect on e-loyalty. The results of this study also show that e-satisfaction and e-trust can mediate the effect of e-service quality on e-loyalty. Keywords:  E-commerce, E-service quality, E-satisfaction, E-trust, E-loyalt

    Analysis of the Effect of Hard Skills, Soft Skills and Self Efficacy on the Quality of Human Resources in Universities in Region 3 Cirebon

    This study aims to analyze the influence of Hard Skills, Soft Skills, and Self-Efficacy on the quality of human resources (HR) in higher education in region III Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia. This study used 283 samples from 3 universities in region 3 Cirebon. the research methodology uses quantitative, using multiple linear regression analysis to test the relationship between independent variables (Hard Skills, Soft Skills, and Self-Efficacy) with the dependent variable (HR quality). The findings from the research indicate that: 1. Hard skills have a significant positive impact on HR Quality, as evidenced by a t-count of 3.996, which exceeds the t-table value of 1.968. 2. Similarly, Soft skills also exert a significant positive influence on HR Quality, as shown by a t-count of 3.420, surpassing the t-table value of 1.968. 3. The influence of Self Efficacy on HR Quality is also positive and significant, as indicated by a t-count of 6.132, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.968. 4. Furthermore, the combination of Hard skills, Soft skills, and Self Efficacy collectively has a substantial positive effect on HR Quality, as demonstrated by an F-count of 151.383, which is higher than the F-table value of 2.64. These observations were made in the context of universities located in the Cirebon region. The implications of this study are significant for higher education institutions in Cirebon region III, as well as for broader education and human resource management practices. The findings underscore the importance of developing both Hard Skills and Soft Skills among university students, in addition to developing a positive self-efficacy mindset. This comprehensive approach to human resource development can lead to improved human capital quality, which is critical for economic and social development in the region

    The Role Of CEO Altruism in Moderating The Relationship of Workload and Work-Related Fatigue with Employee Retention in Furniture Manufacturing Small and Medium Enterprises

    Chief Executive Officer (CEO) altruism as the behavior of small and medium enterprises’ (SMEs) CEOs to improve employee welfare that it is not stated in employment agreement is believed to play a role in increasing retention in employees. This study aims to examine the extent to which the role of CEO altruism in moderating the relationship of workload and work-related fatigue with employee retention of rattan industry companies. Respondents in this study were 250 employees of rattan SMEs in Indonesia. Data were collected through surveys by distributing paper-based questionnaires to employees spread across several rattan SMEs. Using moderated regression analysis techniques by SPSS, this study found that workload and work-related fatigue have a negative impact on employee retention. Furthermore, this research also found that CEO Altruism successfully moderated the relationship of workload and employee fatigue with employee retention

    This article explores Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in a globalized and innovative economy, looking specifically at the challenges and opportunities. The establishment and expansion of new firms provide a sizable amount of net new jobs. While high-expectation entrepreneurial enterprises and gazelles are usually found among innovative and technology-based new organizations, it is also essential that there be a sizable supply for them to play a significant part in economic growth. In other words, encouraging all forms of entrepreneurship is likely to increase the number of innovative, fast-growing enterprises as well as entrepreneurship. In many European countries, entrepreneurship needs to be encouraged. Findings show the crucial role the SME sector plays in the South African economy in tackling sustainable development. About 90% of all official firms in South Africa are thought to be small, medium, or micro-enterprises. The study concluded that one of the major contributions to the South African economy is the SME sector. The SME is not just viewed as a source of new jobs, but also as a sector that absorbs laid-off workers from both the private and public sectors

    Earnings quality reflects how much the company\u27s profits are presented in accordance with the company\u27s circumstances in that year. The better disclosure is done by the company would affect greater quality of profits owned by the company. This caused by the concept of transparency. Segment information is needed by users of financial statements to see the economic characteristics of each segment within the company. The dependent variable in this study is earnings quality, the independent variables are leverage, profitability, liquidity, and company’s size. This research is a type of quantitative research using companies’ financial statements. Total samples collected are 70 financial statements comes from 14 company. The sampling method is purposive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that leverage, profitability, and firm size partially affect earnings quality. Meanwhile, liquidity has no effect on earnings quality. The leverage, profitability, liquidity, and company size simultaneously affect the earnings quality in the hotel, restaurant and tourism sub-sectors listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period

    Identification of Students’ Comprehension of Radiation Concept Using Rasch Analysis

    This community service was conducted using a survey method. The survey aimed to test the understanding of high school students regarding the dangers of radiation exposure from the surrounding environment. Participants in this activity were 48 students (35 science students and 13 social science students) from a high school in Majalaya, Bandung Regency. The instrument used was a two-tier diagnostic test consisting of 4 essay questions related to physics concepts concerning radiation exposure. The analysis of the test results was divided into two parts: conception analysis and Rasch analysis. The conception analysis was done by interpreting students\u27 answers and categorizing them into five conception categories: Full Understanding (FU), Partial Understanding (PU), Misconception (MC), Not Understanding (NU), and No Coding (NC). This categorization was presented in percentage form. The Rasch analysis was conducted based on the distribution of students\u27 answers and item bias detection to identify the spread of students\u27 answers to each question item and the biases present. First, the conception analysis results showed that 53% of students were included in the FU category, while only 5% were in the Not Understanding (NU) category. This indicates that students\u27 understanding of the dangers of radiation exposure is quite good, as more than half of the participants are in the FU category. Second, the Rasch analysis results based on the distribution of students\u27 answers showed that more students could answer basic comprehension questions compared to classification and analysis-based questions. Additionally, the Rasch analysis results based on item bias detection indicated that there was no gender or academic major bias in the four question items

As a school that has quite good quality, MAN 5 Tasikmalaya is required to provide maximum guidance to students in choosing college majors according to their interests and talents. It is hoped that MAN 5 Tasikmalaya students can discover their academic interests and talents from an early age so that they can make a decision on the right college major. appropriate. Good coaching will certainly be very beneficial for the future of students. This research aims to analyze the guidance for selecting college majors carried out at MAN 5 Tasikmalaya in helping students determine study programs that suit their interests and talents. The research results show that the coaching carried out by MAN 5 Tasikmalaya is quite effective in helping students determine their college major according to their interests and talents. However, the quality and quantity of coaching needs to continue to be improved by involving various internal and external parties at the school. The more optimal the coaching is, the more MAN 5 Tasikmalaya graduates will choose the right college major based on their interests and talents, so that they can achieve success in the future
