Risk Prediction and Estimation of Corporate Product Claim Reserve Funds in Insurance Companies Using the Extreme Value Theory
Every human action involves risk, and in the insurance industry, customer claims are the biggest risk that companies face. This risk must be managed effectively through claim prediction, especially for corporate products. This research analyzes the risk of claims at insurance companies using the Extreme Value Theory (EVT) method, which can estimate extreme risks. Identification of extreme values in claims data is done through the EVT approach, namely Block-Maxima (BM). Generalized Extreme Value (GEV) distribution parameter estimation is performed, followed by prediction of claim risk using Value at Risk (VaR) and estimation of claim reserve funds. The results show that the GEV approach with a 95% confidence level is most suitable for predicting claim risk. Based on these results, the company requires a claim reserve fund of IDR 100,798,248,000 to deal with potential losses due to extreme claims

Green Economy, Technology, People and Industrial Tourism (Get Points)
Rapid technological and economic advancement has resulted in the proliferation of environmentally detrimental products and consumption patterns, significantly impacting the environment. Plastic pollution has emerged as a critical environmental concern, with Indonesia ranking fifth among the world\u27s largest plastic waste producers. Annually, Indonesia generates approximately 7.8 million tons of plastic waste, of which 4.9 million tons are inadequately managed. For an extended period, Indonesia relied on a linear economic model characterized by a "take-use-dispose" approach. However, a transition towards a circular economic model is currently underway. In response to the significant environmental challenge posed by plastic waste pollution in Indonesia, the government has strategically introduced the Green Economy initiative. This innovative framework, an integral component of Indonesias 2025-2045 Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN), is founded upon a robust and balanced approach that prioritizes three core pillars: economic prosperity, social equity, and environmental sustainability. In response to these challenges, the researchers devised the "Get Points" program, an acronym for Green Economy, Technology, People, and Industrial Tourism. This program was implemented at Ekowisata Cimenteng, located in Cipageran, North Cimahi District. The primary objective of this initiative is to address plastic waste management concerns while simultaneously fostering economic growth within local communities and among stakeholders. The program was executed through an outreach methodology, accompanied by pre- and post-tests for evaluation purposes. Comparative analysis of the pre- and post-test results revealed a notable increase in participant comprehension of plastic waste management issues. This enhancement was achieved through the integration of financial management seminars, digital marketing workshops, and 3D printing workshops, thereby facilitating economic growth for Ekowisata Cimenteng, local communities and stakeholders

Factors Influencing the Human Development Index in Indonesia Using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square
HDI is a benchmark for a country in achieving human development in the country. Indonesia is a developing country with a relatively increasing HDI value every year. This shows that the efforts made by Indonesia are going well. However, Indonesia experienced a decrease in HDI value in 2019 towards 2020, due to restrictions on activities caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the HDI value in each province in Indonesia is uneven, even from the publication data of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows a significant difference in HDI value between provinces in Indonesia. So that evaluation and improvement are needed to be able to equalize and stabilize HDI in Indonesia. HDI value can be influenced by several factors including economy, education, and health. This study aims to determine the direct effect of economic variables on HDI, the direct effect of education variables on HDI, the direct effect of health variables on HDI, the indirect effect of education variables on HDI through economic variables and health variables. The data used in this study are data on the Human Development Index of economic, education and health variables along with the indicators that measure them, from 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2022. This study applies SEM-PLS to determine the factors that influence the Human Development Index (HDI). The results of this study indicate that economic variables and education variables have a direct influence on the Human Development Index (HDI), while health variables have no direct influence on the Human Development Index (HDI). Then the education variable through the economic variable has an indirect effect on the Human Development Index (HDI), and the education variable through the health variable has no indirect effect on the Human Development Index (HDI)
