Transnational Sufism and Charismatic Vernacular Based Teachings in Medieval Sub-Continent
The word vernacular refers to everyday language, the customized expressions that used by the people of a particular region. The vernacular is different from official or literary language. It is the way people really talk with each other, i.e. families talk at home. Vernacular in Sufism belongs to a mechanism through which the religious teachings and communications adapted in local regional environments despite Arabic language (a literary language).
The doctrines of Tasawwuf and its practices were influenced into sub-continent have a long history. The first Sufi saint arrived in sub-continent at the closing of the 11th century. The Sufi saints accompanied with them the religious loyalty, devotion, enthusiasm and piety. They became the Ambassadors of social harmony and cultural integrity in sub-continent. They have contributed immensely in favor of the philosophy, Literature as well as theological ideas. In Sub-continent, the credit of “vernacularization” of Islam and Sufism for the most part goes to these Sufi saints. They challenged the Arabo-Persian linguistic dominance by providing literature concerning belief in divinity in vernacular dialects and languages, as a main stream of these Sufi saints depended less on Persian and Arabic in favor of making accessible to the general public by presenting the Sufi message in an understandable form. Sufi saints kept occupied the medium of vernacular poetry for disseminating the message of Tasawwuf towards the inhabitants. The prime objective of this article is to distinguish and analyze the impact of Tasawwuf campaign in sub-continent in the perspective of vernacularism. I have used in this research article two research methodologies one is the descriptive and the other is analytical. The secondary source materials have been consulted as main sources for writing this research article

مذہبی سیاست کے تناظر میں جمعیت علماء اسلام کی انتخابی سیاست کا تنقیدی جائزہ: A Critical Analysis of Electoral Politics of JUI in Context of Religious Politics
In the field of politics, it is very important for the parties to awaken the political mindset in the community in order to accept their constitutional manifesto, because it is impossible to choose the right leadership unless there is awareness among the people about politics. Religious political parties, like other political parties, are at the forefront of raising awareness of political thought in the society by ensuring manpower through their manifestos. Religious parties have been successful in mobilizing any section of the population to vote. In religious political parties JUI is famous parties which was established in 1945. Allama Shabbir Ahmad Usmani is the founder of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam. He has always struggled for the implementation of Islam since the establishment of Pakistan. JUI is distinguished from other religious parties in terms of success and activity and Jamiat members have been raising the issue of implementation of Islam in the parliament. In the constitutional and legal context, it is important for political parties to participate in elections according to the prevailing electoral political system in Pakistan and to try to shape the state according to their mission after gaining power in the country. Achieving government through unconstitutional measures always leads to failure. At the same time, its representation in the House through electoral politics and its role in resolving national issues is also important. In this article electoral politics of JUI was reviewed
Influence of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Rates and Remittances on Islamic Financial Institutions Growth and Progress in Developing Economies
This study determined what major macroeconomic factors impacted the growth of the IBs sector in Pakistan. The IBs sector has developed rapidly in recent years, particularly in Pakistan, where it ranks among the top industries in the Islamic world. Two macroeconomic variables were examined to determine whether macroeconomic factors significantly impacted Islamic finance growth: the rate of new empirical theories and the volume of settlements. ARDL model and annual data were used for every variable between (2014-2023) in the study. Based on the long-run ARDL analysis, remittances have a greater impact on Islamic banking growth than foreign direct investment (FDI). Both foreign direct investment and remittances have a significant impact on the long-run development of IBs in Pakistan, with remittances having a greater effect than FDI direct investment. While Islamic and non-Islamic banks compete with each other, their presence in a country provides an adequate structure for rigorously motivated individuals and contributes significantly to its financial sector growth. Remittances provide a more reliable source of funding for Islamic banks, as they are typically less reliant on external borrowing. Additionally, remittances are more likely to be spent on investments that benefit the local economy, whereas FDI benefits foreign investors. All in all, remittances are a significant source of revenue for Islamic banks, as they offer a more immediate and sustainable benefit to the local economy
Investigation of the Dimensions and Measurement of Compensatory Consumption Behavior at Different Scales
This paper uses a quantitative research method to explore the structural dimensions of compensatory consumption behavior. Based on the compensatory consumption theory and existing research results, the connotation and structure of compensatory consumption behavior are analyzed, and a measurement scale containing five dimensions is developed through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The study shows that compensatory consumption behavior includes five dimensions: symbolic, enhancement, hedonic, emotional recovery, and resilience, with a total of 26 questions. The scale has been tested to have high reliability and validity, providing a powerful tool for evaluating compensatory consumption behavior. Although this study strives to be rigorous in its methodology, there are still some limitations. First, compensatory consumption behavior is diverse and complex. This study only covers some typical dimensions, and more potential dimensions can be further explored in the future. Second, although the sample selection is representative, it is limited by resources and social relationships. Future research can expand the sample source to enhance the universality of the conclusions. Finally, this study focuses on the measurement of compensatory consumption behavior. In the future, it can be combined with specific situations and individual differences of consumers to further explore its occurrence mechanism and market impact
Evaluating the Effect of Toxic Leadership on Workplace Bullying in the Different Sector of Gujranwala: Mediated-Moderated Model of Employee Silence, Psychological Wellbeing and Employee Voice
This study investigates the impact of toxic leadership on workplace bullying across multiple sectors in Gujranwala, Pakistan, emphasizing the mediating effects of employee silence and psychological well-being, as well as the moderating function of employee voice. A systematic survey was conducted with 384 employees from various industries, and the data was analyzed using structural equation modeling. The findings show that toxic leadership has a significant impact on workplace bullying, with employee silence and psychological well-being acting as essential mediators. Contrary to predictions, employee voice did not moderate the association between toxic leadership and bullying, implying that the impact of toxic leadership is widespread, regardless of employees' willingness to speak up. These results demonstrate how organizations can reduce workplace bullying and enhance employee well-being by addressing toxic leadership and fostering a positive work environment
Muhammad Asad’s Concept of An Islamic State
Mohammad Asad (originally Leopold Weis) acquired popularity as a diplomat, writer, journalist, social critic, linguist, translator of the Qur'an and author of one of the most outstanding inspirational autobiographies. He was a totally dedicated Muslim whose life purpose was the cultural, intellectual, and spiritual awakening of the world's Muslims. Islam became his life's plan in order to attain these goals. However, he favoured the presidential style of administration because he believed it would more closely adhere to the requirements of an ideal Islamic state. The purpose of this study is to examine his concept of an Islamic state in light of his renowned book, Principles of State and Government in Islam
Comparative Analysis of Deep Learning Architectures for Customer Churn Prediction in the Banking Sector
Customers’ churn is a critical problem for the banking industry since the prediction of customers’ attrition impacts the business’s key outcomes and decision-making. As such, the research aim of this study is to assess the performance of different deep learning networks in the context of customer churn rate estimation with banking datasets. This study specifically compares feedforward neural networks, long short-term memory networks, convolutional neural networks, and multi-layer perceptrons. We train and test the models on a data set that includes customer details such as credit score, age, balance, and tenure. Hence, we measure each model’s ability depending on factors like accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score, and the ROC-AUC. However, for the evaluation of the models, we use various visualizations, including confusion matrix, receiving operating characteristic curve, precision-recall curve, and learning curves. The results show that all models can achieve comparable performance, but there are some models with specific edges. For example, long short-term memory networks, a type of RNN, excel at modeling sequential relationships in the data, whereas convolutional neural networks craft intricate structures within the data input. This work's main ideas include examining the characteristics and potential of various deep learning designs in the context of customer churn prediction while comparing the architectures. The primary goal of this study is to analyze and identify the most effective deep learning model for customer churn prediction, as well as provide recommendations for banks to improve customer retention. Thus, the results emphasize the importance of selecting an adequate model based on the data's characteristics and prediction goals. It is in this vein that the study proposes to advance the understanding of the deep learning models above with a view to informing banking institutions on how best to address customer churn problems
