قرآن کریم کی تعلیمات میں حلال وحرام کے اصول: The principles of Halal and Haram in the teachings of the HolyQuran
Summary
The principles of Halal and Haram in the teachings of the Qur'an hold significant importance for human welfare and well-being. These principles guide individuals to lead a pure life, free from impurity and harm. The aim of this research is to analyze the principles of Halal and Haram in light of two key Qur'anic verses, highlighting their jurisprudential and scholarly aspects. Dr. Wahbah al-Zuhaili's Al-Munir and Mufti Shafi' Usmani's Ma'ariful Qur'an serve as the foundation for this study. Both exegeses hold a distinguished position due to their comprehensiveness, authenticity, and clarification of Qur'anic teachings. The first verse emphasizes the importance of consuming Halal and pure food and expressing gratitude for Allah’s blessings, while the second provides details on forbidden items and their legal rulings. Dr. al-Zuhaili comprehensively addresses various jurisprudential details regarding the importance of Halal food, the principles of using forbidden items in emergencies, and the rulings on Islamic slaughter. He also presents well-reasoned views of scholars on the types of animals in land and sea, the parts of carrion, the prohibition of pork, and the avoidance of impure substances. Explaining the wisdom behind the prohibition of Haram items, he clarifies that they are detrimental to human health and spirituality. Ma'ariful Qur'an presents the principles of Halal and Haram with clear, accessible jurisprudential reasoning, covering everyday issues such as the status of blood, animal by-products, and imported European goods. Both exegeses provide a profound scholarly and practical understanding of how to live in accordance with Shari'ah, offering detailed guidance on the rulings of Halal and Haram
Leveraging social exchange relations to anticipate turnover among emotionally exhausted flight attendants
Emotional exhaustion, inherent to flight-attendants’ occupation, leads to their turnover posing a significant cost of rehiring and training. Literature extensively investigates the causes of flight attendants' turnover, but have not explored how their workplace exchange relationships unfold during the period between their decision to leave and their actual departure. Study results indicate a significant inclination (64%) among emotionally exhausted flight-attendants to consider leaving their jobs, with surface acting intensifying this effect (71%). Consequently, their contributions to TMX and LMX decrease by 36% and 41% respectively. While turnover intentions may not always be expressed, the observable decline in TMX and LMX can act as early warning. These declines allow managers to intervene in a timely manner and possibly prevent employee turnover

تحریک استشراق کےعلامہ شبلی نعمانی پر اثرات: سیرۃ النبی کا خصوصی مطالعہ: Effects of Orientalism on Allamah Shibli Nomānī: A Special Study of Sirat-ul-Nabi
This article mainly discusses the effects of orientalism in Sirat-ul-Nabi the renowned book of Allamah Shibli Nomānī. Allama Shibli Nomānī's Seerat-ul-Nabi is considered one of the best biographical books in Urdu language and is well-known among the people of Indo-Pak but there is some distinctiveness at many places in his book which scholars have pointed out. Even his disciple Syed Sulaimān Nadvī has also specified the wrongness of his position at a few places. This negation is also necessary because if the predecessors’ sayings, inferences, and arguments are against the Book and Sunnah or the Ummah, then it should not be hidden, but it should be exposed in view of Al-Dīn al-Naṣīḥaḥ. This should be revealed with honesty and this work is even more important and necessary than new writings. If this duty is not fulfilled, a section of the Ummah will suffer great harm because there are thousands of people who follow these greats and the People are unable to discriminate between right and wrong, so they start imitating mistakes along with good words and its influence spread in the entire nation. Therefore, under this purpose, these matters have been described, otherwise the stature of Allamah Shibli Nomānī is very high and will always be. However, clearing up misconceptions regarding the life of Allah's Messenger is more crucial. Furthermore, it will censoriously examine Allamah Shibli Nomānī's opinions regarding several fundamental characteristics of Sirat-ul-Nabiﷺ

The c.677C>T polymorphism in the MTHFR gene associated with hypothyroidism
Methyl tetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) catalyzes the formation of tetrahydrofolate from folate. Mutation in the MTHFR gene may be the potential cause of hypothyroidism. We aimed to assess the genetic association of c.677C>T and c.1298A>C polymorphisms in the MTHFR gene with hypothyroid and hyperthyroid conditions. We registered 100 participants; 50 were clinically diagnosed with thyroid dysfunction and a control group of 50 individuals. All the samples were analyzed for serum TSH, T3, and T4 values. DNA was extracted and PCR was carried out to amplify exon 4 and 7. Restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) was performed for genotype C677T and A1298C alleles and confirmed by sequencing. Serum values confirmed that 32/50 patients were with hypothyroidism and 18/50 with hyperthyroidism. Genotyping data showed no deviation from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium in the three groups. The c.677C>T polymorphism was found significantly associated (pvalue=0.021) with hypothyroidism while no significant association (p-value=0.365) with hyperthyroidism. The genotype data of allele c.1298A>C showed no significant association with hypothyroidism (p-value=0.324) and hyperthyroidism (p-value=0.303) patients. This study concludes that c.677C>T polymorphism in the MTHFR gene is possibly associated with hypothyroidism in Pakistani thyroid disease patients and can be a potential genetic marker for early risk assessment

Jurisprudential Perspectives and the Role of ‘Urf in Regulating Debt and Deferred Payments: A Sīrah-Based Study of Gold and Silver Transactions in Islamic Finance
This research provides a jurisprudential analysis of debt and credit within Islamic finance, addressing fundamental differences between Islamic and conventional banking. Unlike conventional banks utilizing fractional reserve banking and direct cash lending, Islamic finance employs asset-based transactions, facilitating financing through acquiring, leasing, or selling assets. This Shariah-compliant approach, while mitigating risk, generates distinct jurisprudential challenges. This study examines core concepts: Qard (benevolent loan), Dayn (debt/credit), and Nasi'ah (deferred payment), distinguishing between benevolent loans and commercial credit, thereby highlighting the prohibition of Ribā (interest). It analyzes complex transactions involving fungible goods, particularly gold and silver, clarifying the permissible use of paper currency in deferred payments. Furthermore, the study explores the role of 'Urf (custom) in shaping financial practices and its influence on applying Shariah principles. The research affirms the impermissibility of late payment penalties as Ribā, recommending Shariah-compliant alternatives: renegotiation, asset repossession, guarantees (Kafālah), and pledges (Rahn). By analyzing common practices like gifts, lending, leasing, speculation, and participatory contracts, this study clarifies how Islamic banking manages financial transactions ethically. This research aims to provide scholars, practitioners, and policymakers with valuable insights promoting ethical and equitable financial dealings within the Islamic financial framework, offering a detailed review of these mechanisms' function in daily economic and financial activities. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of Shariah-compliant finance, offering practical guidance for navigating the complexities of modern financial transactions while adhering to Islamic principles
Economic Sustainability of Compelled Classes: In the Light of Sēraẗ Ṭayēbah (SAW)
This article aims to describe the financial support for the sick, disabled and constrained people in the light of Sēraẗ Ṭayēbah ﷺ in Islamic society. Actually human society has been consisting of the two types of different temperaments people, one of negative tendencies and other is constructive trends. People of destructive tendencies always exploit others for their own economic benefits and ravage the society. While the constructive minded people replaces this spoiler system by prosperous economic and ethical norms. The prophets are the only pardons who, on the basis of God gifted message set these noblest traditions in a society, and then their followers have continued this system. This type of society encourages the preaching and acceptance of Islam.
If we look at the economic and social conditions of our country, there is a long list of constrained people in the society. These forced people are of two types, one is those whose entire life is spent in a state of compulsion. Among them are beggars, the poor, the needy, the unemployed, the daily wage laborers, rickshaw pullers, peddlers, men and women working in someone's house, office workers, widows, Old people, children and those who are in need do not ask questions in front of anyone. The second type of compulsion includes people who are not really compelled but are entitled to help because of a bad situation, such as a person who was injured while traveling and deserves help to return. I got entangled and jailed, as well as a business person who went bankrupt due to a business deficit, or a person who has young daughters and due to low income sources to perform their marriage duties. Unable to do so, or a patient who was not compelled in terms of resources but the hefty fees and expensive medicines of hospitals and doctors forced him to live a life of compulsion in illness, similarly, a prisoner who was subjected to the irony of circulating night and day and was imprisoned for some reason inside or outside the country. Similar to other people who fell victim to compulsions. These classes are an integral part of human society, so a welfare Islamic society ensures the protection of all their financial and moral boundaries. In this regard, our religion Islam has a great superiority over the rules of all other religions. Whether it is the teachings of the Holy Prophet or the teachings of the Holy Qur'an, an important aspect of them is that they emphasize moral and financial support to the oppressed more than they emphasize worship
