The Introduction of Halal Sustenance, Sources, Obstacles and their Remedy
Islam is a comprehensive and complete code of life. Islam presents praiseworthy and manifest instructions for all walks of life. By following these instructions human beings can make their lives better; in this world and hereafter too. Among these Islamic teachings, acquisition of lawful sustenance is extremely valuable. Use of legitimate sustenance is highly essential and it is an important condition for the acceptance of all types of worships. Therefore, according to Islamic Shariya, it has been ordained to eat and use only allowed and purified edible things and to avoid completely using and eating forbidden, unlawful and unhygienic things. All the Prophets and Messengers have also been enjoined to eat and use things which are purified and allowed in Islamic Shariya. Lawful sustenance creates positive effects on human beings’ mood and health while illegally gotten sustenance create negative effects and there will be no spiritual development. Moreover, every person who had violated the divine injunctions in this regard; he or she will have to face its bitter consequences; in this world and hereafter too. What is meant by lawful sustenance? How can any person cognize and recognize lawful sustenance? Which are its various forms? Which are illegitimate and unethical sources of income? Which are the hindrances in the way of earning legal money and what could be its dispensation? In the light of teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah, all these issues have been discussed in this article

Youth Personality Development and Self-Purification: Islamic Educational Principles in Contemporary Context: نوجوان نسل کی شخصیت سازی اور تزکیۂ نفس: عصرِ حاضر کے تناظر میں اسلامی فکری و تربیتی اصولوں کی معنویت
The youth represent the future of any nation and serve as the foundational pillars for its intellectual, moral, and spiritual development. Their holistic upbringing is essential for the formation of a healthy and progressive society. In the contemporary era, young people face a multitude of challenges, including moral decline, psychological stress, spiritual emptiness, and an identity crisis. The overwhelming influence of social media, consumer culture, Western ideological dominance, and the weakening of traditional family and educational structures have significantly impacted their character and worldview. As a result, key aspects of personality development such as self-awareness, value-based decision-making, and a clear sense of purpose are gradually eroding. In such a context, the comprehensive development of youth must address both external capabilities like communication skills, confidence, and leadership and internal purification of the soul, known in Islamic thought as Tazkiyah al-Nafs. This dual approach ensures that young individuals are not only intellectually and professionally capable but also morally grounded and spiritually conscious. This study explores the potential of youth training through the integrated lens of Islamic teachings and modern psychological theories. The findings reveal a significant research gap, particularly in addressing this topic with a specific focus on the youth age group, in culturally relevant contexts, and with the inclusion of spiritual dimensions. Given the complexity of modern-day challenges, there is a pressing need to develop a balanced and comprehensive training model that harmoniously blends Islamic values, ethical development, and psychological insights, thus enabling the emergence of a morally upright, emotionally balanced, and socially responsible generation
Transition to a More Sustainable Food System
The current animal-based food systems account for a significant portion of the world's carbon dioxide emissions, placing the planet on a path to 2.7 C warming by the end of the century. The current food systems have demolished more value than they added because of hidden medical and environmental costs, which essentially entail taking value from the future to earn profits now. A shift to an environmentally sustainable (plant-based) food system can bring an estimated $10 trillion in benefits annually by raising human health and reducing the impact of climate change. A shift in the food system can be difficult politically. Still, it can yield immense economic and social benefits and is envisioned to. Changing diets and investing in new technologies can increase efficiency and reduce emissions. This transition can limit global warming and the amount of nitrogen run-off from agriculture. The primary issue with the food transition plan is that food prices would increase.
As Editor-in-chief of the Pakistan Journal of Economic Studies, I invite academicians to research the constraints and cost-effective ways of this critical and need of the time transition
Bir-Hima: Civilizational Features in the Light of Historical Findings
The Hima civilization is located at the momentous trade and commercial junctionat western region of Najran in Saudi Arabia. Najran is one of the ancient populoussites in the country that is enriched with historical and archaeological evidencesdiscovered in a variety of historical sites ranging from the prehistoric Stone Agethrough the Islamic period. The Bir- Hima Complex chronological period is from2500 to 1000 BC. It was a primary road for merchants, militaries and Hajjpilgrimage for the presence of sparkling water wells. Caravans; mostly fromsouthern sections of desert; such as; Mesopotamia, Levant and Egypt wereaccustomed to stop over at Bir- Hima. Besides, this historical route was also usedby commercial caravans from Greece and Rome, owing to which countenance ofbirth of new notions and intellectual advancement in the area was surfaced. Infact, it was oldest known toll station in Arabian Desert. This site is a hub ofhistorical-cultural evidences which brings into light several traits of pre Islamicand afterwards cultures. The land and its surrounding area are as well enrich inunexcavated archaeological resources, including that of cairns, stone buildings, interments, stone tool scatters, and old wells. In the light of above argument, thisarticle attempts to underscore distinguish civilization traits of Bir- Hima throughhistorical findings. This is historical narration of the civilizational features of Bir-Hima site

Smart Health Monitoring System for Pregnant Women of Rural Regions
Enhancements in healthcare capabilities improve living standards in the current era. Human capital is vital in technologically advanced and developing countries. In developing countries, maternal deaths occur due to a lack of medical facilities and infrastructure. The death ratio in pregnant women due to lack of medical facilities in advance and developing countries is 9:1. Most developing countries have poor medical information systems, which causes pregnant women to have very few routine check-ups in the early stages of their confinement. This results in an increased death rate of infants and maternal in backward regions. This is nowadays a major health concern for pregnant women of rural regions in developing countries like Pakistan. Existing medical approaches for such issues consist of devices and wired sensors which are very costly. Ultrasound examinations are performed using Bluetooth devices as well. But these approaches are costly and not easily available in backward regions. The proposed framework helps to solve this issue using wireless technology. The physical movement of a fetus as well as maternal are measured using commercial-off-the-shelf sensors. These sensors consist of an accelerometer, temperature sensor, and heart rate sensor, and blood pressure. Sensor data is forwarded using IoT to the mobile phone. Mobile phones transmit the collected data to the cloud for processing, analysis and results, and storage.
The proposed work helps in providing a low-cost method of movement of the fetus and bodily parameters of pregnant women of rural regions in developing countries. The proposed system provides better care using IoT and commercial off-the-shelf sensors
Prediction Of Water Quality Using Effective Machine Learning Techniques
One of the most vital natural resources for all earth's living things is water. Life's fundamental need is access to clean water. Water quality has substantially declined over the previous few decades as a result of pollution and numerous other problems. In this study, machine learning (ML) algorithms are developed to predict water quality and water quality classification (WQC). For the prediction of water quality classification, six machine learning algorithms Naïve Bayes, Random Forest (RF), Gradient Boosting (GBoost), K-nearest neighbor (K-NN),Logistic Regression (LogR), and Decision Tree (DT), have been used. The models were evaluated based on 16 parameters. The machine learning model’s result demonstrates the Random Forest model out performed than the other models
Application Layer Issues and Challenges in Supply Chain 4.0
Computer networks have improved throughout time and are now more suited to meet contemporary demands, but this evolution has also led to a rise in network risks and assaults. As computer networks aid in the secure and effective movement of data, they also store sensitive information that might be useful to persons and groups outside the network who would want to steal it and use it for their own ends. This might lead to serious network security concerns and vulnerabilities. Supply Chain 4.0 is one of the most emerging phenomena derived from the IR 4.0 that includes the applications of (Internet of thing) IoT, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN’s) and robots to collectively work and develop a productive environment. Supply chain was mostly a manual and hectic process but with the modern communication and network advancements it is being introduced to more extensive digitization where IoT and advances networking approaches are being carried out. This article highlights the majority of issues, challenges of the application layer in supply chain 4.0. Moreover, the respective attacks targeting specific application layer protocols are stated in detail along with the limitations of the current work with the required research development is also mentioned
