The basic Discourses of the Orientalists in Hadith criticism: نقدِ حدیث میں مستشرقین کے اساسی مقدمات

    No full text
The formal study of the intellectual heritage of Muslims by Orientalists began during the colonial era and continues today. The Orientalists who have gained fame in this field focus on the Quran, Hadiths, biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and Islamic jurisprudence. The opinions of the Orientalists who have presented their studies on the subject of Hadith vary and differ in many places, while there is agreement among them on some aspects. If we look at these agreed upon issues, it becomes clear that these are the issues on which Orientalists have based their arguments, which have given rise to misunderstandings and doubts in the Muslim and non-Muslim worlds. Muslim scholars have provided a comprehensive answer to all the objections and doubts of Orientalists regarding hadith, and their writings contain such scholarly gems that, after coming to light, there is now a slight change in the Orientalist approach to the study of hadith. It is important for those interested in the biography and character of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his teachings to know the basic supplications that every orientalist has taken into account in the criticism of hadith. To fulfill this need, this article presents such unanimous cases found among Orientalists and critically analyzes them from an academic perspective in the light of Islamic thought

This study examined the situation concerning the privatization of schools in the province of Punjab, as well as the significance of government schools and the effects of privatization. A self-prepared questionnaire was used to gather teachers’ opinions on school privatization. For this purpose, one thousand and thirty-two instructors from the School Education Department were selected for the study, conducted across thirty-six districts of Punjab. A quantitative research approach was used, with data analyzed through SPSS using an independent samples t-test, and further examined through frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations. The results revealed information on the perceived value of government schools and the potential effects of privatization. Significantly, government schools were found to play a vital role in the realm of education. Teachers suggested rationalizing teacher placement based on student-teacher ratios and emphasized the need for a well-informed policy. The results also indicated that only non-performing schools with fewer than 50 enrollments should be privatized, and that other privatization strategies should be reconsidered within the public-school reorganization program. By negotiating the details of education privatization and its effects on educational fairness and quality, this research offers valuable insights for stakeholders and policymakers

دور الفقه الإسلامي في ضبط حرية التعبير على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي: The Role of Islamic Jurisprudence in Regulating Freedom of Expression on Social Media Networks

    No full text
This study examines the role of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh al-islāmī) in regulating freedom of expression on social media platforms in the modern digital age. While freedom of speech is recognized as an essential human right, Islamic law emphasizes that this right must be exercised within ethical and legal boundaries to protect individual dignity, social harmony, and the preservation of faith and morality. The research highlights that classical fiqh principles—such as the prohibition of slander, backbiting, spreading falsehood, and incitement to hatred—remain relevant for addressing challenges like cyberbullying, misinformation, and harmful digital content. At the same time, fiqh encourages constructive dialogue, accountability, and the responsible use of knowledge in the public sphere. By integrating traditional jurisprudential frameworks with contemporary issues of digital communication, the paper argues that Islamic fiqh provides a balanced approach: safeguarding freedom of expression while preventing its misuse in ways that harm individuals and societies in the global digital environment

AI-Driven Banking: Advertising, Brand Loyalty, Trust and Customer Experience

    No full text
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed advertising by allowing brands to interact with customers on a real-time personalised basis. It enables real-time data-driven targeting and automated decision making. In the Pakistan banking industry, AI-driven advertising's impact on brand loyalty, as well as the mediation of customer experience and the moderation of trust in AI, were studied in this study. Drawing from the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) model and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the study examines how the introduction of AI technology triggers consumer behavior through an emotional and cognitive lens. A structured questionnaire having pre-standardized scales has been employed for quantitative study. The study collected data from 350 consumers who regularly use AI-based banking services. Statistical analyses of regression, mediation, and moderation were performed to study the interrelations of the variables. The findings diverge from much of the existing literature that supports AI’s personalization capabilities as a driver of loyalty. Possible explanations include cognitive dissonance when expectations from AI ads are unmet, lack of emotional resonance, consumer resistance due to privacy concerns, and the multi-dimensional nature of brand loyalty. These results suggest that while AI may create initial engagement, it lacks the depth required to foster lasting loyalty, especially when perceived as impersonal or misaligned with consumer expectations. The study confirmed that trust in AI significantly moderates the relationship between AI advertising and customer experience; however, the moderation effect was negative, meaning higher trust reduced the positive effect of AI on experience. This contradiction can be explained through expectation-disconfirmation theory, where consumers with low trust are more easily impressed, while high-trust consumers face disappointment if AI performance doesn't meet their elevated expectation

Relative Scarcity of Economic Resources: From Islamic Economics Perspective

    Get PDF
The research article aims to explore the concept of relative scarcity in conventional economics, which is considered as the foundation of so called economic problem. Both capitalism and socialism, in spite of their vigorous fundamental differences in economic thought like; economic freedom, ownership of the resources, decision making power, government interference and wage price flexibility etc., do coincide on the issue of relative scarcity. Paradoxically , Islamic economic system based on the revealed knowledge of Quran and Sunnah refutes this concept and assures that the amount of natural resources is not only sufficient but they are created exactly in precise measure to fulfill the economic and materialistic needs of mankind. So, economic problem based on relative scarcity does not have any empirical evidence to show its authenticity. The researcher has reached the conclusion after a thorough discourse of arguments from both side; conventional and Islamic economics that the resources are in abundance and perfect measure at the disposal of humans. It is not the relative scarcity of the resources, but the miss- allocation of resources and mischievous and greedy human behavior who mishandle the resources are the major reason to create economic problem. Hence, the economic problem can easily be addressed and solved by following the divine instructions of Islamic economic thought mention in Quran and Sunnah
