The intensification of negative trends in human thought gives rise to elements such as narrow-mindedness, extremism, violence, and rebellion, which disrupt societal peace. This attitude of intolerance, narrow-mindedness, and extremism ultimately leads to the taking of each other's lives. This is what is called a breach of peace, or in other words, terrorism.Terrorism is the armed form of extremism, aiming to achieve its specific goals by creating fear and terror among the general public. The causes of terrorism include social injustice, societal evils, unfair distribution of wealth, poverty, lack of education and healthcare facilities, food shortages, unemployment, deprivation of other basic necessities of life, lack of national leadership, and linguistic, sectarian, and religious conflicts and riots. Islam is a religion of peace, and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the Prophet of Mercy. His exemplary character, his pronouncements, his treaties with various nations and tribes, and his sermons—in short, all these documents are the most comprehensive, universal, and enduring charters of peace and human rights. They transcend the temporal, political, and contemporary levels, providing humanity with a permanent and enduring foundation for peace, human rights, and the protection and respect of the law.Even today, if we are dreaming of combating terrorism on a global scale and establishing peaceful, welfare societies, we must seek guidance from the character of the Prophet of Peace ﷺ

Religion plays a significant role in human life, to believe in higher spiritual beings is a natural phenomenon of all humans. Islam and Christianity are two main and major religion of the world. The core distinction between them lies in their concept of God, Muslims believes in an absolute, singular in all aspects, all-knowing, and all-powerful God called “Allah,” known as "Tawhid" (the oneness of God). In contrast, Christians believes in a triune God, consisting of three distinct God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all co-equal and co-eternal in their Divine essence. This doctrine, known as the “Trinity,” evolved over centuries and is formalized and articulated in the Nicene Creed While Islamic belief is the foundation of whole religion called Islam from the very beginning of its inception. This article explores the arguments made by Nabeel Asif Qureshi, a former Ahmadi who converted to Christianity. Qureshi claims that the Christian Trinity does not contradict monotheism but instead represents a complex unity of three being. He critiques towheed and rejects the oneness of Allah Almighty by giving biased theological arguments. Similarly, his defense of trinity also relies heavily on philosophical reasoning. Moreover, His portrayal of Towhed and Islamic theology is shaped by his former Ahmadi perspective, which doesn’t represent or reflect mainstream Islamic interpretations This article critically reviews Qureshi’s biased interpretations and arguments, aiming to uphold the true essence of Tawhid

    No full text
This research paper explores the thematic coherence and interconnected arrangement of the Mathani and Mufassalat surahs in the Quran, focusing on their sequential placement and meaningful connections. The study examines how the arrangement of these surahs reflects a deeper thematic structure, shedding light on their interrelation within the Quranic compilation. Recognizing that Muslim scholars widely consider the mushaf order to be tawqifi (divinely ordained), this research delves into the underlying wisdom behind the sequence of surahs. By utilizing Muhammad Idris Kandhalvi’s exegesis Ma'arif al-Quran, this study critically analyzes his interpretations to uncover the deeper semantic links between adjacent surahs in the Mathani and Mufassalat sections. The research aims to contribute to a broader understanding of the Quran’s structural unity, demonstrating how the thematic arrangement reinforces the Quranic message. Through Kandhalvi’s insights, this paper offers a fresh perspective on the harmonious composition of the Quran and the intentional organization of its surahs

Al-Burhān fī ‘Ulūm al-Qur’ān  by Imām Zarkashī (d.794 A.H.) is the foremost trend setting book of the Qur’ānic Sciences. In this book, the eminent Shāfi‘ī jurist Imām Zarkashī not only delineates the 47 topics of Qur’anic Sciences along with their core doctrines but also introduces several topics for the first time in systematic manner. Likewise this book pioneers the discussion of Tafsīr and Ta’wīl as an independent subject for the first time. Prior to this, such discussions were dispersed across various prefaces of Qur’anic Commentaries. In this discussion Allāma Zarkashī not only articulated the philosophy of Tafsīr and Ta’wīl in a systematic manner but has also provided detailed discussions on other principles and fundamentals, which emphasizes the depth and significance of this discourse. This definitive discussion on Tafsīr and Ta’wīl has been organized by Allāma Zarkashī on a unique ijtihādī methodology, demonstrative of his scholarly distinctiveness. The contents of this discussion include the literal and terminological meanings of Tafsīr and Ta’wīl, their differences, sources and various aspects of Tafsīr, the essential sciences necessary for an exegete and numerous lexical discussions of the Qur’an. Allāma Zarkashī has also documented the diverse aspects of inference through these core linguistic principles, in Tafsīr al-Qur’an, elucidating them with exegetical examples. This seminal discussion, reflecting Imām Zarkashī’s diligent insight, serves as a primary source for Tafsīr discussions in subsequent literature of Qur'anic Sciences and Tafsīrī Principles

The Personality of Jesus (PBUH) in View of the Bible and Qur'an: An Analytical and Comparative Study

    Get PDF
This research paper presents a comparative and critical study of the personality of Jesus Christ (Hazrat Isa A.S) as depicted in the Bible and the Quran. In Christian theology, as reflected in the New Testament, Jesus is revered as the Son of God and the Savior of humanity, embodying divine qualities and possessing a central role in salvation history. Conversely, Islamic teachings, as presented in the Quran, recognize Jesus as a prophet and messenger of God, emphasizing his human nature and his role within the broader context of Islamic monotheism. Further, this study explores the similarities and differences in the portrayal of Jesus' birth, miracles, mission, crucifixion, ascension and descent of Jesus Christ across these religious texts. Most scriptures of both religions acknowledge his miraculous birth and significant spiritual contributions, but they diverge in their views on his divinity, sonship, trinity crucifixion, and resurrection. The paper aims to provide a nuanced understanding of these perspectives, contributing to interfaith dialogue and a deeper appreciation of the theological distinctions and commonalities regarding Jesus in Christianity and Islam

Quranic-Inspired Scientific Discoveries: A Focused Study of Professor Dr. Muhammad Akram Chaudhry's Views

    Get PDF
This study investigates the enduring semantic stability of the Quranic text over 14 centuries, contrasting it with the semantic drift observed in other languages and religious texts. Drawing upon the scholarly work of Professor Emeritus Muhammad Akram Chaudhry, a prominent scholar of Quranic studies, this research examines the claim that Quranic vocabulary has maintained a consistent relationship between word and meaning throughout its transmission. This study explores the implications of this alleged semantic stability for understanding the Quran's relationship with scientific discoveries and natural laws. It analyzes selected Quranic verses related to natural phenomena, comparing classical and contemporary interpretations to assess the extent to which these interpretations have remained consistent over time. The research further considers the argument that a significant portion of the Quran (approximately one-fifth, according to Chaudhry) pertains to the laws of nature, exploring how this claim informs our understanding of the Quran's enduring relevance. By examining the interplay between linguistic stability, scientific interpretation, and the Quran's focus on humanity and the natural world, this study aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the Quran's unique status and its enduring impact
