Poor Pakistan or Pity Pakistan: A Power Play of Patronage, Politics, and Payola in the Global Scenario Policy and Religious Implications
The exercise of patronage politics with massive implications has been widespread often with turmoil. The system of political appointments started off from olden times where a political party, after assuming power gave government jobs to its supporters as an incentive for functioning towards triumph, rather than on merit. There is a history of so many “Ps” in Pakistan for more than six decades. This article explored poor or pity state - the existence, indicators, current situation, effects and consequences of patronage in Pakistan - and the way out. Political patronage contradicts Islamic values of justice, merit, and accountability, as it promotes nepotism and corruption, undermining the state's obligation to serve all citizens fairly. In an Islamic governance framework, public office is a trust that must be granted based on capability and integrity. Patronage politics therefore weakens the moral and functional foundations of a just society as envisioned in Islam.

This paper examines the importance of slogans for political mobilization in Pakistan, focusing on the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) during the period specifically from 2013 to 2018. PTI, under the leadership of Imran Khan, effectively utilized impactful slogans such as “Naya Pakistan” and “Tabdeeli” to bring people on road against the earlier dominant political parties. These slogans were related to the party’s core promises of providing fair justice, anti-corruption practices, and economic reforms. سرزمین شام میں خانہ جنگی کے اسباب اور مہاجرین کے مسائل: ایک تحقیقی وتجزیاتی مطالعہ: Causes of Civil War in Syria and the Challenges Faced by Refugees: A Research Analysis
Greater Syria was a collection of sacred Islamic countries before the era of colonialism, which included Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, and present-day Syria. Present-day Syria is now referred to as "Syria," which was under the influence of the Byzantine government before Islam. However, during the time of Umar ibn al-Khattab, all the cities of Syria were brought into the fold of Islam. The land of Syria was a center for the political and religious activities of various prophets before the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which is why Muslims, Jews, and Christians—all people of the Book—consider this land sacred. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) declared Syria to be a source of goodness and blessings for the Muslim Ummah, and in the blessed Hadiths, he described signs that indicate Syria will hold religious and political significance in the world before the Day of Judgment. In the present era, Syria and its neighboring countries are plagued by conflicts, influenced by American and European conspiracies aimed at weakening the military power of Arab countries and fracturing the Muslim Ummah. From the very beginning, the destruction of Syria has seen a significant role played by Jews and Christians, as they consider Muslims their enemies and are making every effort to establish their authority in Syria. In this context, present-day Syria has been completely devastated, and millions of Muslims have migrated to other Islamic and non-Islamic countries. Initially, this paper analyzes the Islamic history of Syria and examines it according to the Quran and Hadith. Continuing with this analysis, it provides a comprehensive overview of the current devastations in Syria, such as political instability, sectarian violence, civil war, and the tyrannical rule of Hafiz al-Assad and Bashar al-Assad.It also sheds light on the migration of Muslims and their issues. Thus, the aim of this research paper is to clarify the political and religious status of Syria in light of the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, and to present the difficulties and problems faced by contemporary Syrian refugees, so that an accurate reflection of the situation in the region can be achieved
Methodological Approaches of Contemporary Seerah Writings in the West: An Analytical Study
Western perspectives, which view and portray Eastern religions and cultures through a biased social framework, often perpetuate stereotypes and misconceptions about the Islamic world. In the contemporary era, Western writers have introduced new perspectives and analytical frameworks to the study of Seerah. Western methodologies have evolved and adapted to the changing dynamics of global interactions and the complexities of cultural exchanges. The study of the Seerah (biography of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) by Western scholars has been a significant area of academic interest. They have approached the Seerah with various methodologies that often reflect their distinct cultural, intellectual, and sometimes ideological perspectives. This article explores the predominant methodologies employed by western writers, such as the historical-critical method, comparative study, and textual criticism. The historical-critical method analyzes the authenticity of Islamic sources, while textual criticism focuses on the evolution and transmission of Seerah texts. The comparison method involves evaluating different sources or perspectives side by side to identify similarities, differences, and underlying patterns; these methodologies lead to skepticism about established Islamic traditions. Critical analysis of these methodologies identifies the biases, evaluates their credibility, and enhances knowledge that provides insights into the complexities of interpreting historical texts

The majority of Jurists and Muhadditheen considered their deeds and saying as the most reliable sources of interpretation and explanation of the Qur'an. In the same way through which Ummah received the Hadith, the sayings and actions also been received. Jurists agreed that deeds and sayings of companions are actually deeds and sayings of the Prophet. Hadith books contain a large collection of the sayings and actions of the Companions. The jurists clarified the authenticity and legal status of the deeds and saying of the Companions. Regarding legislative status it will first be seen whether the other Companions contradict it or not. If there is no contradiction, it will be followed. If there is, it will be seen whether those who oppose are superior in knowledge and grace or not, if they are, their opinion will be preferred, otherwise that opinion will be accepted. Similarly, if there is conflict between opinion of Companion and Qiyas the opinion will have priority and Qiyas will be abandoned
