A Research Analysis of Imam al-Bukhari’s Term: "Munkar al-Hadith" in Al-Tarikh al-Kabir: التاریخ الکبیر میں امام بخاریؒ کی اصطلاح :" منكر الحدیث" کا تحقیقی جائزہ
The Holy Qur’an is a divine book that serves as a source of guidance for all of humanity. Its practical interpretation is found in the blessed sayings (Ahadith) of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The preservation of these Ahadith was taken up by Allah Himself, who, in every era, appointed exceptional individuals who played a pivotal role in safeguarding them. On the other hand, the enemies of Islam have always tried to attribute falsehoods to the Prophet ﷺ in an attempt to weaken the very foundations of Islam. However, these chosen servants of Allah established such a strong and meticulous scholarly system that distinguishing truth from falsehood became possible. To serve this purpose, the science of Asma' al-Rijal (biographical evaluation of narrators) was developed. This discipline investigates the reliability, truthfulness, and weaknesses of the narrators of Hadith. In this field, scholars of Hadith engage in Jarh wa Ta’dil—the critique and validation of narrators—and present various scholarly opinions to determine the credibility or weakness of a narrator. Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) is considered one of the foremost experts in this science. His book Al-Tarikh al-Kabir has been a valuable reference for scholars of every era. In this work, Imam Bukhari uses several terminologies while commenting on narrators, one of the significant ones being "Munkar al-Hadith". This research paper explores the meaning and implication of this term according to Imam Bukhari: what kind of criticism he intends by using it, and how other scholars of Jarh wa Ta’dil have used and understood this term. These questions form the central discussion of this study
الظواهر الصوتية في مرويات مدرسة البصرة اللغوية في تهذيب اللغة للأزهري (الإبدال أنموذجا) : The Phonological Phenomena in Basran Linguistic Transmissions through Al-Azhari’s Tahdhib al-Lughah (Ibdāl as a Model)
Language transcends being a mere assemblage of symbols; it constitutes the very soul of a civilization, and phonology represents its dynamic pulse. In the formative centuries of Islamic civilization, the city of Basra rose not only as a strategic frontier but as an epicenter of intellectual and linguistic innovation. The Basran school of grammar distinguished itself through rigorous analytical methodologies and an unwavering dedication to linguistic purity. It systematically codified the Arabic language, integrating theoretical precision with a robust oral tradition. Eminent scholars such as Al-Khalil ibn Ahmad—pioneer of Arabic prosody and compiler of the earliest Arabic lexicon—and his illustrious disciple Sibawayh, author of the foundational grammatical treatise Al-Kitab, epitomized this scientific endeavor. This article explores the Basran linguistic legacy through the lens of Tahdhib al-Lugha by Al-Azhari, a seminal lexicon that not only conserves lexical data but also encapsulates the phonetic and philological insights characteristic of the Basran tradition. The study is structured in two principal sections: the first offers a theoretical and historical contextualization of the Basran school and Al-Azhari’s lexicographical methodology; the second provides an analytical examination of pivotal phonological process—ibdāl (systematic phonetic substitution). By tracing this phenomena, the article reveals the Basran scholars’ meticulous attention to phonetic nuance as a mechanism for ensuring linguistic clarity, textual integrity, and aesthetic precision
Mapping the Drivers of Women’s Health Empowerment Disparities: Evidence from Pakistan

Utilizing Islamic Religious Studies Curriculum in Nigerian Universities to Achieve 21st Century Skills in the Country
Islamic Studies is a subject taught at all levels of education in Nigeria. The curriculum aims to produce religious scholars primarily for work in mosques. The objectives of Islamic Studies in Nigeria, outlined in the National Policy of Education (NPE), are to instill morals and spiritual consciousness in students and to enable them to apply other knowledge for the benefit of humanity. However, the current curriculum has not fully addressed the NPE's objectives. As a result, graduates of Islamic Studies are primarily relevant in religious contexts, lacking the necessary skills for success in the 21st century. To address this, the curriculum in Nigerian universities needs to be reviewed to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, making Islamic Studies graduates relevant in a modern context characterized by global competition, cooperation, information growth, and a service economy. By aligning the curriculum with these demands, the study of Islamic Studies in Nigerian universities can become more attractive, relevant, and enterprise. A qualitative analysis of the current Islamic Studies Central Curriculum in Nigerian universities revealed the need for improvement to strike a balance between religious and mundane life. Moreover, the study found that Islamic education has the potential to address socio-political, economic, and ethical challenges in contemporary Nigeria if properly integrated into the curriculum. Therefore, it recommends an all-inclusive curriculum to achieve 21st-century skills in the country
حفظان صحت میں مصنوعی ذہانت اورربوٹکس کے کردار کی اخلاقیات: The Role of Ethics in the Use of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in Health Management.
Abstract
Artificial intelligence and robotics have created new possibilities in health management, such as improved checkups, personalized treatment, and increased surgical accuracy. However, their use raises several critical questions, including concerns about patient privacy, the responsibility for human errors in diagnosis and treatment, and the impact of technology. This introduction addresses these issues for reflection and considers the progress of robotics in health management from a moral and human perspective.
Robotic surgery offers many advantages, one of which is the ability to perform productive analytics in health management, allowing for the prediction of a patient's future health. This capability aids in the timely detection and treatment of diseases. However, this topic also presents some fundamental problems. The increased use of technology can reduce the human connection between doctors and patients, which is essential for empathy and moral care. Furthermore, robotics technology may not be accessible to all, potentially leading to inequalities in health management due to the high cost of robotic surgery instruments and technology. Additionally, the use of robotics and AI may affect employment, which is a significant social issue.
In light of these points, it is necessary to promote the role of AI and robotics in health management with moral responsibility. This is an advanced and important topic that not only concerns the ongoing advancements in the physical world but also the moral problems these advancements present. Addressing these issues is crucial

قبیلہ ثقیف اور شہر طائف: ایک علمی و تاریخی مطالعہ: The Thaqif Tribe and The City of Taif: A Scientific and Historical Study
The Thaqif tribe and the city of Taif hold significant importance in the political history of pre-Islamic and early Islamic Arabia. The Thaqif tribe, known for its warrior culture, resided in Taif, a prosperous city located near Mecca. Taif was a key economic and strategic center due to its fertile lands and its control over important trade routes. Politically, the Thaqif tribe was strong and maintained independence in pre-Islamic times. During the rise of Islam, the tribe resisted the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) message and took part in conflicts against the Muslims, including the Battle of Hunayn. Despite initial resistance, Taif was eventually besieged by Muslim forces, though it remained defiant until 9 AH (630 CE) when the Thaqif tribe finally embraced Islam. After accepting Islam, the Thaqif tribe became integrated into the Islamic state and played a role in the expanding Islamic empire. The city of Taif continued to grow in importance during the Caliphate era, both as a trading hub and as a strategic military post. The political history of the Thaqif tribe and Taif reflects the broader transitions in Arabia during the emergence of Islam, from independent tribal politics to integration within a unified Islamic polity
The Kalasha Pantheon: Unveiling the Spiritual Heritage of an Ancient People
The Kalasha people are the small tribe of indigenous people living in the isolated valleys of Chitral, Pakistan, who have kept the ancient polytheistic faith in an overwhelmingly Islamic region. This article is my humble step forward to highlight the diverse and indeed colourful spiritual realm of the Kalasha people via their dominant gods, their ceremonies, and their shrines. Starting with the general information concerning the Kalasha community the article goes through the mountain spirits and prehistoric religious belief systems that formed the basis for the Kalasha’s beliefs and values. Some of the basic deities like Dezau – the Creator God, Sajigor of the Rumbur Valley, Mahandeo, the Kalasha guardian deity and other guardian deities like Dezalik and Jestak who are considered to be the protectors of women and families are also considered here. It goes on to do so by discussing the guest god Balumain and enigma like deities Praba and Warin to underline the sophistication of the Kalasha spiritual system. These should be seen as aspects and measures of a cosmology which is genuinely nature-based, community-oriented, and spiritual. Though the Kalasha religion gives the best accounts of the ancient beliefs and practicing culture, the faith is under severe pressure as it comes in contact with other cultures and civilizations. Due to this, in this article, I hope to give a clear explanation of the Kalasha pantheon and why this area of spirituality is important, as well as the reason that they should be saved before they disappear completely
Factors Influencing the Online Shopping Buying Behavior of Consumers in Pakistan: An Exploratory Study
The goal of this study was to examine the effects of various factors on customers' online shopping buying behavior. E-commerce has made life easier and more innovative for people. Online shoppers don't behave like they would in a physical store where they could touch, examine, and then purchase the goods. The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is employed to identify the factors that influence online purchasing behavior. The audio-recorded interviews were conducted for data collection. The sample size was 12 consumers from Sahiwal who used online platforms for doing online shopping. NVivo 14 software has been used for data analysis of conducted interviews. Many methodologies, such as Coding Nodes, Word Tag Clouds, and Word Tree Maps have been employed to validate the study's various themes. The key determinants affecting online shopping were found to be promotions, comparison, time sensitivity, accessibility, attitude, trust, and advertisements on social media. The results disclose the most common practices that consumers adopt when purchasing products online via various platforms. The characteristics found in this study are few, and additional factors may have an impact on consumers' shopping habits. Future studies can examine the effects of other product categories, online retailers’ characteristics, and other environmental factors. This study did not explore the association between risk and online shopping intention. Therefore, future research could expand on this aspect to examine the impact of perceived risk on customers' online shopping intentions. The study has implications for online stores and consumers in Pakistan. Consumers in Pakistan are looking for promotions, comparison, time sensitivity, accessibility, attitude, trust, and advertisements on social media. Retailers should work on these issues and concentrate on making it simple to shop online. With the remarkable progress of e-commerce in Pakistan, there is a crucial need to recognize the factors that affect consumers spending online. The findings of this study can aid online merchants and vendors in creating their marketing strategies much more effectively because there are so few studies conducted in the setting of Pakistan. Our findings could assist large companies in implementing e-commerce strategies more efficiently
