    Human Trafficking is Contemporary Form of Abuse in Pakistan (A Survey Study of Irregular Immigrants to Europe from District Bahawalpur)

    Human trafficking is frequently attributed to factors like poverty, globalization, and economic inequalities between nations. Slavery's modern equivalent is human trafficking. The fight against human trafficking may be effectively carried out through international law. The UN Convention against International controlled crime is one of most respected and contemporary pieces of international legislation that has paved the way for how to identify, stop, and prosecute human trafficking. Pakistan has been mentioned as a significant cause, transition and terminus state for human trafficking and smuggling of the migrants, indicating a major sector and associated criminal economy. The current study focuses on examining how irregular migration from district Bahawalpur Pakistan, to Europe in specific, and to other EU member countries overall, is being assisted and coordinated via agents and social networks. Since Pakistan is reportedly one of the top ten nations which associated in illegal immigration to EU in contemporary years, irregular emigration become a substantial problem for Pakistan. Pakistan is regarded a transit country for migrant groups travelling from different South Asian nations to places like Iran, Turkey, Greece, Central Europe, and Western Europe. This paper also considers three aspects of immigrants and their family’s ambitions towards illegal immigration. Primary, money transactions are seen as an extensive family welfare source. Their primary concern are giving their Pakistani families a good lifestyle. Second, after spending more time in Europe and being financially secure, many have strong desires to move back permanently to Pakistan. Third, some migrants have expressed a wish to get official documentation. The current paper makes recommendations for more scholarly investigation to increase methodological and theoretical understanding of illegal immigration or agent links in the perspective of Pakistan to European States

    Designing a Framework for Peaceful Resolution of Transgender Violence in Pakistan

    Gender-based violence and transgender harassment are prevalent social issues in Pakistan, with the term "Hijras" being used to describe the transgender community. They are often stereotypically viewed as shameful and disgraced, and their lives are impacted by issues such as HIV-AIDS, sexual abuse, rape, drug abuse, beggary, suicidal thoughts, and psychological unrest. Although government recognition of the transgender community has been made, the implementation of these laws and ordinances is slow. This study aims to address these unreported and under-covered problems by interviewing transgender community, analyzing case studies, and conducting in-depth interviews with academic and civil society experts. Professionals from various institutions are also interviewed to gain their views on a possible peace framework for the transgender population. The study's findings aims to provide future prospects at social, legal, religious, and political levels

    Allama Iqbal (1877-1938) was a covenant-making person. He has written poetry in both Persian and Urdu languages. His greatness was first recognized in his own home through Urdu poetry and then Persians made him the sage of the entire East. Allama Iqbal's Urdu poetry went through several stages of evolution. Discussions found in Iqbal's Urdu poetry are called discussions of Iqbaliat. Where Iqbal's Muslim wisdom and religious insight exposed the basic weakness of Western civilization, he helped Muslims highlight the basic realities of Islam. In the history of Urdu poetry, Allama Iqbal is the only poet who breathed a new spirit in poetry with his special color and new intellectual sense, with reliable subjects and innovative works, allusions and philosophy. He gave such a tone to poetry that people started liking his poetry. Poets started following and imitating Iqbal. Iqbal's thoughts and ideas are reflected in his poetry like a mirror

The dissemination and universality of Iqbal’s thought and art took him out of individuality and made him a cultural heritage. His philospocial poetry has a complete system of life in it. It not only invites contemplation but also inspires action. Dr. Aslam Ansari has a special attachment to Iqbal and Iqbal’s thought. He is a prominet contemporary Urdu poet. Aslam Ansari also has a prominent recognition as an Iqbal scholar. He has not only studied Iqbal with great effort and understandable awareness, but he has also studied the basic sciences that are required to understand Iqbal’s knowledge very seriously.     In the Ghazals of Allama Iqbal that he wrote in the initial stage, we find the reflection of new poetic tendencies of Hali and Akbar. But, he chose Dagh Dehalvi for poetic guideline .Gradually Iqbal adopted his unique style. In the 20th century, different themes were added in the Urdu Ghazal. In that period, Iqbal added aesthetic values in his Ghazal. Aesthetic virtues are fruitfully found in his ghazal. He is the adovocate of majaesty and aestheticisim in beauty.  Beauty, whether, appers as a symbol of feminine charm is like a colour in the image of the universe and it blesses the melodies of life with inner sorrow. It is prominent in his Ghazals that feminine beauty is perfect in being a feminine. His Ghazal make us realize that love is not a harbinger of destruction buit guaranter of existence. There is such a delicacy in Iqbal’s style as creates graceful charm combined with spiritual beauty. In his Ghazal, the tone of majesty gradually overpowers beauty and the element of power become more prominent the Philosophical harmony of his thoughts converts his Ghazals, which are composed of scattered verses into cohenent lyrical expression. None has ever shaped the ghazal in this form. His ghazal possesses the majesty of poetic lyricism which makes the verses sink into the reader’s heart

    Institutional Integration Strategies: Promoting Civic Engagement through Skilled Civic Education in Educational Institutions of Punjab, Pakistan

    The integration of civic engagement into educational institutions is a complex pedagogical process that requires a transformative strategy, confirming that individuals acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for active participation in civic life. This study explores how civic engagement through skilled civic education can be institutionalized in the educational institutions for community development in Pakistan, focusing on the Bahawalpur Division, which includes the three districts of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, and Rahimyar Khan, Punjab. A qualitative approach is carefully employed to address the research objective and achieve the study’s ultimate goals. Qualitative data is collected through semi-structured interviews with sixteen different personalities and analysed through thematic analysis. More accurate findings are obtained through cross-referencing triangulation. This method ensures deeper insights, with key respondents providing valuable opinions on strategies to promote civic engagement through skilled civic education. The findings highlight several critical strategies, including institutionalizing community service learning, integrating skilled civic education into the curriculum, and employing effective pedagogical strategies such as learner-centred methods. Additional strategies include awarding academic credit for learning, implementing teacher pre-service training, providing incentives and accountability measures, and establishing collaborations with key stakeholders. By implementing these strategies, public college educational institutions play a transformative role in nurturing socially responsible and engaged citizens, contributing to the development of individuals and communities.     Digital Polyarchy: The Role of Emerging Technologies in Shaping Democratic Resilience

    The emergence of digital technologies has heightened the vulnerability of democracy, presenting significant challenges that demand urgent attention. Notable concerns include declining public confidence in democratic institutions, the surge of nationalism and populism and the rise of hybrid democracies with authoritarian tendencies. Conflicts and migration further threaten democratic stability, exacerbating these issues. Despite these challenges, democracy remains resilient, as evidenced by ongoing democratic transitions and the pivotal role of local governments in promoting citizen-centric governance. This study addresses the critical problem of how digital technologies threaten democratic processes and explores strategies for safeguarding democracy in the digital age. The research questions focus on identifying the key risks posed by digital technologies to democracy and exploring potential solutions for enhancing democratic resilience. The theoretical framework of this study is grounded in Dahl's theory of polyarchy, which emphasizes the importance of institutional reforms and citizen participation in maintaining democratic integrity. The findings may suggest that strengthening democratic institutions, improving digital literacy and regulating digital platforms are crucial for mitigating the risks posed by the digital era. These strategies not only enhance democratic resilience but also promote inclusive citizen engagement, offering a pathway to safeguard democracy in an increasingly digital world.     Public Perception about Tackling Fake News on Social Media: A Case Study of Rawalpindi and Islamabad

    In the era of information dissemination, the landscape of news consumption endured profound changes, as the emergence and spread of fake news significantly transformed how people perceived and responded to information. The study aimed to explore how exposure to fake news affects consumers' trust in new media, susceptibility to misinformation, behavioral responses, verification habits, sharing tendencies, and media literacy levels. The study employed a quantitative style through a survey methodology, with a total of (N =300) respondents selected via WhatsApp using Google Forms. Drawing upon the self-designed questionnaire based on a Likert scale, researchers evaluated respondents' perceptions on numerous dimensions, including confidence in new media, susceptibility to fake news, behavioral responses to misinformation, media literacy levels, and verification practices of fake news. The survey revealed that older, male, and educated individuals, with various income levels, were predominant among respondents. Many expressed concerns about fake news, emphasizing its impact on public trust and societal well-being. Respondents totally supported education and media literacy as vital tools against misinformation, advocating for their inclusion in the school curriculum. While opinions are mixed on social media platforms' responsibility, a significant portion is devoted to verifying news accuracy before sharing. The study concluded that exposure to fake news significantly weakened trust in new media, highlighting the importance of media literacy education and verification practices in alleviating misinformation's impact on society. He had a deep understanding of jurisprudence, beliefs, knowledge of kalaam, and vocabulary. Most of his books are related to jurisprudence. He founded a great religious school in Turkey called Berkeley. Also established. This thesis contains an introduction to Allama Berkley and his writing services.
