This study looks into the often overlooked effects that water pollution and inadequate sanitation have on local social institutions. This research takes a novel approach by looking at the ripple effects of environmental challenges on social structures, norms, and community cohesion, whereas previous research has primarily focused on the health implications of these kinds of challenges. The research was conducted in a rural area called Chak 141 Jahanian, located near Khanewal District in Punjab, Pakistan. Data were gathered by using convenience sampling technique and a mixed-methods approach, which included surveys, interviews, and on-site observations of communities with poor sanitation and unhygienic water sources. The results showed a complicated web of relationships between community social fabric and environmental stressors. It has been discovered that poor sanitation and water pollution have profound, diverse impacts on a range of social institutions, such as political behavior, religion, family dynamics, educational systems, and the economy. Important findings show that pitiable sanitation and water quality aggravate social injustices, upset established roles and responsibilities, obstruct educational attainment, and weaken community cohesion. The findings also sheds light on potential areas for intervention and support by highlighting the resilience and coping strategies used by communities to mitigate these negative effects. This study highlights the significance of taking the social aspects of environmental challenges into account, which adds to the larger conversation on sustainable development and public health. It recognizes the significant impact that inadequate sanitation and water pollution have on the social institutions that support community well-being and advocates for a more comprehensive approach to addressing these issues. Understanding these intricate dynamics is crucial for policymakers, public health officials, and community leaders when designing effective interventions to mitigate the impact of poor sanitation and polluted water on communities and their social institutions

The Impact of Televangelists on Contemporary Pakistani Society: A Critical Analysis of Their Preaching and Religious Influence
The rise of televangelists in Pakistan has created a discussion over their influence on the religious landscape of the nation. Despite their helpful role in disseminating religious information and ideals, others contend that their preaching may foster intolerance and marginalize particular groups. This article uses a qualitative research approach to tackle the problem, reviewing relevant academic and popular literature as well as conducting survey with audiences of televangelists who could be interested in the topic. The findings of this study demonstrate that while televangelists have significantly influenced Pakistan's religious landscape, such effects have not always been favorable. Numerous televangelists spread a distorted version of Islam that is at odds with the rich religious and cultural traditions of the nation and may encourage the radicalization of particular groups, especially those who feel excluded from the dominant religious discourse. Given that Pakistan emphasizes the variety and depth of its religious traditions, these findings have practical ramifications for fostering inclusive and tolerant religious discourse in that nation. The study's conclusions have important ramifications since they emphasis the need for Pakistan to consider televangelism with greater scepticism. While televangelists can be helpful in spreading religious knowledge and ideals, it is crucial to carefully monitor their messages to make sure they don't incite bigotry or destroy the nation's multireligious heritage. In order to preserve Pakistan's multireligious legacy, this article suggests a more accepting and tolerant approach to religious discourse that encourages communication and understanding among various religious communities

The Perspective of Allama Nabulsi on Innovations and Superstitions in the Light of Al-Hadīqah al-Nadiyyah: بدعات و خرافات سے متعلق علامہ نا بلسی کا نظریہ الحدیقۃ الندیہ کی روشنی میں
The phenomenon of Bid‘ah (innovation) has long been a subject of scholarly discourse in Islamic theology and jurisprudence. Allama Abdul Ghani al-Nabulsi (d. 1143 AH), a distinguished Sufi scholar and Hanafi jurist of the Ottoman era, provides a nuanced and balanced perspective on Bid‘ah and related superstitions (khurāfāt) in his seminal work Al-Hadīqah al-Nadiyyah. According to Nabulsi, Bid‘ah refers to introducing a new matter into the religion that was not practiced during the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ or his Companions. However, he does not adopt a blanket condemnation of all innovations. Instead, he classifies Bid‘ah into two distinct categories:
Bid‘at al-Ḥasanah (commendable or good innovation)
Bid‘at al-Sayyi’ah (blameworthy or bad innovation)
In Al-Hadīqah al-Nadiyyah, Nabulsi argues that Bid‘at al-Ḥasanah can be accepted if it aligns with the objectives of Shariah and does not contradict any clear religious text. Acts such as organizing structured religious gatherings, establishing charitable institutions, or utilizing modern means to spread knowledge may fall under this category. In contrast, Bid‘at al-Sayyi’ah involves practices that distort Islamic beliefs, introduce superstition, or lead people away from the original message of Islam. These, according to Nabulsi, are strongly discouraged and often arise from ignorance or blind following. Nabulsi also highlights the spiritual dangers of khurāfāt (superstitious beliefs), particularly when such practices claim religious legitimacy without textual or rational basis. He urges scholars and the general public to distinguish between cultural customs and legitimate religious practices, underscoring the importance of correct understanding (fiqh) and cautious application of religious rulings in contemporary contexts.
This paper explores the relevance of Nabulsi’s classification in today’s world, especially in combating excessive rigidity on one hand, and unrestrained innovation on the other. By revisiting his writings, the study offers a pathway for balanced religious interpretation and a revival of critical reasoning (ijtihād) in the face of evolving societal challenges
Effect of Fintech Services Applications on Inflation and Unemployment in Pakistan
This research focused on the two important economic factors such as inflation and unemployment and its effects on the Fintech in Pakistan. As, Fintech is essentially the use of technology to deliver updated and new financial services. In Pakistan's fintech journey, the launch of branchless banking services like Easypaisa and JazzCash marked a significant turning point. Fintech is roughly defined as mobile money, online digital transactions and payments, and digital payment making and receiving. Hence, to examine the two most widely used metrics i.e. inflation and unemployment from the year 2014 to 2023, data was taken from the online database of Pakistan and website of world bank. It appeared that the active usage of Fintech through two-way transactions (buy and sale) resolved by the digital payment made or received has a lowering influence on inflation with respect to the traditional causes of inflation. However, passive use the straightforward act of purchasing or consuming, such making a payment online has a positive and substantial effect on inflation. This includes the adoption of debit cards and digital payments. And hence, this study also found that Fintech has the negative impact on unemployment rate through new investment opportunities. Governments would have to promote phone use, increase internet usage, and, most importantly, actively participate in digital commerce. Furthermore, robots are not going to replace humans in the workforce as a result of modern technology. For this reason, if employees need to acquire new skills due to current technological advancements, industry analysts think the analysis will probably enhance human capacities. Therefore, in order to enhance their digital infrastructure, particularly for enterprises, Pakistani government authorities should boost their economies and increase their information and communication technology

ریاستِ مدینہ کی معاشی بنیادوں کا قیام منہجِ نبوی ﷺ کے تناظر میں ایک تحقیقی مطالعہ: The Establishment of the Economic Foundations of the State of Madinah in the Light of the Prophetic Methodology: A Research Study
When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ laid the foundations of the Islamic state in Madinah, he demonstrated a profound understanding of the essential role that a stable economy plays in ensuring the strength and sustainability of any political system. He did not merely acknowledge the economic dimension of state-building but actively structured it in accordance with the principles of Islamic law, aiming to establish a system that served the collective welfare of society. A central feature of his economic vision was to make the economy subservient to the needs of the community, rather than reducing the community to a tool for economic gain. The primary objective of this research is to explore the Prophet’s ﷺ strategic approach in building and activating the economic base of the Islamic state in Madinah. It seeks to highlight how, through wisdom and foresight, he initiated the foundation of a just and exemplary economic order. One of his earliest practical measures—following the construction of the mosque—was the establishment of a free and independent market for Muslims. This move effectively challenged and diminished the economic monopoly previously held by the Jewish tribes of Madinah. The Prophet ﷺ introduced comprehensive ethical and regulatory guidelines to govern the marketplace, rooted in values such as honesty, transparency, and justice. These principles elevated economic activity beyond mere material pursuit, infusing it with a moral and spiritual ethos. Thus, the economic foundations laid during the Prophet’s ﷺ time became the cornerstone of a broader transformative vision, ultimately shaping the Islamic model of socio-economic justice for generations to come
