Exploring Quranic Astronomy and Contemporary Science

Important rites have always been closely linked to the motion of heavenly bodies in Islamic history. The position of the sun in the sky has been matched with the times of daily prayers. Many a believer has had to use the stars or, more lately, a satellite connection to determine Mecca's direction. The apparent size of the moon has traditionally determined the start of each month, including Ramadan. Thus, astronomy has always played a significant role in Islamic culture. Even in the world we live now, Muslims can learn a lot about their faith by connecting it with scientific research and examining them considering Holy Quran and Sunnah. The Holy Quran encourages believers to think and explore the creation of the universe positively. The miraculous book of Holy Quran discusses celestial bodies and how they came together to begin with the creation of the universe. The Holy Quran beautifully drew the sketch for the infamous Big Bang Theory almost fourteen and a half centuries ago when scientists had no clue about the origin of universe. The Holy Quran also debates about other things like how the Earth tilts, planets spread out, the Sirius star, falling rocks from space (called meteorites), and planets outside our solar system (exoplanets). Even the way the moon moves has a special mention, and when we look at it now, it fits with what science says. These verses in the Holy Quran show how well they fit with what we know from modern science. These Quranic evidence of Astronomy tell believers to not just think about why the universe is here but also to explore it, look out for the signs of Almighty in His creation and draw a connection with divinity in light of it. The Holy Quran becomes like a guide, inviting believers to learn more about the world and showing that science and faith can go together. It's like a connection between old teachings and the new things we find out about the universe today. This link between religion and science not only makes Islamic knowledge richer in contemporary era but also shows how beliefs and logics can go hand in hand to understand the world

فتنہ انکار حدیث کے متعلق منتخب علمائےخیبر پختون خوا کی تصنیفی کاوشوں کاتحقیقی جائزہ: A Research Analysis of the Writings of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Scholars Regarding Fitna Inkar e Hadees

Islam is based on the Quran and Hadith, which are its two main sources. Argumentation based on Greek philosophy is one of the changes in the religion that led to deviant trends and intellectual divisions in the Muslim world. One of the sects that emerged from such discussion was the Mu’tazilah. When they felt the Qur’an and the Sunnah disagreed, they prioritized intellect over the revealed texts of the Qur’an and the Sunnah. This mindset set a negative example for all following parties that sought to override the Qur’an and the Sunnah with reason and desire. Even today, many modernists and so-called reformists still adhere to their convictions, which have led to a complete denial of the Hadith’s authority.Mainstream Muslim academics from around the world denounced this “Fitna” and responded to their accusations. Throughout each phase, they made an explicit response to their accus ations. The Scholars of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also took their part as they could and with all their resources they gave it their all. They explored every facet of challenging the legitimacy of the Hadith in Arabic, Urdu, Pushto, English, and Farsi. Some renowned names among them are: Sheikh Abdussalam Rustami, Maulana Yousaf Benori, Mufti Nizam ud Din Shamizai, Maulana Sarfraz Khan Safdar. This article provides a concise overview and analysis of their research on the subject. Key Words:,,, , modernist

مظاهر الإعجاز العلمي في القرآن الكريم وتوظيفاته الدعوية: Dimensions of scientific miracles in the Holy Quran and its Da'wah Goals

    No full text
Abstract: The Qur'an deals with various aspects of the universal phenomena, such as Sky, Earth, Sun, Moon, water, mountains, Man, birds, cattle etc. All these things include scientific miracles at all stages of what man does not understand and proven by the Modern Science, but among them the Qur'an had been discussed fourteen centuries ago, in this sense, these revealed miracles can be used as Qur'anic proofs for Da'wah to Allah, and one of the modern da'wah means that many non-Muslims admire and have become the reason for their acceptance of Islam. This topic is one of the most important topics of Da'wah due to the role and importance of modern methods in Da'wah, and it is necessary to invite non-Muslims on the way that corresponds to the age in which we live. The miracles of our Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, have various aspects, the most important aspect is rhetorical according to the eloquent level of the Arabs in that time, But miracles connected to the universe were not known except in this era in which modern science emerged. The purpose of this research is to identify these cosmic areas in Qur'an and to know the aspects of their miracles, and Da'wah goals of these miracles. Many books have been written about scientific miracles in the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah, but they focused on the statement of scientific miracles only without employing them in the field of Da'wah except for some implicit references, they are general studies, and this study is specific to cosmic verses, and focused on the Da'wah side only. It is not intended to describe the scientific miracle in these cosmic verses in detail, but rather to describe it in general by mentioning the areas and aspects of the miracle and the Da'wah dimensions and goals of these miracles

Prophecies of the Advent of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) in the Sacred Scriptures of Non-Semitic Religions )A Study of Pandit Bashiruddin’s Research(: غیر سامی مذاہب کی کتبِ مقدسہ میں بشاراتِ بعثتِ نبوی ﷺ (پنڈت بشیر الدین کی تحقیقات کا مطالعہ)

The advent of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) has been prophesied in the sacred scriptures of various religious traditions, including non-Semitic religions. This research examines the prophecies regarding the last messenger in the religious texts of Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, and Buddhism, as analyzed by Pandit Bashiruddin. The study highlights the remarkable similarities between these prophecies and the characteristics of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).  In Zoroastrian texts, the foretold figure "Astvat-ereta" and "Shāoshyant" bear striking resemblance to the qualities of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ). Similarly, the Hindu scriptures, particularly the Vedas, refer to a divinely chosen leader named "Narashansah" (the most praised) and "Kalki Avatar," whose attributes align closely with those of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). In Buddhist traditions, the prophecy of the coming o f "Maitreya" (the merciful one) is found, which corresponds with the prophetic mission of Muhammad (ﷺ). This study underscores the universality of Muhammad’s (ﷺ) prophethood and his significance for all of humanity. The presence of such prophecies in non-Semitic religions serves as a crucial bridge for interfaith dialogue and invites followers of different traditions to explore the final message of Islam

حروف الجر وأدوات الربط في وصف النظم القرآني للحياة الدنيوية وأسرارها البلاغية: The Use of Prepositions and Connective Particles in the Qur'anic Description of Worldly Life and Their Rhetorical Secrets

This study analyzes the rhetorical and semantic functions of prepositions and connective particles used in the Qur’anic description of worldly life. It demonstrates how these fundamental linguistic elements contribute not only to meaning but also to the miraculous nature of the Qur’an. The Qur’an presents worldly life as transient, deceptive, and ornamental, using precise grammatical and rhetorical strategies. Prepositions such as fi, min, ila, and bi, and connectives like thumma, fa, and hatta, are employed in ways that enhance clarity, emphasis, and depth of meaning. This research highlights the expressive power of these linguistic tools and how they help convey the profound messages of the Qur’an more effectively

مسائل حیات میں حکمت معاملات کی اہمیت:سیرت النبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی روشنی میں : The Importance of Wisdom in Dealing with Life Matters: In the Light of the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him

    No full text
One of the root causes of modern life’s challenges is the absence of wisdom in human dealings. No matter how much effort or resources are invested in addressing an issue, success often remains elusive if decisions lack wisdom and thoughtful consideration. True wisdom does not always manifest in speech, confrontation, or display of power, sometimes it lies in silence, retreat, or accepting another’s opinion for a greater good. The widespread intolerance, impatience, and social unrest in our society largely stem from a failure to apply wise conduct in interpersonal and communal affairs. Wisdom is a divine gift, as emphasized in the Qur'an: "He grants wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever is granted wisdom has certainly been given much good." (Al-Baqarah 2:269). This research article explores the importance of "wisdom in conduct" in resolving life’s complex issues by drawing insights from the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who is the finest embodiment of divine wisdom. His life serves as a comprehensive model for when to speak or remain silent, when to show strength or practice restraint, and when to advance or yield in the face of trials. By analyzing practical examples from the Prophetic tradition, this study highlights how applying the Prophet’s (PBUH) wisdom-based approach in personal, social, and strategic matters can lead to harmony, success, and lasting solutions to life’s pressing problems

Optimizing Crop Yield Forecasts Using Quantum Machine Learning Techniques with High-Dimensional Soil and Weather Data

This paper focuses solely on the possibility of applying quantum machine learning methods to increase crop yield prediction accuracy based on multi-feature soil and climate data. The main goal is to increase the efficiency of crop yield prediction models, which are critical for increasing a nation's production and food ratio. Complexity also throws off supervised analytical methods, and nonlinearity grew as the agricultural industry expanded its fields. These fields now encompass a wider range of interconnected elements, including soil type and nutrient content, their relationship to soil water content, air temperature, rainfall, and other factors. In this research, we use quantum computing to solve the problem of handling high-order data more proficiently than the same problems formulated in classical computers. In this paper, we developed and incorporated QSVM and QNN into conventional machine learning models to learn from large and highly complex datasets containing multiple years' worth of regional and temporal information on soil and weather. We believe these models can reveal patterns that QSVM and QNN are better equipped to detect due to their scalability and ability to compute over large datasets. As a result, the quantum-enhanced models outperform the conventional methods in terms of predictive power, demonstrating superior MSE values and robustness values. Specifically, the integration of quantum techniques enhanced the generalization ability because of the highly nonlinear relationship between the variables. These results suggest that QML could significantly improve crop yield estimates, as its predictions are more accurate and directly applicable to agricultural practices and policies. This study would expand the literature on the application of quantum computing in agriculture because it is an emerging field that holds potential for addressing various challenges in food production. In the domain of crop yield prediction, we are laying down the foundations for less vulnerable farming structures that are able to meet the future climate conditions and the growing global food requirements. Thus, the study calls for more research on potential quantum-based solutions in other essential use cases in agriculture

The world as of today has been facing sensitive socio political issues due to fanatic jealousy and blind following of religious faith and beliefs which established a continuing threat to peace and tranquility in different parts of the world. Scholars like Syed Hossein Nasr, John Hick, Hans kung, and Sir Syed Ahmed Khan  have shared their thoughts on the subject as much as organizations like United Nation Alliance of civilization (UNAOC), Religions for Peace (RFP), Parliament of the World’s Religions, The Interfaith Alliance etc. have been working to promote inter faith relations. The role of interfaith harmony in establishing a peaceful society ensuring human equality and protecting human dignity cannot be overlooked. Islam is a religion of peace which led foundation of this concept in seventh century. Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him migrated to Medina in seventh century and declared a charter of Medina in 622 AD with the neighboring societies and gave a new dimension to the religious beliefs introducing patience and acceptability for different faiths living in comity. Allah Almighty guided his righteous Prophet to call upon Jews and Christian tribes to enter into a peace treaty on the basis of common beliefs without pressing each other to object the differences in faith. This interaction paved the way for exchange of socio political and economic thoughts in the region, adaptation for art and culture as much as promoted a civilization in that region.

Islam is a code of life that provides a complete guidance in every aspect of human life. A human being needs different ways of livelihood for his survival in society. So he adopts different kinds of professions. There are some ethics and moral values in every profession. But in current times one can easily observe the lacking of professional and ethical values in every field. How people in same profession should behave with each other? What kind of professional ethics should be observed and demonstrated at work place? In current paper we will find answers of these questions through qualitative research method. This paper also deals with work place ethics in the light of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life and teachings. Because Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Himself used to take professional approach in His affairs. In the light of the Prophet's teachings, professional ethics include principles such as truthfulness, honesty, hard work, justice, respect, and service to others. One should seek guidance from Prophet’s (PBUH) life in order to perform his duties and make himself better at his work place. Islamic teachings on workplace ethics offer practical guidance for today's professionals. These simple but powerful teachings from the Prophet’s (PBUH) life remain useful guides for workplace behavior today. When coworkers follow these basic principles of kindness, honesty, and fairness, they not only do better in their careers but also help create a better society

Bahawalpur sits in the heart of the Punjab province, which is in turn is the largest province of Pakistan. Punjab is also the home of one of the oldest human civilizations in human history and it has distinct cultural and literary features that are distinctive in the Indo-Pak subcontinent cultural landscape. Punjab is in itself divided into two parts, northern Punjab that contains several major cities of which the largest and most important of is Lahore, and southern Punjab, which contains three major cities of which Bahawalpur is the most important. This study focus on the literary scene in Bahawalpur as the city is considered one of the oldest settlements in the world, with long cultural and literary history. And it is this long and rich cultural heritage that allowed the city, and though residing in the heart of a Saraiki dominated region, to support and cherish cultural and literary work in other languages, most notably Urdu. As such, Bahawalpur was the home for various literary models in prose and poetry in the Urdu language, and this was reinforced by the effective role of thinkers and writers in this city in order to advance science and literature, such as Allama Muhammad Iqbal
