When Deportation Is a Death Sentence
The research concerns the widespread distribution of deportation cases across the globe and the continued use of death penalties in numerous states. By exploring the cultural, ethical, and legal sides of this complicated issue, this thorough analysis seeks to highlight their numerous aspects and tasks` set. The article provides an advanced knowledge of the broad consequences, difficulties, and moral issues involved in these matters through extensive research and a wide range of views. Major concerns regarding fairness are raised by the widespread use of collective expulsion in deportation proceedings. In order to advocate for a fair and just decision that takes into account the individual circumstances of each person involved in the deportation process, it is crucial to emphasize the importance of performing individual assessments for each case

Formalizing IOTA Extended UTXO in Isabelle
The IOTA Extended UTXO (IOTA EUTXO) model extends the UTXO blockchain to include features like smart contracts and non-fungible tokens. In this work, we show that the IOTA EUTXO model maintains the base correctness properties of the UTXO model while extending it with extra functionality. We achieve this by specifying and verifying the essential concepts of the base UTXO model and the extensions proposed by IOTA using the Isabelle proof assistant. The specification is designed to be modular and extensible, meaning it can be used as a foundation for further research of the UTXO and IOTA EUTXO models
Semantic Segmentation for Change Detection in Satellite Imaging
Change detection is a common and actual problem in the field of remote sensing. The classical approaches using raw pixel information are very sensitive to noise. In this study we propose the usage of additional semantic information for change detection. We use the semantic segmentation methods like geospatial Segment Anything Model and encoder based U-Net to evaluate the predictions and tracing the semantic information as well as raw information in change detection. Later the multidimensional time series data is used via the Vector Autoregression model to predict the future changes in the landscape. The observations which fall out of the prediction interval are considered as the changes in the landscape. The proposed method is evaluated on the dataset of the random locations across the Baltic region. The research is accompanied by the data and reproducible code at Github repository
Alfonso Nykos-Niliūno intelektinių nuostatų sluoksniai praėjusio šimtmečio šeštojo dešimtmečio pabaigos – devintojo dešimtmečio vidurio tekstuose, dienoraščiuose ir korespondencijoje
The text explores the intellectual provisions of the poet Alfonsas Nyka-Niliunas, which began to emerge in the 1940s in the cultural press, and took on a clear form in the 1950s with the publication of the literary magazine “Literatūros lankai”. Nyka-Niliūnas continued to adhere to his intellectual provisions and the evaluations they dictated in the later stages of his life. The article presents Nyka-Niliūnas not only as a poet and translator, but also as an active shaping force in the cultural field and the literary canon, and presents the principles of his work. The analysis also includes fragments of Nyka-Niliūnas’s diary “Dienoraščio fragmentai”, which are proposed to be treated as an autobiographical construction. The article also presents life experiences that did not make it into Nyka-Niliūnas’ published diary, which allows for a new look at Nyka-Niliūnas and the self-representational image he creates.
