The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Human Resource Management: Enhancing Employee Age Verification for Legal Compliance and Workforce Optimization

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool in Human Resource Management (HRM), particularly in employee age verification for legal compliance and workforce planning. Verifying employee age is crucial in ensuring adherence to labor regulations that prohibit child labor and enforce age-related employment restrictions, especially in high-risk industries such as construction and manufacturing. This study explores how AI-based dental radiographic analysis can be integrated into HRM to provide a more objective, accurate, and fraud-resistant alternative to conventional identity verification methods. The research examines various AI techniques, including deep learning models such as ResNet, VGG16, and EfficientNet, and machine learning approaches like Random Forest and Support Vector Machines, which enhance classification accuracy in age estimation. While AI has demonstrated high efficiency in forensic and medical applications, its adaptation to HRM requires addressing critical challenges, including data privacy concerns, regulatory acceptance, and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, integrating AI into HRM demands a framework that aligns with labor laws and ethical considerations to ensure compliance and minimize potential biases in AI-based decision-making. This study suggests that AI-driven age verification can improve recruitment accuracy, support legal workforce management, and reduce risks associated with underage employment. Future research should focus on the economic feasibility of AI implementation in HRM, sector-specific case studies, and regulatory frameworks that facilitate AI adoption in labor compliance

This research was conducted to measure the extent to which the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System influences the HR performance of PT XYZ using the ISO 9001:2015 clause, namely Organizational Context, Leadership, Operations, Performance Evaluation, and Improvement as measuring tools. This research is quantitative in nature and the data was distributed to 56 PT XYZ staff using Google Form. The data obtained will be processed using SPSS software with the multiple linear regression analysis method. From the results obtained, it is known that the regression analysis equation is Y = 0.428 + 0.040X1 + 0.099X2 – 0.110X3 + 0.078X4 + 0.122X5. It can be said that the variables Leadership (X2), Performance Evaluation (X4), and Improvement (X5) have a significant influence on HR performance. This is supported by the linear regression equation which obtained a positive value on HR performance. Apart from that, with the linearity test it can be seen that the data produced is linear in relation to HR performance because the results obtained are greater than 0.05. Therefore, this research can be a consideration for improving the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System on HR performance

Quality is important for a product so that it can have more value than other products. To maintain quality, quality assurance (quality) is required. As is the case with silencer products produced by CV. Nyoto Plastik, silencer is a product that must maintain its quality value. Therefore, many defects in silencer products must be repaired by analyzing the causes of the defects. Based on research, the average defect in this silencer product reaches 10% within one year. New Seven Tools is a method for finding out the causes of defects based on humans, methods, materials, machines or the environment by using the seven tools contained in it. Therefore, this research aims to help maintain the quality of silencers by analyzing the causes of defects and providing suggestions for improvements to minimize defects that occur using the New Seven Tools method

Legal Protection for First-Time Land Registration Applicants Related to Transportation and Accommodation Costs in Medan City

Land registration for the first time is part of the land system that provides a guarantee of legal certainty for the owner. In Indonesia, including in the city of Medan, land registration does not only involve administrative aspects, but also costs that are often burdensome for applicants, especially related to transportation and accommodation. This research aims to explore legal protection for first-time land registration applicants, focusing on the cost aspect that must be borne by the applicant. This research uses a qualitative approach with an empirical juridical method, which involves interviews with various sources, such as applicants, employees of the Medan City Land Office, and agrarian law experts. The results show that despite the regulations governing land registration, in practice, applicants still face difficulties related to transportation and accommodation costs, especially for those who live far from the city center. The lengthy and bureaucratic registration procedure also increases people's expenses, as they have to go back and forth to the land office. Another obstacle is the inefficiency of procedures and lack of adequate information regarding the stages of land registration. In addition, the lack of oversight of the implementation of procedures leads to informal practices, such as the use of unofficial intermediaries, which add to the costs to the community. In the perspective of justice theory, especially John Rawls's social justice theory and Satjipto Rahardjo's view of progressive law, the state should provide affirmative treatment to vulnerable community groups, including providing cost subsidies or pick-up services to reduce access inequality. This research suggests the need for policy reform, digitization of services, and increased public legal literacy so that the land registration process is more transparent, efficient, and fair

The This study examines the impact of technoference on parenting styles and its implications for children’s development. Technoference, defined as interruptions in family interactions caused by technology use, poses significant challenges to effective parenting. This quantitative study employs a cross-sectional survey method, involving 60 parents with children aged 7-10 years. Data were collected using standardized instruments, including the Technoference Scale, Parenting Style Questionnaire, and Child Social-Emotional Development Scale. Descriptive statistics, correlation, regression, and moderation analyses were conducted to analyze the data. Results reveal a moderate level of technoference among parents, which correlates significantly with children’s cognitive and behavioral challenges. Initial abilities (????=0.850, ????<0.001) and socioeconomic status (????=0.102, ????=0.001) were strong predictors of parenting style outcomes. The interaction effect (????=0.045, ????=0.003) suggests that higher SES amplifies the positive impact of initial abilities on parenting effectiveness. The findings underscore the importance of addressing technoference and tailoring interventions to enhance both children’s abilities and parental resources. This study contributes to understanding the complexities of parenting in the digital age

The Influence of Cognitive and Environmental Stimulation on Children's Language Acquisition

Early childhood language development relies heavily on cognitive processes together with environmental quality of stimulation. This quantitative investigation determines the measures to which both cognitive engagement and environmental elements contribute towards children's language growth. A standard survey and official language testing instruments gathered information from three hundred children between ages 3 and 6 from distinct economic groups. The statistical analysis using multiple regression demonstrates that cognitive stimulation (β = 0.55, p < 0.001) as well as environmental stimulation (β = 0.41, p < 0.001) serve as significant predictors of language acquisition with an explanation of 56% (R² = 0.56). The study confirmed that socio-economic status affects language development (β = 0.29, p < 0.001) yet both cognitive and environmental stimulation variables mediated the relationship between these factors thereby reducing the impact of socio-economic factors on language development. The research helps expand current knowledge through quantitative evidence supporting cognitive and environmental factors while analyzing the combined learning environments of homes and schools and overcoming rigid views about SES's effect on language development. The analysis demonstrates why educational approaches that include student interactions matter together with early literacy initiatives and controlled linguistic and education programs during early childhood. Researchers emphasize the necessity of government programs that actively improve both intellectual and environmental stimulation in child education facilities. The study yields valuable findings yet future research must use longitudinal studies to track longer-term consequences between these factors and diverse dimensions of language development
