Psychosocial Factors of Adolescent Cyberbullying: Social Anxiety, General Belongingness, and Social Connectedness
Cyberbullying is a form of violence committed through electronic contact, either individually or in groups to harm others psychologically. This study examines the psychosocial factors behind the phenomenon of cyberbullying from the perspective of victims, perpetrators, and both victims and perpetrators, namely social anxiety, general belongingness, and social connectedness. Data were collected from 377 students aged 16-18 years by the use of purposive random sampling. All measuring instruments used were translated into Indonesian Language by a sworn translator, and the validity and reliability were tested. The results of data testing using hierarchical multiple regression show that psychosocial factors like general belongingness, social anxiety and social connectedness partially influence cyberbullying with the biggest role coming from general belongingness in a negative direction. Meanwhile, the results of simultaneous testing show that the role of social connectedness is not visible because it is dominated by general belongingness and social anxiety. The findings of the test using support vector machine (SVM-AI) clearly show that cyberbullying is a real phenomenon among teenagers. The psychosocial factors behind the phenomenon of cyberbullying are primarily driven by individual needs which not only require connectedness that meets the need for affiliation, but also relationships based on trust and care
Nexus between Digital Competency Level and Performance Level of State Civil Apparatus
This study analyzes the relationship between digital competence and performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in supporting the Digital Transformation agenda in Indonesia. Digital competency is measured using five variables from the DigComp 2.2 framework: Information and Data Literacy, Communication and Collaboration, Digital Content Creation, Digital Security and Problem Solving. Meanwhile, ASN performance is assessed through three variables: Task Performance, Contextual, and Adaptive. Data was obtained from 206 ASN respondents through questionnaires and analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The results showed a significant positive relationship between digital competence and ASN performance, with a correlation of 0.769. The Digital Content Creation and Problem-Solving variables had the lowest competency levels, while the 41-45, 36-40, 51-55, and 56-62 years age groups showed a significant percentage of low categories. This research confirms the need to increase digital competence in improving ASN performance to support the success of digital transformation in the public sector
Scoping Review: Pregnant Women with HIV: Difficulties Faced and Coping Strategies
Since the beginning of the case, the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) has grown dramatically on a global scale. Pregnant women with HIV are one of the groups that receive worse negative impacts due to changes in health and social life due to being infected with HIV. Several studies have revealed coping strategies that pregnant women with HIV carry out to continue their lives. Therefore, this scoping review aims to identify coping strategies carried out by pregnant women in facing difficulties after being diagnosed with HIV. The study was established based on a scoping review framework by Arskey and O'Malley. Article searches were carried out on the MEDLINE and Scopus databases in early 2023. The selection of articles refers to inclusion criteria which include: the results of research on coping strategies carried out by pregnant women with HIV in facing difficulties, having a full text in English, and published in 2014-2023. The results of the analysis of 18 selected studies found two themes related to pregnant women diagnosed with HIV, namely the difficulties faced by pregnant women with HIV and coping strategies carried out by pregnant women with HIV. Almost all pregnant women with HIV have faced difficulties in controlling their negative emotions and stigma about HIV. However, positive coping strategies make pregnant women with HIV improve and live their next lives. The experience of pregnant women with HIV who have successfully faced their difficulties with positive coping strategies needs to be considered by the government and health service providers in managing the reduction of HIV prevalence

Exploring AI's Ethical Impact on Teacher-Student Dynamics in English Language Learning
This study explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning, aiming to understand how AI influences teacher-student dynamics, the ethical challenges involved, and students' perceptions of AI in the classroom. The research adopts a qualitative ethnographic approach, engaging with 220 students and 58 lecturers from universities in the Jabodetabek region. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, focusing on the integration of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gamma. Thematic analysis was employed to identify key patterns in teacher-student interactions, ethical concerns, and student engagement. Findings indicate that AI enhances student autonomy and learning personalization while reducing the direct communication between teachers and students. Ethical challenges identified include data privacy concerns, the risk of over-dependency on AI, and the potential dehumanization of the learning process. From the student perspective, AI reduces language anxiety and increases engagement through flexible, personalized learning experiences, but some students miss the emotional connection traditionally provided by human teachers. The study concludes that while AI offers significant educational benefits, careful consideration must be given to maintaining ethical standards and human-centered teaching practices. Future research should focus on integrating AI tools that support not only cognitive learning but also emotional and ethical aspects to ensure balanced educational outcomes
A Sociolinguistic Approach to Language Levels in Social Interaction and Cultural Identity
This study explores the application of a sociolinguistic approach to language variations in the context of social interaction and cultural identity, particularly in the teaching of reading. By employing a qualitative research methodology, the study examines how formal and informal language, idiomatic expressions, and culturally specific terms within texts influence students’ reading comprehension and cultural literacy. Data were collected through interviews and discourse analysis involving students and educators engaged in reading instruction, with diverse texts such as literary works, folk tales, and non-formal narratives serving as primary materials. Findings indicate that students’ awareness of language variations significantly enhances their ability to decode contextual and cultural nuances, enabling deeper engagement with texts. Students who recognized the implications of linguistic choices—such as the use of formal versus informal registers—were better equipped to analyze character interactions, social dynamics, and embedded cultural values. Challenges emerged when students encountered idiomatic or culturally specific expressions, but these were mitigated through contextual analysis, consultation with external resources, and guided instruction. This study highlights the transformative potential of integrating sociolinguistic principles into reading pedagogy. It underscores the importance of fostering students’ critical literacy skills by exposing them to diverse linguistic styles and encouraging discussions on how language reflects social and cultural identities. The findings suggest that such approaches not only enhance reading comprehension but also promote cultural awareness and sensitivity, preparing students to navigate the complexities of a linguistically and culturally diverse world
Acute Fatty Liver in Pregnancy
Acute fatty liver in pregnancy (AFLP) is a rare, life-threatening condition that typically occurs in the third trimester, characterized by fat accumulation in the liver. It is associated with high maternal and fetal morbidity, although mortality rates have decreased with improved obstetric care. AFLP's exact cause remains unclear, though it is linked to impaired fatty acid metabolism in the liver. Key risk factors include multiple pregnancies, male fetuses, and metabolic disorders. The condition presents with non-specific symptoms like nausea, jaundice, and abdominal pain, with progression to liver failure and encephalopathy in severe cases. Early diagnosis is critical, and the Swansea Criteria have proven useful. Management focuses on early delivery and supportive care, with cesarean section preferred due to the risk of fetal distress. Liver transplantation may be necessary for severe cases. While maternal and fetal survival rates have improved, the condition still poses significant challenges, emphasizing the need for prompt diagnosis and treatment
Analysis of Waiting Time for Outpatient Services at dr Rasidin Padang Regional Hospital
Outpatient waiting periods extended beyond regulatory standards create major problems for hospital service quality because they damage patient satisfaction while also decreasing system performance and affecting institutional public perception. The regulatory standards regarding outpatient waiting times of ≤ 60 minutes were not reflected in the initial survey results at RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang since durations exceeded these limits. Research conducted a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design to explore the elements that lengthen outpatient delays at RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang. A total of 107 outpatients participated using proportional accidental sampling to provide quantitative data while qualitative information came from 14 key informants through semi-structured interviews and 8 participants in a Focus Group Discussion. Research data showed that 76.6% of patients waited for above 60 minutes and the entire process took on average 130 minutes. Insufficient human resources dedicated to medical records and registration combined with specialist doctor indiscipline in exam scheduling together with inadequate facilities that included broken fingerprint devices and insufficient operational computers caused this delay in patient examination start times. The qualitative findings show that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) remained in place yet inconsistent execution due to fragmented leadership functions degraded efficiency in services. Insured BPJS patients had to bear excessive administrative procedures that generated extended waiting times than what general patients received
