No full textThis study aims to analyze the application of management functions in the management of drugs and medical consumables (BMHP) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) of Nunukan Regency. The research focuses on the four key management functions: planning, organizing, actuating (implementation), and controlling (supervision), while also identifying the challenges and implications of BMHP logistics management for healthcare service quality. Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. Informants included hospital leaders, pharmacy installation heads, pharmacists, logistics staff, and patients. The results show that the planning function is carried out based on consumption methods and VEN (Vital, Essential, Non-Essential) and ABC analysis, but still lacks support from an integrated information system. The organizational structure exists, but its implementation is not yet optimal. The implementation function follows SOPs, although constrained by billing system issues and geographical challenges. Supervision is conducted both internally and externally, but regular monitoring is still limited. Key obstacles include budget constraints, payment delays, and logistics challenges due to the hospital's remote border location. Efficient and effective management has a direct impact on the quality of patient services, particularly in drug availability, service timeliness, and patient satisfaction. This research recommends improving logistics information systems, strengthening interdepartmental coordination, adjusting budgeting strategies, and increasing accountability to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical governance in regional public hospitals

No full textThis study aims to determine and analyze the influence of good governance and work discipline on the performance of employees at the South Nunukan District Office. This study used a quantitative method with multiple linear regression data analysis using SPSS software. The primary data were collected from all 95 employees, both civil servants (ASN) and honorary employees. The results show that simultaneously, good governance and work discipline significantly influence employee performance. This indicates that the combination of good governance and a disciplined work culture is crucial in driving effective public service
Safety Culture Intervention Strategies to Enhance Patient Incident Reporting: Systematic Literature Review : JEL Classification: I10, I18, M12, M14, O33
No full textImproving patient safety incident reporting is essential to strengthen safety culture and prevent adverse events in hospitals. We aimed to identify safety culture intervention strategies to improve patient safety incident reporting. This study was conducted using a systematic data search following the PRISMA method through PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases to identify interventional studies published between 2015 and 2025. The main keywords included “patient safety, interventions, training, program, incident reporting, adverse event reporting, error reporting.” The findings were identified and organized through thematic categorization based on the Self-Protective Behavior Framework. The most prevalent and promising approach is multifaceted intervention. Key strategies, including education and training, feedback mechanisms, management support, and technology integration, showed consistent positive results with improved reporting rates. Improving incident reporting effectively requires a multifaceted strategy. Education and training must be reinforced by continuous feedback, strong leadership, and streamlined technology to build a sustainable and non-punitive reporting culture
Waste Analysis In CPO Production Using Lean Six Sigma
Get PDFPT XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of Crude Palm Oil (CPO). In its production process, a significant amount of waste due to product defects is still found. This can be seen from the production parameters recorded from January to June 2024. Based on 137 samples taken over six months, 132 samples did not meet the company's established standards across four parameters. This study aims to determine the types of waste occurring in the CPO production process, assess the sigma level, provide waste reduction recommendations, and minimize non-value-added activities. The study uses the Lean Six Sigma method. It begins by identifying waste in the CPO production process, with the most dominant forms being defects, overproduction, and waiting. The sigma level of the CPO production process at PT XYZ was found to be 2.20, with a DPMO (Defects Per Million Opportunities) of 240,277.8, which falls into the "good" category based on the average performance of the palm oil industry in Indonesia. Further analysis was conducted to identify the root causes of defects using a fishbone diagram. Improvement proposals were developed using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) tool. With the design of Process Activity Mapping (PAM) and Big Picture Mapping, the lead time was successfully reduced from 807.22 minutes to 728.88 minutes
Bibliometric Analysis of Inclusive Tourism Communication Research in Indonesia 2014-2024 in an Effort to Explore Opportunities and Determine Development Directions
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the development of research on inclusive tourism communication in Indonesia over the past decade (2014–2024) using a bibliometric approach. Data were obtained from the Scopus database using the keywords "tourism," "inclusive," "accessibility," "special needs," "disability," and "Indonesia." Visualization results using VOSviewer show an increasing publication trend since 2018, dominated by keywords such as tourism, Indonesia, accessibility, and disability, indicating a research focus on accessibility and social justice issues in the tourism sector. Publications are dominated by scientific articles and conference proceedings, while institutional contributions are still concentrated in several major universities in Indonesia. This analysis reveals the potential for strengthening cross-institutional and cross-disciplinary collaboration to support the development of more inclusive and sustainable tourism in the future
Analysis of Managerial Performance of School Principals in the Implementation of Healthy Schools to Encourage Healthy Living Behavior
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the managerial performance of school principals in the implementation of healthy school programs and its impact on the development of healthy living behaviors of students at SMA Negeri Bukit Bener Meriah. The background of this research is based on the importance of the role of school principals as leaders and education managers who are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating non-academic programs, including healthy school programs. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a Research and Development (R&D) level 1 design. The data collection technique was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation involving 12 informants, namely school principals, teachers, UKS coaches, coordinators of the Healthy School Movement (GSS), BK counselors, and students. The results of the study show that the principal has developed and implemented a healthy school program through healthy canteen activities, environmental cleanliness, health checks, routine exercise, and counseling on clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS). Supporting factors for the implementation of the program include the commitment of the principal, teacher support, UKS coaches, and cooperation with the health center. However, there are obstacles in the form of limited infrastructure, low awareness among some students, the influence of modern lifestyles, and lack of parental support. Overall, the managerial performance of the principal at SMA Negeri 1 Bukit can be categorized as effective, while at SMA Negeri 2 Bukit still faces obstacles in the consistency of implementation. This research confirms that the success of healthy school programs is largely determined by visionary principal leadership, continuous oversight, and cross-sector collaboration
Determinants of Parents’ School Choice and Its Implications on Student Occupancy: Evidence from Private Schools
Get PDFIncreasingly intense with the growing number of educational options available to parents. This study aims to identify the key factors influencing parents’ decisions in selecting schools while linking these factors to student occupancy rates as an indicator of institutional sustainability. The research employs an Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA) involving 113 parent respondents from Super Brilliant Kidz (SBK Center) and My School Palembang. The research instrument consists of 48 statement items that were tested for validity and reliability, yielding a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.914, which indicates a very high level of internal consistency. The analysis revealed four dominant factors school quality and excellence, school reputation and image, cost and accessibility considerations, and religion and moral values which together explain 41.98% of the variance. The findings emphasize that teacher quality, school reputation, cost transparency, and value-added programs must be consistently maintained across all levels to strengthen student retention. Theoretically, this study contributes by linking school-choice factors with student occupancy sustainability, while practically offering insights for private school administrators in Palembang to design strategies for enhancing competitiveness
Teacher Competence, Innovation, and Commitment in Improving the Quality of Language Learning in the Independent Curriculum Era
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the influence of teacher competence, innovation, and commitment on the quality of language learning in the Merdeka Curriculum era. The background of the study departs from the need to improve teacher quality in facing changes in the learning paradigm that emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and student independence. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey of 100 language teachers at the secondary school level. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26. The results showed that teacher competence had a significant effect on the quality of learning (t = 2.278; Sig. = 0.026), learning innovation was the most dominant factor (t = 4.126; Sig. = 0.000), and teacher commitment also had a significant positive effect (t = 2.531; Sig. = 0.013). Simultaneously, these three variables had a significant effect on the quality of learning (F = 38.957; Sig. = 0.000) with R² = 0.872. These findings confirm that competent, innovative, and highly committed teachers have a strategic role in increasing the effectiveness and relevance of language learning in schools
Strategic Issue Management in Opposing Land Grab, Environmental, and Humanitarian Violation of Super Premium Tourism Development
Get PDFThe development of Indonesia’s strategic national-scale project in turning Komodo National Park as a Super Premium Tourism Destination resulted agrarian issues, including local communities’ land grab, environmental, and humanitarian issues. The government has violated so many aspects to accelerate the project delivery and has made the people of East Nusa Tenggara, specific to the people of Komodo, Labuan Bajo, and western Flores Island as the victim from the negative impacts of the development. Local communities have expressed their voice to the government, demanding fairness and basic rights to be fulfilled. Instead, they have to endured repressive actions and intimidation from the authorities, while the requested requirements met the dead end. The government has been ignoring the demand and never included the impacted local communities and activists in the discussion. Responding to this controversy, UNESCO also raised their concerns and requested the government to submit an Environmental Assessment report, and demand to stop the development until the requirements are met. This article proposes strategic action to National Committee on Agrarian Reform and other related entities in advocating this group and the ecosystem in the region in fighting to get their demand fulfilled by the government through an agrarian reform. As challenging as it is, direct lobby to the government has to be done. To strengthen the pressure, this communication strategy plan to acquire the power of the Indonesian Netizen by creating public sphere, through public opinion war and media scrutiny, to make the issue going viral and push the government for immediate agrarian reform
A Linguistic Corpus-Based Analysis of the Synonym Differences
No full textIn learning vocabulary, synonyms become a big difficulty for Indonesian language learners as a second language, because they have the same or similar semantic meanings. The emergence of the corpus has brought about new research methods for the identification and analysis of synonyms. This study aims to compare semantic collocations and prosody of Indonesian synonyms 'secepat' and 'so that' so as to find differences in usage between the two words. This research method uses qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of this study are: the frequency of 'secepat' is higher than 'soleh' in the Indonesian Web Corpus (IndonesiaWeC), and 'soleh' is only side by side with the class of prepositions. Meanwhile, words that are collocated 'so' tend to be personal pronouns. There are 6 similar collocations between 'so' and 'so that'. Meanwhile, 'so that' and 'so that' have the same semantic prosody that is neutral
