Decision Support System In Selecting Teak Wood Raw Materials For Furniture Production At Lestari Jati
The furniture industry that uses teak wood as the main raw material faces various challenges in maintaining the quality of materials and the efficiency of the production process. Teak wood is known to have advantages such as high resistance to weather and insects, good structural strength, and distinctive and elegant grain beauty. However, the quality of teak wood varies greatly depending on environmental factors, tree age, and processing process. These variations can affect the final result of furniture products, so it is important for companies to choose the right raw materials. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) specifically designed to help Lestari Jati company in determining teak wood raw materials consistently and objectively. This DSS considers several main criteria, such as age, fiber, color, volume. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is used to give priority weight to each criterion and determine the best alternative from the available raw materials. With this system, the company is expected to be able to obtain accurate recommendations, accelerate the decision-making process, and significantly improve product quality and production efficiency, so that it can increase competitiveness in the teak wood furniture market

Surgical Treatment and Management of the Hernia Umbilical Riview and Update
Adult umbilical hernia repair has also undergone considerable sophistication over the last few years, shifting towards less traditional repair using the suture as the main repair material, in favor of mesh-based methods, which are more conducive to long-term biomechanical needs of the abdominal wall. This evidence-based review literature synthesises up-to-date evidence based on randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews, and recent clinical guidelines in order to compare surgical outcomes obtained using an open, minimally invasive, and robotic-assisted surgical technique. The results indicate that the mesh repair is always associated with the least recurrence rates in comparison to the suture-only closure, especially in cases when the mesh is placed in retromuscular, preperitoneal, or extraperitoneal positions; in these places, the tension-sharing support increases the durability and reduces the risk of seroma formation and adhesion. Less invasive extraperitoneal methods such as eTEP offer desirable rates of postoperative comfort and quicker recovery as compared to those offered by ENDOR with some extra advantages to hernias that come with diastasis recti by allowing the rebuilding of functional midline. Robotic repair enhances accuracy in performing more challenging dissections but depends on resource availability; the results of its repetition are similar to results with laparoscopy. The data shows that no one technique is always best, and effective repair is based on the ability to match the surgical strategy with the extent of defects, physiology, and capacity of the institutio
Compliance of Scaffolder Workers in Using Full Body Harness through Rewards and Punishment as Intervening Variable
The electronics manufacturing industry demands high levels of precision and accuracy, putting workers at risk of mental workload, which can impact work effectiveness and health. This study aims to analyze the level of mental workload among technicians in the electronics assembly maintenance division and identify the dominant factors influencing it. The study used a quantitative approach using the NASA-TLX instrument on 25 technicians, along with data uniformity and adequacy analysis to ensure the validity of the results. The results showed that technicians experienced high mental workload, with the highest score being 85.60 and the lowest being 68.50. The three main dimensions that contributed most were Mental Demand (average 312), Effort (278), and Physical Demand (250). The uniformity test yielded a BKA score of 90.12 and a BKB score of 66.30, indicating that the data met uniformity and adequacy requirements. These findings have practical implications for company management in designing ergonomic strategies and work policies to reduce mental workload. Recommendations include rotating technicians to reduce concentrated cognitive load, restructuring work hours and rest periods to optimize physical recovery, and scheduling maintenance shifts to reduce perceived performance pressure. This research contributes to scientific research by providing empirical evidence on mental workload in the electronics manufacturing industry and offering applicable work management strategies to improve technician well-being and productivity
Systematic Review: The Effectiveness of Resveratrol in Inhibiting Colorectal Cancer Cell Proliferation
Colorectal cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related morbidity and mortality worldwide, with increasing incidence particularly in developing countries. Conventional treatments face challenges such as resistance and toxicity. Resveratrol, a natural polyphenol found in grapes, peanuts, and berries, has been reported to exert antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer effects. To systematically evaluate the effects of resveratrol on parameters related to colorectal cancer in experimental animal models. Method: A qualitative systematic review was conducted by searching PubMed, Scopus, Sinta, and Google Scholar for studies published between 2020 and 2025. Inclusion criteria were in vivo studies using animal models of colorectal cancer, with resveratrol as the sole intervention, and reporting at least one parameter such as apoptosis, cell proliferation, oxidative stress, or inflammatory markers. Studies in vitro, in humans, or with combined interventions were excluded. A total of 512 articles were initially identified. After screening and applying eligibility criteria, seven studies were included. The findings consistently demonstrated that resveratrol suppressed tumor initiation and progression via multiple mechanisms: inhibition of Wnt/β-catenin signaling, induction of apoptosis and autophagy through FOXQ1 inhibition, reduction of oxidative stress and DNA damage, suppression of NF-κB signaling, and inhibition of epithelial mesenchymal transition and angiogenesis. Furthermore, resveratrol reduced tumor burden, metastasis, and inflammation in various colorectal cancer models. Resveratrol exhibits significant chemopreventive and therapeutic potential against colorectal cancer through pleiotropic mechanisms targeting proliferation, apoptosis, oxidative stress, and inflammation. These findings support resveratrol as a promising candidate for adjunctive therapy, although further clinical studies are required to confirm efficacy and safety in humans
Literature Review: The Effect of Ajwa Date Consumption on Menstrual Pain Intensity in Women of Reproductive Age
Dysmenorrhea is one of the most common menstrual disorders among women of reproductive age, characterized by lower abdominal pain due to increased prostaglandin levels that trigger excessive uterine contractions. Although nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are widely used, their long-term use may cause adverse effects. Therefore, natural and safe alternatives are needed, such as Ajwa dates (Phoenix dactylifera L.), which contain bioactive compounds like flavonoids, phenols, and phytoestrogens that may reduce menstrual pain through hormonal regulation and anti-inflammatory mechanisms. This study aimed to review the effect of Ajwa date consumption on the intensity of menstrual pain in women of reproductive age. This research employed a literature review design with a narrative approach. Data were obtained from five relevant national and international journals that discussed the effects of Ajwa dates on estrogen, progesterone, and inflammatory mechanisms. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively to identify the relationship between variables and summarize the main findings of each study. The review showed that Ajwa dates can increase estrogen and progesterone levels, which help suppress prostaglandin production, relax uterine muscles, and inhibit cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2). Additionally, their nutritional content, such as vitamins and minerals, provides a natural analgesic effect that supports physiological balance during menstruation. Consumption of Ajwa dates has the potential to serve as a safe and effective non-pharmacological therapy to reduce menstrual pain intensity through synergistic hormonal, anti-inflammatory, and nutritional mechanism
Association Between Body Mass Index, Visceral Fat, and the Risk of Metabolic Syndrome Among Obese Adolescents in Indonesia
This study examined the association between Body Mass Index (BMI) and visceral fat with the risk of Metabolic Syndrome (MetS) among obese adolescents in Surabaya and Sidoarjo, Indonesia. The research addressed the increasing burden of cardiometabolic disorders in adolescents, focusing on the importance of early screening for central adiposity. A cross- sectional design was employed involving 72 obese adolescents from junior and senior high schools. BMI was measured using standard anthropometry, while visceral fat was assessed through Waist Circumference (WC)and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). MetS was identified based on established clinical criteria. The findings revealed that both BMI and visceral fat were significantly associated with MetS, with BIA-derived visceral fat demonstrating the strongest predictive value. Adolescents with high visceral fat exhibited substantially higher risks of dyslipidemia, hypertension, and overall metabolic abnormalities. These results highlight the limitations of BMI as a standalone indicator and reinforce the need for integrating visceral fat assessment in school-based screening programs. Early identification and targeted interventions are essential to mitigate the progression of MetS during adolescence
