The Influence of Multiculturalism Education and Pancasila Student Profile on Religious Moderation of Students
This study aims to prove that religious moderation is an important and urgent matter among students. Religious moderation will be seen in relation to multicultural education and Pancasila student profile. This study was conducted at Karitas Tomohon Catholic High School with 205 students as respondents. This study is a causality study using a quantitative approach. Before the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, data normality, data linearity and data multicollinearity tests were first carried out. From the results of the data analysis, the R value was obtained as 0.688 and R² as 0.473 with a significance of 0.000. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of multicultural education and Pancasila student profile on religious moderation of Karitas Tomohon Catholic High School students
Analysis of the Role of Women's Movement in Overcoming Female Genital Mutilation in Order to Promote Change in Africa
This study discusses the role of women's movements in addressing the practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), which is considered a violation of Human Rights. FGM is inflicted on women based on cultural demands, effectively stripping women of control over their own bodies. Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is recognized as a form of human rights abuse that reflects deep gender inequality and constitutes extreme discrimination against girls and women. The research is conducted qualitatively, with data collection carried out through journals, books, websites, and scientific reports. In this study, the author concludes that the women's movement in the fight against FGM is effectively implemented due to the commitment of the Desert Flower Foundation and its supporters, which stands as a powerful and exemplary example of hope, courage, and solidarity. The efforts to end FGM in Africa over the years have garnered attention as international, regional, and national actors have united in taking actions designed to address this harmful practice. As the struggle against FGM continues, the Desert Flower Foundation remains a key player in the global effort to enable women to live dignified and free lives
Study of Ismuba Subjects on the Implementation of Religious Students
This study explores the implementation of ISMUBA (Islamic Religious Sciences, Muhammadiyah Ideology, and Arabic) subjects at SMK Muhammadiyah Bumiayu and its role in shaping students' religious behavior. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research examines the methods, effectiveness, and challenges of the ISMUBA program through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation analysis. The results indicate that ISMUBA subjects significantly contribute to enhancing students' religious understanding and behavior, including improved discipline, moral attitudes, and engagement in worship practices. Teachers employ educational, social, and amaliah approaches to instill Islamic values, emphasizing both theoretical learning and practical application. Key supporting factors include an exemplary educational system, adequate facilities such as mosques and libraries, qualified teachers, and a supportive environment. However, challenges remain, including the heterogeneity of students' religious backgrounds and daily practices. This study concludes that the ISMUBA program effectively fosters moral development and religious consciousness among students, making it a vital component of Muhammadiyah’s educational mission to produce well-rounded individuals with strong religious and moral value
The Effect of Giving Warm Compress Using Hotpack on Increasing Body Temperature in Post-Operative Patients with Hypothermia in the Recovery Room
One of the complications that arise after anaesthesia is hypothermia. Induction of general anaesthesia will cause vasodilation. Measures to prevent hypothermia can be done with a non-pharmacological approach called the rewarming method. in this study, namely to determine whether there is an effect of giving warm compresses using hot packs on increasing body temperature in postoperative patients with hypothermia in the Recovery Room (RR) of Prof. Dr. Aloeisaboe Hospital, Gorontalo City. used in this research is quantitative research using this research design is Pre-experimental with a one-group pre-post test design approach, the number of samples in this study is the same as the population of 10 respondents. The results showed that there was an effect of giving warm compresses using hot packs on increasing body temperature in postoperative patients with hypothermia in the Recovery Room (RR) of Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Hospital Gorontalo City with a P-Velue of 0.000 (α < 0.005). It is hoped that it can add information about giving warm compresses using hot packs to increase body temperature in postoperative patients with hypothermia and participate in providing nursing actions for giving hot packs to patients experiencing postoperative hypothermia in accordance with the SOP
Relayout of Production Layout to Reduce Material Handling Costs
Despite its long-standing operation, the company faces several issues related to the production floor layout, such as inefficient material flow, high waiting times, and suboptimal space utilization. These problems have led to decreased productivity, time inefficiencies, and an uncomfortable work environment. This study aims to redesign the production floor layout using the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method to improve material flow efficiency and productivity. The SLP method helps identify the relationships between activities and design an optimal layout by minimizing material transfer distances, reducing waiting times, and creating a more comfortable workspace. The research results are expected to provide optimal solutions for maximizing the efficiency of material handling distance and time while demonstrating the positive impact of layout changes on material handling costs. This study successfully redesigned the production facility layout to enhance operational efficiency. Changes were made to facilities C, D2, P, G, J, and I, along with the relocation of machine K and the removal of cutting machine H, which was no longer in use. The results showed a significant reduction in material transfer distances, from 23,457.5 meters to 13,194.65 meters per month (a 43.9% reduction). Additionally, material transfer times decreased from 438.41 minutes to 298.23 minutes per month (a 31.98% reduction). A comparison between the initial and proposed layouts revealed a reduction in material handling costs from IDR 269,738 to IDR 206,452 per month, resulting in savings of 23.46%. The layout optimization proved effective in reducing material flow inefficiencies, directly impacting operational cost reduction and productivity improvement
Analysis of the Effect of Position and Dimension of Infrared Burner on Heat Distribution and Efficiency of Butterfly Pea Flower Drying Oven
Drying is a process of reducing the moisture content of materials using thermal energy. A drying oven equipped with infrared burner technology offers improved efficiency for drying butterfly pea flowers (Clitoria ternatea); however, uneven heat distribution remains a challenge. This unevenness can result in non-uniform drying, prolonged drying times, and reduced final product quality. This study employs Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations to model the heat transfer process within the drying oven. Six different configurations of burner positions and dimensions were examined to evaluate their effects on heat distribution and drying rates. The results indicate that more uniform heat distribution is achieved with non-aligned burner positions, while larger burner sizes generally produce better heat distribution and faster drying rates. This research highlights the importance of optimizing burner position and dimensions to maximize drying efficiency and ensure consistent product quality
The Analysis of Leadership Expectation Concept for Safety Culture in Company Post Integration Process
This research aims to explore factor on Leadership Expectation concept for safety culture in company which acquired by holding company through integration process for almost 5 years. This study uses a mixed-method approach, quantitative survey and qualitative semi-structured interview, to obtain a comprehensive understanding of a company's culture following an integration. In the qualitative method, semi-structured interviews were carried out with 6 respondents on managerial level. The Quantitative survey was conducted involving 45 participants representing technician, operators and shift supervisor. The data analysis methodology uses Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to get into stakeholder awareness and understanding of safety behavior. The result revealed above 58% score analysis of five factors shown that employee can demonstrate commitment towards achieving goals, prevent errors and break away from old habits to attain favorable outcomes. The interview feedback show that the respondents believe this cultural journey have an impact to the operational. The main challenge is changing stakeholder behavior and culture that has been embedded from previous times. To overcome the challenges, Leader can provide clear justifications for each safety concern, demonstrate commitment towards achieving goals, offer support to colleagues who take initiative and make decisions, and are open to considering other ideas and perspectives
Analysis of the Efficiency of Vehicle Insurance Claim Business Processes Using a Process Mining Approach: A Case Study
The insurance claim submission process is one of the most critical components in the insurance industry, as it directly impacts both customer satisfaction and the operational efficiency of the company. A smooth and efficient claim process not only builds trust and loyalty among customers but also enhances the company’s ability to manage resources effectively. However, inefficiencies or bottlenecks in this process can lead to dissatisfaction, increased costs, and potential reputational damage. This study aims to analyze the efficiency of the vehicle insurance claim process at PT. X by leveraging the Process Mining approach, specifically utilizing the PM2 methodology to identify, evaluate, and address process inefficiencies. The research uses event logs collected from the company’s information system, providing detailed and objective data on the sequence and duration of activities involved in the claim process. By applying process mining techniques, this study uncovers key bottlenecks such as prolonged waiting times, deviations from standard operating procedures (SOPs), and unnecessary process loops that hinder optimal performance. Additionally, the research explores the root causes of these inefficiencies, including potential gaps in resource allocation, communication breakdowns, and outdated process workflows. The findings of the study offer significant insights for improving the insurance claim process. Evidence-based recommendations are proposed, such as the implementation of automated decision-making tools, improved monitoring systems for SOP compliance, and streamlining of redundant steps within the workflow. These recommendations aim to not only reduce processing time and enhance operational efficiency but also improve the overall customer experience
The Influence of Raw Material Costs, Direct Labor Costs, Overhead Costs, and Operational Costs on Sales Turnover
The research conducted intends to identify the effect of raw material costs, direct labor costs, indirect costs, and operational costs on sales turnover at the Upik family chip factory, both individually and as a whole. The method applied is a quantitative approach through a causal associative type of study, using secondary data. The resulting research indicates that simultaneously, the variables of raw material costs, labor costs, overhead costs, and operational costs have a significant influence on sales turnover as the dependent variable. Partially, the variables of raw material cost, overhead cost, and operational cost are proven to be able to significantly influence sales, while direct labor cost does not show a significant influence
Optimization Strategies for Government Fixed Assets: A Literature Review
Fixed assets are a critical component of the resources owned by the government to achieve organizational objectives. To ensure these assets generate optimal value, the government must implement an adequate management strategy. The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has issued Government Regulation No. 28 of 2020 and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 7 of 2024, alongside various other regulations established by central and regional government institutions governing asset management from planning and utilization to accountability. This study aims to identify the key challenges in managing government-owned assets and to explore strategies that can enhance the optimization of fixed assets. Adopting a qualitative descriptive method, this research is based on secondary data through a literature review of previous studies on asset management in Indonesia, as well as studies examining the factors influencing asset optimization. Although both central and regional governments have enacted policies related to asset management, several challenges remain, including regulations that lack clear guidelines for asset valuation and rental pricing, limited human resource capacity, asset planning that fails to consider long-term management, suboptimal asset management financing, weak oversight mechanisms, and insufficient coordination both within and between institutions. Effective asset optimization requires attention to several critical factors: robust asset identification processes, strategic planning that aligns with governmental needs and capacities, performance evaluation of each asset, and collaboration with the private sector. Optimizing fixed assets can significantly enhance public service delivery and act as a catalyst for regional economic growth
