Ischemic stroke remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally and in Indonesia, with multifactorial risk factors involving vascular, metabolic, and lipid disorders. Understanding patient characteristics at the regional healthcare level is essential to support targeted clinical interventions. Bangli Regional General Hospital, as a referral hospital in Bali, has not yet systematically published data on ischemic stroke patient profiles, making this study important for local clinical planning. This retrospective descriptive observational study analyzed medical records of 160 ischemic stroke patients treated at Bangli Regional General Hospital throughout 2024. Variables included age, gender, hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, history of heart disease, onset of arrival to the emergency department (<4.5 hours), and laboratory parameters comprising total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, and uric acid levels. Data were analyzed descriptively using frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations. Most patients were male (64.4%), with the largest proportion aged 60–75 years (38.75%), followed by middle-aged patients (32.5%). Hypertension was present in 67.5% of patients, type 2 diabetes mellitus in 15.6%, and a history of heart disease in 34.4%. Only 18.1% of patients arrived at the emergency department within 4.5 hours of symptom onset. Mean lipid values were 178.62 mg/dL for total cholesterol, 116.69 mg/dL for LDL, 45.31 mg/dL for HDL, and 123.35 mg/dL for triglycerides. Hyperuricemia was identified in 28.16% of men and 24.56% of women. Overall, ischemic stroke patients at Bangli Regional Hospital were predominantly elderly men with a high prevalence of hypertension and cardiometabolic abnormalities, reflecting national epidemiological patterns

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the effect of financial leverage on earnings per share (EPS) and return on equity (ROE) in the banking sector of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020-2024. Financial leverage is measured using the debt-to-equity ratio, while EPS and ROE are used as indicators of the company's financial performance. The research method used is quantitative with an ex post facto approach, utilizing secondary data obtained from annual financial reports for the 2020-2025 period. Data analysis was conducted using a simple linear regression test to measure the relationship and effect of financial leverage on EPS and ROE. The results show that financial leverage has a significant and negative effect on EPS in SOE banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This indicates that loan interest expenses erode net income per share, thereby reducing shareholder welfare, and that the debt financing structure is not offset by increased interest income or operational efficiency. Financial leverage does not have a significant and positive effect on ROE in SOE banking companies listed on the IDX, indicating that banking management is able to maintain equity profitability despite increases or decreases in leverage levels

    Get PDF
This study aims to identify waste in the 3 kg LPG delivery process at PT Nahatolu Miragas Prima and provide improvement proposals to improve distribution efficiency. The main problem is the delivery lead time that exceeds the estimated ideal time, causing delays to distribution partners. The method used is lean distribution with steps such as data collection of the distribution process, process flow mapping using Value Stream Mapping, and identification of waste based on 8 types of waste. Weighting was done through a questionnaire to determine the most dominant waste, followed by cause analysis using fishbone diagrams and formulation of improvement proposals using the 5W+1H approach. The results showed that the main wastes were in the waste activities of waiting, excess processing, and non-utilized talent. The application of future stream mapping shows the potential to significantly reduce distribution time by reducing the lead time of the distribution process from 732 minutes to 574 minutes. In conclusion, the lean distribution method is effectively used to identify and reduce waste in the LPG distribution flow by increasing the activity of the 3 Kg LPG distribution process by 21,5%

Optimal service is essential to ensure citizen satisfaction in managing population administration. This study analyzes waste in the Electronic ID Card (KTP Elektronik) service process using the Lean Service and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methods. The research was conducted at Office X through direct observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires to eight respondents directly involved in the service process. The collected data included service process flows, activity durations, waste identification, and their root causes. Using the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method and VALSAT tools, it was found that the total lead time was 1,953 seconds, but only 238 seconds (13%) were categorized as value-added activities. The dominant types of waste identified included waiting, duplication, defects, and unnecessary movement. Based on the score calculation results, Process Activity Mapping (PAM) was selected as the main VALSAT tool. RCA analysis using fishbone diagrams and the 5 Whys method revealed root causes such as inaccurate queue time estimates, repeated data entry, lack of supporting facilities, and inefficient workplace layout. The improvement recommendations include optimizing the online queuing system and adding supporting equipment such as tripods and printers. After improvements were implemented, the service time was reduced to 898 seconds, and the proportion of value-added activities increased to 27%, indicating that the application of Lean Service and RCA was effective in improving service efficiency

Visitor opinions on tourist destinations can be evaluated through sentiment analysis based on textual reviews. This study aimed to compare the performance of Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naive Bayes (NB) algorithms in classifying visitor sentiments toward reviews of Saloka Theme Park, while also assessing the impact of parameter optimization using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). A total of 740 reviews were collected from the Traveloka platform and underwent text preprocessing. The optimization process targeted key parameters of each algorithm to improve the F1-score. Experimental results showed that the unoptimized SVM achieved an accuracy of 89 percent, while NB reached 86 percent. After applying PSO, SVM's accuracy dropped to 84 percent, whereas NB improved to 85 percent with more balanced classification across sentiment classes. These results recommend the integration of Naive Bayes with Particle Swarm Optimization as a potential approach for sentiment classification of tourism reviews, particularly in the case study of Saloka Theme Park

Friedrich Nietzsche's Thoughts on Authentic Life From an Islamic Perspective

    Get PDF
The contemporary era faces a profound crisis of identity and meaning, often characterized by nihilism, which challenges individuals to forge personal meaning in a world increasingly devoid of inherent value. This study investigates the genealogy of Friedrich Nietzsche's thought on authentic life, comparing it with the Islamic concept of Insan Kamil within the Sufi tradition to address modern alienation. Adopting a qualitative library research design, the study uses interpretation and comparative analysis of primary philosophical and key Islamic literature. This method enables in-depth examination of their conceptual convergences and divergences. The research finds that despite distinct ontological foundations, both Nietzsche's Ubermensch and the Islamic Insan Kamil emphasize self-examination, conscious living, and the active creation of meaning. Nietzsche's critique of inherited morality resonates with Islamic teachings against blind imitation and hypocrisy, while his call for authentic self-assertion parallels Sufi principles of ego-struggle and spiritual purification. This comparative analysis offers novel frameworks for understanding and potentially mitigating contemporary issues like burnout, toxic positivity, and spiritual emptiness. The study concludes that both philosophies provide robust pathways toward genuine authenticity and purpose, underscoring the urgent need for conscious, responsible living in a rapidly changing world

Recontextualization of the Concept of Kiai Leadership through a Distributed and Regenerative Approach for the Resilience of Islamic Boarding School Educational Institutions in the 21st Century

    Get PDF
Centralized Kiai leadership, despite being the historical foundation of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), faces significant challenges in addressing the complexities of the 21st century. This article discusses the recontextualization of Kiai leadership through the integration of distributed approaches and systematic regeneration to build institutional resilience. This research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following an adapted PRISMA framework. A literature search was conducted in indexed academic databases using a combination of keywords such as "Kiai leadership," "distributed pesantren leadership," and "pesantren leadership regeneration." Data analysis was conducted thematically on selected studies. The study produced a hypothetical model that transforms the Kiai's role from a single operational leader to a visionary-spiritual leader. Distributed leadership is realized through the empowerment of the asatidz council, senior santri, and professional staff in operational decision-making. This model is implemented in three integrative phases: foundation preparation, empowerment implementation, and ongoing maintenance. The synergy between distributed leadership and regeneration creates a sustainable leadership pipeline. Distribution of responsibilities serves as a laboratory for cadre development, while systematic regeneration ensures the availability and quality of potential successors. This integration allows Islamic boarding schools to maintain their traditional values (such as Uswah Hasanah and Zuhd) while increasing their adaptive capacity and pedagogical innovation, thus building strong organizational resilience in a disruptive era
