The Role of Psychoeducation in Preventing Stunting: Tackling Early Marriage Culture in Adolescent
Stunting is a chronic nutritional issue threatening future generations, significantly influenced by early marriage practices. In East Java, Indonesia, early marriage has become a pressing concern, with a 10.44% increase in 2022, exceeding the national average. The region reported the highest number of early marriage dispensation requests in Indonesia, totaling 15,337 cases, or 29.4% of the national total. In the Madurese community, early marriage is often viewed as a customary practice, driven by unintended pregnancies and parental pressure. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of psychoeducation regarding stunting and early marriage culture in promoting stunting prevention behaviors among adolescent girls. A mixed-method approach was employed, using a quasi-experimental design with pre- and post-test groups, focusing on female adolescents aged 14-21 at the Wonoayu community health center. The independent variables include psychoeducation on stunting and early marriage culture, while the dependent variable is stunting prevention behavior. Data were collected using questionnaires for the quantitative aspect and in-depth interviews for the qualitative component. Results indicate significant improvements in stunting prevention behavior scores post-intervention. Psychoeducation effectively enhances knowledge about stunting's causes and preventive measures, enabling adolescents to take proactive steps. Furthermore, it fosters positive attitudes toward nutrition and reproductive health, encouraging healthier habits among participants

Juridical Evaluation of Articles 112 and 127 of Law Number 35 of 2009 Concerning Narcotics
This study aims to evaluate the application of Articles 112 and 127 in Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and analyze judges' considerations in the application of law and evidence in cases recorded in Decision Number: 154/Pid.Sus/2023/PN.Bnj and Decision Number: 294/Pid.Sus/2023/PN.Bnj. This research uses qualitative research methods with a normative juridical approach and case studies. The results of the study show that the application of Article 112 often does not distinguish between users and drug dealers, so that drug users are often sentenced to heavier penalties even if they are not involved in narcotics trafficking. Meanwhile, Article 127 which provides space for rehabilitation has not been consistently applied by judges in handling cases of narcotics users. Analysis of the two decisions shows that there are inconsistencies in the use of Articles 112 and 127, which have implications for justice for perpetrators of narcotics crimes. Therefore, it is recommended that judges consider the rehabilitation factor for drug users more and not only focus on prison sentences. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a fairer and more humane narcotics law policy in Indonesia
Implementation of the Role of Ankum and Papera in the Process of Resolving Military Cases in the Jurisdiction
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the role of Ankum (Superiors Who Have the Right to Sentence) and Papera (Case Submission Officers) in the process of resolving military crime cases in the jurisdiction of the Medan High Military Court I. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive-analytical methods through in-depth interviews, document studies, and observations. The focus of the research includes three main aspects, namely the case administration process in the military judicial environment, the application of fast, precise, and simple judicial principles after the integration of the one-stop system under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, and the role of the unitary commander in case resolution. The results of the study show that the case administration process still faces obstacles, especially in terms of the completeness of documents and the accuracy of procedures by Ankum and Papera. Although the one-stop system provides an opportunity to speed up the case process, technological limitations and internal resistance are challenges in the application of the principle of fast, precise, and simple justice. In addition, the role of the unit commander as the initial decision-maker greatly affects the smooth process of resolving cases, even though there is a disparity in the understanding of military law among Ankum. This study recommends increasing legal training for Ankum and Papera, stricter supervision of the implementation of legal procedures, and accelerating the digitalization of the military judicial administration system. Thus, these findings make an important contribution to efforts to improve the military justice system to realize efficiency, transparency, and justice
Effect of Contaminated Surface Water by Residents of Brick Kilns on Antioxidants and Lipid Profile of Rats
Antioxidants and lipid markers have gained significant attention in recent decades for their pivotal role in promoting overall health and well-being. On other hand, the improper disposal of industrial effluents has emerged as a major environmental challenge leading to contamination of water sources that subsequently impact public health. Estimation of the effect of contaminated water by the residents of brick kilns on the level of antioxidants (CAT, GPX, and SOD), lipid peroxidation MDA, and lipid profile (TC, HDL, LDL, and TG). A total of 30 surface water samples were collected from the areas near the brick kilns located in Al-Hai, Al-Kut, and Badra cities into labeled plastic containers. Then, overall 60 rats were divided equally into two groups; the 1st was given tap water (negative control), and the 2nd was given the contaminated water (experimental). After 75 days, blood was collected from all animals to obtain the sera that tested using the specific species quantitative enzyme-linked sorbent assay (ELISA) kits to measure the concentration of antioxidants, lipid peroxidation and lipid profile. In comparison to values of control group, results of antioxidants including CAT (5.419 ± 0.363 pg/ml), GPX (24.533 ± 1.317 IU/ml) and SOD (4.013 ± 0.479 U/ml) were reduced significantly; while significant increases were shown in results of lipid peroxidation MDA (187.333 ± 10.402 ng/ml), as well as in LDL (641.611 ± 54.809 ng/ml). However, insignificant variation between the values of experimental and control groups was seen in values of TC (3.528 ± 0.332 nmol/ml), HDL (36.283 ± 1.881 ng/ml), and TG (567.556 ± 72.724 ng/ml)
