This study aims to examine public perception of sustainability communication carried out through the Instagram account of PT Agincourt Resources, as part of the company's efforts to establish a sustainable image in the digital era. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, a survey was conducted involving 100 followers of the Instagram account @agincourtresources. Public perception was analyzed based on six indicators from McGuire’s model: presentation, attention, comprehension, acceptance, retention, and behavior. The findings reveal that the average public perception score is 75.3%, with the indicators of message acceptance and retention reaching very high categories (82.6% and 84.5%, respectively). However, the behavior indicator scored only 59.8%, indicating a need to enhance active follower engagement. These findings suggest that while sustainability messages are well understood and accepted, active participation remains suboptimal. Full text link
This paper focuses on discussing the school management philosophie of Sekolah Anak Rimba located in the Sarolangun Regency of Indonesia, the role of which was to preserve local wisdom through the development of educational materials based on nature. Based on a qualitative literature review basing on 28 peer-reviewed articles identified in the last 10 years in the areas of indigenous pedagogy, place-based knowledge systems, and ecological teaching, the research synthesizes some empirical evidence, and it dawns on us that both worlds should be combined to manage effectively in Indigenous environments, which means a combination of formal pedagogy experiences with cultural epistemologies and exposure to the natural world. Sekolah anak rimba is a good example of such integration by making its curriculum more sensitive towards knowledge in forests, and including the community stakeholders in structures of governance and as well as using experiential and ecology-basedm materials to teach. At the same time, the research identifies the structural barriers to the development of Özlig which include the lack of teacher preparation, a lack of alignment of the program with the national education policy, and a lack of support within the institution. Reframing educational management as an aspect of Indigenous schooling to be more than cultural resilience and ecological stewardship can be a strategic dimension, the study provides a unique angle of viewing Indigenous schooling in Indonesia. Findings are topically applicable in larger movements towards integrating formal education and the local cultural and environmental setting, especially on the margins, that live in the forests

This study examines the derivative and morphological inflection processes in the ritual speech of Rambu Solo in the Toraja tribe and how these are applied in learning the Indonesian language through local wisdom. By utilizing qualitative approach, the study explores the pattern of affixations e.g., pa-, si-, ma-, and ta-, and suffixes e.g., -na which are dialects of the Toraja language that express possession, agency, voice, and grammatical ties. The researcher surveyed cultural leaders, school teachers and language scholars by interviewing them and also recording the sacred speeches. The observations show that such morphological structures are not only rich in language but also rich in the cultural significance of the Toraja community because it demonstrates values to the core and social makeup. This research paper also shows how incorporation of these morphological aspect in the Indonesian language learning enhance contextual learning, increase the level of metalinguistic awareness and conducive towards ensuring the survival of indigenous languages. The study fills the core deficiency located in the sphere of language education literature, which tended to ignore including the local linguistic resources into formal studies. Teachers, cultural elders, were some of the participants who did not object to the use of traditional forms of speech as learning aids, but caution had to be taken to ensure that it is done respectfully and correctly. This incorporation is seen as corresponding to the objectives of Independent Learning curriculum because it removes rigid culturally-oriented learning environments

South Sumatra Province has abundant natural resources that support the economy, but uncontrolled development triggers environmental degradation and disaster risks. Sustainable management is needed in accordance with Law No. 32/2009 and PP No. 22/2021. Water regulation environmental services play an important role in maintaining hydrological and ecosystem balance. GIS-based spatial mapping of landscapes, natural vegetation, and land cover is important as a basis for sustainable environmental policies. The research was conducted in South Sumatra Province using secondary data from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and related agencies. Spatial analysis was carried out based on GIS with an overlay approach to three parameters: land cover (weight 60%), landscape (28%), and natural vegetation (12%). The assessment used the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and produced the Environmental Services Performance Index (IKJLH), which was classified into five categories: very low to very high. The results are visualized in a colored thematic map to show the differences in water regulation performance in each region. The results of the 2023 spatial analysis show that most areas in South Sumatra Province have good water regulation environmental services performance, with a dominance of medium (55%) and high (33%) categories. Ogan Komering Ilir (60.93%), Banyuasin (53.24%), and North Musi Rawas (26.19% very high) are among the best performing areas. In contrast, Palembang City (52.05% low), Empat Lawang, Lahat, and Lubuk Linggau show ecological pressure due to urbanization and land use changes. A Rare Case of Bilateral Chronic Dacryocystitis: Secondary to Punctal Stenosis and Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction Following Delayed-Onset Thermal Injury

Chronic dacryocystitis represents an ordinary ophthalmologic condition that develops when the lacrimal drainage pathways become blocked thus causing ongoing epiphora and continuous painful swelling and persistent infections. Onset of blockages more frequently results from idiopathic reasons but damage to the lacrimal pathways by thermal injuries stands as an important yet unrecognized factor that leads to major clinical outcomes. Early burn treatment of the face around the eyes can trigger progressive tissue scarring of lacrimal passages that might cause long-term blockages as well as infection development. A rare case of bilateral chronic dacryocystitis exists in a 24-year-old female because she neglected facial thermal trauma she experienced during childhood. The patient experienced persistent symptoms including epiphora in both eyes together with swelling at the inner corners of her eyes and drainage consisting of mucus and pus. Both of her tear duct puncta appeared narrow while the medial corners of her eyes showed small areas of swelling. The fluorescein dye disappearance test established severe blockage in both lacrimal ducts. CT contrast imaging showed that the bilateral lacrimal sacs were enlarged while simultaneously revealing duct obstruction together with no evidence of sinonasal mass lesions. The Staphylococcus aureus with low-grade Pseudomonas aeruginosa demonstrated in microbiological culture results while elevated inflammatory markers showed systemic inflammatory activation. The patient received systemic antibiotics and corticosteroids that led to remarkable clinical improvement before surgical planning could begin. The definitive treatment chosen was external dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) using silicone tube intubation because severe fibrosis together with septal deviation required treatment alongside polymicrobial colonization
