This study aims to analyze the factors influencing students' decisions to pursue higher education majoring in Islamic Studies. Using a mixed methods explanatory sequential design approach, this study explores five key constructs influencing student choice: family support, personal interest, religious understanding, perceptions of the quality of Islamic educational institutions, and career prospects. Quantitative data were collected through a Likert-type questionnaire and analyzed descriptively, while qualitative data were obtained through structured interviews to strengthen and explain the numerical findings. The study involved 105 students from three Muhammadiyah schools and one non-Muhammadiyah school. The results indicate that students' decisions are not determined by a single factor, but rather the result of an interaction between family values, institutional experiences, and spiritual motivation. Family support emerged as the most dominant factor in shaping students' religious orientation, while personal interest and institutional quality were strengthened by religious experiences at school and teacher role models. Religious understanding became an intrinsic driver for students to systematically deepen their religious knowledge, while career prospects had the least influence because Islamic education was seen more as a path to meaning than as economic considerations. Comparisons between schools indicate that environments with a religious identity, such as Muhammadiyah, foster a greater interest in Islamic studies. These findings confirm that the choice of Islamic studies is a multidimensional process influenced by the configuration of values, school culture, and students' spiritual aspirations

Indonesia, as an archipelagic country, holds great potential in marine and fisheries resources. Whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the most economically valuable aquaculture commodities, with production reaching 5,812.2 thousand tons in 2020, an increase of 52.8% compared to 2015. However, disease outbreaks remain a major challenge in shrimp farming. One common disease is vibriosis, caused by Vibrio sp., an opportunistic, highly virulent, Gram-negative and facultative anaerobic bacterium. Therefore, early detection of Vibrio abundance is essential for prevention and control efforts. This Final Internship Project (KPA), titled “Abundance of Vibrio Bacteria in Whiteleg Shrimp Culture Media,” aimed to determine the abundance of Vibrio sp. in shrimp ponds and analyze the influence of water quality parameters (NH₃, NO₂, and plankton). The internship was conducted from February 6 to April 17, 2025, at PT Parigi Aquakultura Prima, Central Sulawesi. Activities included water sampling, NH₃ and NO₂ testing, plankton density measurement, sterilization, TCBS media preparation, bacterial inoculation, and enumeration. Observations were carried out in six pond plots with weekly sampling from Day of Culture (DOC) 9 to 79. The regression model obtained was Y = 164.808 + 153.951X₁ + 2092.103X₂ + 0.000X₃, indicating that increasing NH₃ and NO₂ levels positively contribute to Vibrio abundance, each raising bacterial numbers by 153,951 and 2,092,103 units per one-unit increase, respectively. Plankton showed no significant effect. Thus, NH₃, NO₂, and plankton have partial influence on Vibrio abundance, although plankton contributes minimally

The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Padang City has increased during the 2018-2020 period. One of the efforts to reduce MMR is to provide integrated pregnancy services. The coverage of K1, K4, and K6 pregnancy visits is an important indicator in assessing the quality of these services, but the achievements of the three in 2019-2022 in Padang City have not reached the target. This study aims to find out the factors related to the visit of pregnant women to the Health Center. The method used is a mixed method with a cross sectional and sequential explanatory design. A total of 142 pregnant women in the third trimester became respondents in quantitative research, and 11 informants in qualitative research. The research was conducted in three health centers in Padang City. The results of the quantitative analysis showed that of the 10 variables studied, the level of knowledge had a significant relationship with pregnant women's visits (p = 0.009), and was the most dominant factor based on multivariate tests. The qualitative results showed that most of the respondents obtained information from digital platforms, but the Mother And Child Health  book has not been used to the fullest, the classes of pregnant women are not evenly distributed, and there is still an assumption that pregnancy is a natural process that does not need to be studied. Efforts are needed to improve health promotion and education for pregnant women to increase knowledge and awareness about the importance of pregnancy visits, so that the target of pregnancy service coverage can be achieved

Anemia has detrimental intergenerational consequences, including adverse pregnancy and birth outcomes, increased risks of mortality and morbidity, and impaired cognitive and motor development in children. These consequences, based on maternal status, indicate that anemia remains a major public health concern. This study aimed to analyze the effect of green spinach leaf vegetable consumption on changes in hemoglobin levels among pregnant women with anemia. A quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest group design was employed. The intervention involved administering 200 grams of green spinach vegetable daily for 7 days while temporarily discontinuing iron (Fe) tablet supplementation during the study period. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, involving 10 pregnant women diagnosed with anemia. The dependent variable was anemia, and the independent variable was the consumption of green spinach vegetables. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test and paired t-test to assess differences in hemoglobin levels before and after the intervention and to determine the effect of green spinach consumption on hemoglobin level changes in anemic pregnant women. The findings showed that the mean hemoglobin level before the intervention was 9.91 g/dL with a standard deviation of 0.612, which increased to a mean of 11.70 g/dL with a standard deviation of 0.878 after the intervention. The p-value was 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating a statistically significant increase in hemoglobin levels following the consumption of green spinach

Amidst global challenges, sustainable tourism has become a key strategy to support SDG Goal 8, namely decent work and economic growth. This study focuses on the revitalization of Surabaya's Old Town as a case study, which has successfully increased tourism and economic appeal. The objective is to examine the implementation of collaborative governance and the role of stakeholders in realizing sustainable tourism. The method used is a qualitative approach with phenomenology to explore the experiences of stakeholders. Data analysis is supported by ATLAS.ti 9 software, which facilitates coding, data comparison, and identification of complex relationships between factors. The results show that collaborative governance is an effective approach. Its implementation includes three main elements of Emerson's theoretical framework: principled engagement, shared motivation, and shared action capacity. Principled engagement is realized through open communication, collaboration between OPDs, and regular forums such as FGDs. Shared motivation is strengthened by trust, legitimacy, and commitment between parties, including academics involved in the preparation of the RTBL. Joint action capacity is demonstrated through the collaborative leadership of the Mayor of Surabaya and structured procedural arrangements. In conclusion, the implementation of collaborative governance contributes significantly to sustainable tourism development in line with SDG 8. This contribution includes an increase in tourist visits, local economic growth, job creation, cultural preservation, and community empowerment. This research proves that collaborative governance is an effective approach to realizing inclusive, productive, and sustainable tourism
