Polemic on Polri Reform: Where Do You Want the Police To Be Directed?
Get PDFThis paper examines the polemic surrounding the reform of the Indonesian National Police (Polri), which remains a key issue in the discourse on law enforcement and democracy in Indonesia. Since its separation from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) in 1999, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) was expected to become a professional, transparent, and accountable civilian institution. However, numerous cases of ethical violations, abuse of authority, and close ties to political power have resurfaced the fundamental question: where will Polri reform lead? This paper examines the background to the polemic, the cases that triggered the crisis of public trust, and the debate over the institutional position of the Polri, whether it should remain directly under the President or be moved into a ministerial structure. The research method used is a normative-empirical one . The normative approach is used to examine laws and regulations, particularly Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Indonesian National Police (Polri), as well as relevant internal Polri regulations. Meanwhile, an empirical approach is carried out by examining secondary data in the form of reports from independent institutions (Komnas HAM, Ombudsman, ICJR), court decisions related to cases involving police officers, and national and international media coverage. The analysis was conducted qualitatively and descriptively , outlining the phenomenon of violations, political dynamics, and civil society responses, and then linking these to theories of state institutional reform and legal principles. The analysis shows that structural change without accompanying cultural reform, a strong oversight system, and merit-based recruitment will only result in cosmetic reform. This article recommends strengthening external oversight, improving internal management, and orienting toward human rights-based policing as fundamental steps to answer the question "Where are we taking the police?" within the framework of a democratic state based on the rule of law
Analisis Sentimen Ulasan Produk Sneakers Lokal Pada Tokopedia Menggunakan Algoritma Naïve Bayes dan Support Vector Machine

Sneakers are now a symbol of modern lifestyle and global trends, with brands such as Nike and Adidas dominating the market. However, high prices are an obstacle for many Indonesian consumers. This opens up opportunities for local brands to offer quality products at affordable prices through e-commerce such as Tokopedia, the second highest traffic platform in Indonesia. The research analyzed sentiment from 1,032 consumer reviews of local sneakers from five stores: NAH Project, Aerostreet, Geoff Max, Ventela, and Brodo. The analysis was conducted using Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms. The SVM evaluation results produced the highest accuracy of 98%, compared to Naïve Bayes which reached 96%. This best model is implemented in a web-based application to analyze the sentiment of new reviews, to assess the perceived quality and consumer satisfaction of local sneakers products on Tokopedia

Get PDFThe fried-shallot industry generates large quantities of waste cooking oil, which is commonly stockpiled and, in some cases, distributed to nearby residents for household cooking. This practice poses environmental risks and potential health impacts, asdegraded oil continues to be consumed. These challenges form the basis of this community engagement program, whichaims to support partner enterprises in managing waste cooking oil to prevent negative impacts while transforming it into value-added products. The program aimed to assist the partner in managing used cooking oil into high-value, eco- friendly products in the form of biodiesel. The implementation used the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, emphasizing active participation of the partner in all stages, including socialization on waste management, biodiesel production training, equipment fabrication, and establishment of a biodiesel production unit at the partner’s site. The results showed a significant improvement in the partner’sknowledge and skills in waste management; 100% of the used cooking oil waste was successfully processed into biodiesel, providing additional income opportunities. Moreover, the activity encouraged the industry to operate more sustainably andcontribute to green energy provision. This program demonstrated that technical assistance combined with simple technologycan create an economically and environmentally sustainable production system

Consumer Psychology in the Digital Era
Get PDFThe digital era has transformed how consumers relate to products and brands. Consumer evaluation now extends beyond physical attributes and price to include digital experience, brand storytelling and social interaction on online platforms. Short form content, live streaming, user reviews and social recommendation shape perception, emotional memory and trust that together influence purchase decisions. Psychologically the decision process brings together rational appraisal and affective response. Ease of platform use, social proof and authentic narratives reduce doubt and strengthen emotional attachment. Features such as live shopping and personalized recommendations accelerate choice and make consumption more spontaneous. Practical implications call for designing digital experiences that protect consumer wellbeing and ensure transparency in personalization. Further research that captures temporal dynamics and cultural context is needed to reveal how emotional, cognitive and social factors interact within a rapidly changing digital ecosystem. Such research will aid development of practical guidelines that are responsible and centered on human dignity and privacy

Get PDFPT. Yazaki Technology Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam pembuatan fabrikasi, machinery, electrical, mechanical, service dan general suppplier. Permasalahan yang terjadi diantaranya adalah kurangnya display mengenai K3 dan masih kurangnya kesadaran dari operator mengenai keselamatan kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu memberikan usulan perbaikan sistem manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja dengan menggunakan metode Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, dan Risk Control (HIRARC) pada area produksi pembuatan trolley. Kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi pada area produksi pembuatan trolley sebagian besar karena faktor manusia yaitu tidak menggunakan APD sesuai dengan SOP perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan harus bersikap lebih tegas mengenai peraturan seperti memberikan sanksi terhadap operator produksi yang melanggar SOP yang telah ditentukan oleh perusahaan utamanya pada sistem manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (SMK3), melakukan penyuluhan mengenai pentingnya penggunaan APD pada area produksi, serta melakukan pelatihan kepada operator produksi secara berkala agar dapat mengetahui potensi bahaya yang terdapat didalam area produksi perusahaan sehingga dapat meminimalisasi terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Faktor lain yang menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja yakni faktor lingkungan, dimana sebaiknya perusahaan juga sebaiknya memasang display K3 dan SOP di lingkungan perusahaan utamanya di area produksi, mengecek setiap alat yang akan digunakan sebelum bekerja, serta memperhatikan kelayakan alat yang digunakan untuk bekerja (maintenance).

Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai gambaran sistematis tentang masalah yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan yang berlangsung selama penelitian dan memusatkan perhatian pada masalah faktual yang terjadi pada saat penelitian berlangsung maupun yang berhubungan dengan penelitian teknik pengumpulan dan pengolahan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Adapun aspek yang dianalisis aspek pasar .Usaha RPA CV.Panglima Chicken Kecamatan Mustika Jaya Kota Bekasi dapat dikatakan layak berdasarkan aspek pasar dan pemasaran karena saluran bauran pemasaran yang efisien dan sangat digemari masyarakat karena menyediakan sentra grosir dan retail selain itu RPA CV.Panglima Chicken Kecamatan Mustika Jaya Kota Bekasi memiiliki pelanggan serta mitra tetap yang bersinergi guna kemajuan usaha. Aspek teknis kegiatan produksi yang sesuai dengan kaidah SNI 01-6160-1999. Aspek lingkungan memiliki dampak positif serta negatif untuk masyarakat,aspek hukum memiliki dokumen perizinan usaha dari pemerintah aspek finansial Usaha RPA CV.Panglima Chicken Kecamatan Mustika Jaya Kota Bekasi dapat dikatakan layak dari segi aspek finansial dengan nilai BEP sebesar BEP (Kg) tahunan sebesar 96.000 Kg dan untuk BEP bulanan (ekor) dan / Kg sebesar 8000 Kg sementara untuk BEP harga (tahunan) sebesar Rp.18.240 serta Bep bulanan harga sebesar Rp15.200 yang berati pihak usaha harus menjual karkas lebih daripada harga Rp18.240 sedsangkan untuk perbulan harus menjual diatas seharga Rp.15.200 agar usaha tidak mengalami kerugian maka dinyatakan layak,nilai NPV (Net Present Value ) sebesar Rp.440.425.586 hal ini dikatakan layak karena nilainya lebih dari nol <0 Dan profitability index 2,10 nilai arus kas bersih yang diharapkan sebesar 2 kali lebih besar dari investasi awal. Endurance Profile of Fik Students of Class Ikor-E 22 with Bleep Test
Get PDFEndurance is closely related to daily human activities or work in doing work or moving. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of physical fitness measurements of endurance of students of the sports science program, class Ikor E 2022 using the Bleep Test. To determine the level of cardiorespiratory endurance or VO2max using the Bleep test. The research method used is descriptive quantitative (percentage). The population in this study were UNIMED Sports Science students of IKor E class 2022 totaling 26 people where 19 were male and 7 were female. The results showed that of the 26 Sports Science students there were 1 person or 2.6% of the physical fitness level in the very poor category, 3 people or 8% of the physical fitness level in the very poor category, 13 people or 50% of the physical fitness level in the sufficient category, 8 people or 36.8% of the physical fitness level in the good category, 1 person or 2.6% of the physical fitness level in the very good category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the level of physical fitness, especially cardiorespiratory endurance, of UNIMED\u27s athletic science study program students in Ikor E Class 2022 is in the sufficient category

Insights aim to inform policy and law enforcement strategies to combat social media-based online prostitution effectively. The result of this research is the intersection of online prostitution and social media platforms presents a complex interplay between technology, commerce, and societal norms within digital environments. Leveraging the communicative potential of social media, individuals discreetly engage in commercial sex work, navigating a dynamic ecosystem that transcends geographical boundaries to create a global marketplace for commercial sexual services. Multimedia elements and specialized terminology tailored to the online sex industry augment the visibility of commercial sexual offerings and facilitate transactional negotiations. However, regulatory frameworks have not effectively addressed the challenges posed by online prostitution, creating a legal vacuum that hinders comprehensive law enforcement. This underscores the critical role of law enforcement agencies, such as the Cyber Police, in combating illicit activities in the digital sphere.
