Challenges To Investigator Professionality In Law Enforcement: A Rule Of Law And Good Governance Perspective

The Role of Mens Rea as a Condition for Punishment: A Case Study of Tom Lembong from the Perspective of Indonesian Criminal Law
Get PDFThis study examines the centrality of mens rea as a requirement for criminal liability in Indonesian corruption cases, focusing specifically on the case of Tom Lembong. The challenge of proving criminal intent or the mental state of the perpetrator presents a significant issue within Indonesia\u27s criminal justice system, particularly when judicial verdicts contradict the lack of clear evidence regarding the defendant\u27s subjective element. The research aims to analyze the position of mens rea in Indonesian criminal law, review the mechanisms for establishing the mental element in corruption cases using a case study approach, and evaluate the legal implications of the absence of proof of mens rea for fair criminal responsibility. Employing a systematic literature review, the study synthesizes scholarly articles, court decisions, and relevant policy documents from the last five years, selected through strict criteria and thematic analysis. The findings demonstrate that, in corruption cases, the proof of the mens rea element is often overlooked, leading to convictions that do not always reflect the principle of geen straf zonder schuld and thus risk undermining substantive justice. This research offers a critical mapping of the evidentiary standard for mens rea, highlights the relevance of abolition as a systemic corrective mechanism, and provides innovative recommendations for courts and policymakers to more clearly distinguish between administrative motives and criminal intent, thereby promoting a more adaptive and just legal enforcemen
Analisis Daya dan Performa Sistem Pengamanan Kendaraan Berbasis Internet of Things
Get PDFA power analysis and performance study of a vehicle safety system combines vehicle contactor control, battery voltage monitoring, and an automatic disconnect feature to maintain power stability. Quantitative system performance measurements using statistical and probability approaches included connection reliability, voltage drop patterns, current distribution, and the relationship between operating time and power consumption. A total of 300 observation data sets were collected from a controlled testing process. The results show that battery voltage drop follows a negative linear trend with a correlation coefficient of -0.54, indicating a moderate relationship between load duration and voltage degradation. Analysis of relay response probabilities and WiFi connectivity showed a 96.3% success rate and a 3.7% probability of connection failure under standard network conditions. The distribution of errors in voltage measurements tended to follow a log-normal pattern based on the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test. Get PDFCoffee shops continue to develop as a business with increasingly fierce competition. To maintain and increase competitiveness, shop owners need to optimize their production and sales strategies. This research aims to optimize profits from the production of two popular coffee variants, namely Caramel Espresso and Americano, at Kedai Kudukumaha using the Linear Graphic Programming method. Through collecting data related to price, market demand, production costs and production capacity, we build mathematical models that help in making smarter decisions regarding resource allocation and pricing. The Graphic Linear Programming method is used to find the optimal point in the solution space that maximizes profits. The research results show that implementing the strategy resulting from this analysis can significantly increase the production profits of the two coffee variants. We hope that this research can add valuable insight for coffee shop owners and other stakeholders in the development of the coffee industry to improve operational efficiency and make more informed decisions to increase competitiveness and profitability

Analisis Timbulan dan Komposisi Sampah Rumah Tangga Dalam Upaya Pengelolaan Persampahan di Lingkungan RW 39 Desa Sumber Jaya Tambun Selatan
Get PDFPenelitian ini menjelaskan permasalahan pengelolaan persampahan di lingkungan RW 39 Desa Sumber Jaya Kecamatan Tambun Selatan Kabupaten Bekasi dengan menganalisis timbulan dan komposisi sampah rumah tangga. Tujuan dari analisis timbulan dan komposisi sampah rumah tangga tersebut adalah sebagai upaya pengelolaan persampahan yang tepat dengan mempertimbangkan sampah layak jual, layak kompos, dan layak buang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan kegiatan sampling untuk mengetahui jumlah berat dan volume sampah pada lingkungan RW 39 selama 8 hari berturut-turut berdasarkan pada SNI 19-3964-1994, selanjutnya menghitung persentase komposisi sampah untuk memperoleh jumlah volume sampah layak jual, layak kompos, dan layak buang. Hasilnya menunjukkan pada komposisi berat sampah sebesar 50,01% layak jual, 35,19% layak buang, dan 14,80% layak kompos. Pada komposisi volume berat sampah sebesar 51,80% layak jual, 34,91% layak buang, dan 13,29% layak kompos. Komposisi persampahan di lingkungan RW 39 didominasi oleh sampak layak jual 50% yang berpotensi secara ekonomis, sehingga dapat dilakukan pembuatan bank sampah yang terdiri dari dari area penerimaan, timbunan, dan area pemilahan seluar ± 55 m
Perancangan Tata Letak Fasilitas Proses Packing Coil Dengan Metode Sytematic Layout Planning (SLP) di PT. Tata Metal Lestari L-37 A
Get PDFMasalah yang dihadapi PT. Tata Metal Lestari adalah jarak antar proses packing yang terlalu panjang dan aliran proses yang tidak optimal, menyebabkan tingginya Ongkos Material Handling (OMH). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang tata letak fasilitas yang dapat meminimumkan jarak antar proses dan mengoptimalkan aliran material, sehingga biaya OMH dapat diturunkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Layout Planning (SLP). Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dengan metode SLP, diperoleh dua usulan layout yang lebih efisien. Usulan layout 1 menunjukkan pengurangan jarak sebesar 13% dan pengurangan OMH sebesar 22%. Usulan layout 2 menunjukkan pengurangan jarak sebesar 13% dan pengurangan OMH sebesar 4%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, usulan layout 1 direkomendasikan sebagai layout terpilih karena memberikan efisiensi yang lebih tinggi dalam pengurangan jarak dan OMH. Dengan implementasi usulan layout ini, PT. Tata Metal Lestari dapat mencapai efisiensi yang lebih baik dalam proses produksinya, mengurangi biaya operasional, dan meningkatkan produktivitas keseluruhan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode SLP efektif dalam mengoptimalkan tata letak fasilitas dan aliran material, memberikan manfaat signifikan bagi perusahaan dalam hal efisiensi dan biaya produksi

E-wallets have become one of the most popular solutions for conducting online transactions, but they are often vulnerable to cyber-attacks and identity theft. This paper aims to examine security management strategies and practices that can be used to strengthen user protection in e-wallet transactions. The methods applied include literature review and data collection to identify security threats often faced by e-wallet users and mitigation measures that can be taken to reduce these risks. The strategies discussed include data encryption, double authentication, suspicious transaction monitoring, and user training on digital security practices. It is expected that the understanding and implementation of these security management practices will provide better protection for e-wallet users and increase their confidence in utilizing electronic transaction services

This research aims to examine the role of leadership in building sports education management based on the philosophy of science, both from a theoretical and practical perspective. This article outlines key concepts from the philosophy of science that are relevant to sports education management and how these principles can be implemented through various leadership styles, such as transformational, visionary and situational leadership. Practically, the study also explores examples of real-life applications where the integration of strong leadership and philosophy of science can enhance the effectiveness of school management, improve the quality of teaching and encourage innovation in the educational process. Making an Electric Vertical Jump Limb Muscle Explosiveness Test Tool Using Iot Technology in Physical Education Activities
Get PDFThis research aims to design and develop an Internet of Things (IoT) technology-based leg muscle explosiveness test tool that can be used in physical education activities. The research design is in the form of an electric vertical jump tool, students only need to stand and jump in front of the media that we have made so that the results can be converted automatically. The research method includes the design stage, tool development, and testing of 30 high school students. The test results show that this tool has high validity with a correlation (r = 0.93) to the manual method, and provides accurate and consistent data. In addition, the survey showed that 90% of users found the tool easy to use thanks to the app-based digital interface that allows real-time data analysis. This tool makes a significant contribution in improving the accuracy and efficiency of leg muscle explosive power measurement, and is relevant for use in modern physical education. However, limitations such as the need for internet connection and manufacturing costs need to be overcome to increase wider adoption. This study concludes that an IoT-based leg muscle explosive power testing device has great potential to improve the quality of physical evaluation in physical education and sports training environments
