Ad Hoc On-demand Distance Vector Inherent Techniques Comparison for Detecting and Eliminating the Black Hole Attack Nodes in Mobile Ad Hoc Network

    No full text
It is important to connect wirelessly a group of moving mobile nodes together in a static or dynamic form, to transfer digital data between them, this form known as a mobile ad hoc network. This private network can be used in different essential situations where it depends on each connected mobile node to deliver and pass the data between them, without any fixed access point or router. Unfortunately, there are different types of attacks that can affect these nodes, and steal or corrupt the data inside, one of these attacks called the black hole attack. In this paper, a compared study will be done between two major innovative techniques derived from the ad hoc on-demand distance vector routing protocol to avoid the black hole attack; the paper will compare the two techniques in delay, throughput and packet dropping efficacy

Bromodomain Inhibitor JQ1 as a Candidate Therapeutic Agent in Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma

    No full text
Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) is a rare tumor that develops from the mesothelial linings of the pleural, pericardial, and peritoneal cavities. The actual risk factor for developing the disease is exposure to asbestos in workplace. Bromodomain and extraterminal (BET) domain proteins are epigenetic signaling agents that associate with acetylated histones and expedite the transcription of target genes. This study investigates whether the small molecule BET protein inhibitor JQ1 specifically may be an effective therapy for MPM. Reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction methods reveal an inclusive change in gene expression implying that JQ1 is a potential inhibitor which targets the BET proteins. Our results report that JQ1 has tumor-suppressive effects as it significantly ceased cellular activity in MPM cell lines. We predict that JQ1 may be the promising therapy for pleural mesothelioma cancers

    No full text
This paper is an attempt to shed light on linguistic deviation in literary style. Literary language, with its three main genres; poetry, drama and prose, is a situational variety of English that has specific features which belong to the literary and elevated language of the past. Literary language has been assigned a special status since antiquity, and is still used nowadays by some speakers and writers in certain situations and contexts. It has been considered as sublime and distinctive from all other types of language; one which is deviant from ordinary use of language in that it breaks the common norms or standards of language. A basic characteristic of literary style is linguistic deviation which occurs at different levels; lexical, semantic, syntactic, phonological, morphological, graphological, historical, dialectal and register. All these types of deviations are thoroughly investigated and stylistically analyzed in this paper so as to acquaint readers, students of English, researchers, and those interested in the field, with this type of linguistic phenomenon whose data is based on selected samples from major classical works in English literatur

Nowadays, the energy factor is considered one of the most important geopolitical factors that affect the security and stability of different regions of the world, especially those rich in oil and natural gas. Therefore, this research revolves around showing the nature of the relationship between the Ministry of Energy and the changes that occur in the security equations of countries due to energy, which in turn affects the creation of a state of stability and security instability for energy sources and the supply of countries. Through this research, we go beyond other recent studies on this topic, and link the most important elements of energy security to equations of stability and instability in energy-exporting and energy-exporting countries. Consequently, we analyze what drives energy-exporting and exporting countries to influence the dynamics of changing security equations in order to secure energy interests in their country. Until the research reached this fact, which, despite the success of some countries in the use of energy as a solid force and to ensure the security stability of their countries with energy ratios, they are generally energy-exporting countries and supplying them, and in order to secure energy security in their countries, they changed their security equations, and led This creates a state of security instability for countries at the national, regional and even international levels
