    A Genetic Disaster of Human Cloning: Ethical and Scientific Implications

    Human cloning may become a viable possibility in the far future; it is no longer a spectacular science fiction wisdom. The method is accessible. The dilemma is whether it would be ethical and acceptable in society, considering any associated consequences related to human cloning. Unlike a normal embryo, this one is abnormal, which has a genome derived from a combination of six sources, a human cloned genome would have one source. This procedure would undoubtedly eliminate the distinct qualities that a real child possesses. Its short-term and long consequences, on the contrary, are currently unclear. Cell cloning of human research potentially changes the variety of medical diseases treatment in the soon future. Human cloning or nonsexual human reproduction is a multidisciplinary problem that has been studied by scholars from several perspectives, including ethical elements and science perspectives, religion, and health. Because some scientific discoveries, such as human simulation, are related to human beliefs, several religious scholars have demonstrated distinctive responsivity to religious doctrine and consider such investigations to be contrary to divine verses and religious beliefs; as a result, human cloning has been prohibited. As a result, it is vital to investigate and analyze the reasoning of their contravention to demonstrate that scientific discoveries might not only not diminish but even deepen religion

    Comparison of Time Series Models before and after Using Wavelet Shrinkage Filtering to Forecast the Amount of Natural Gas in Iraq

    The procedure of reducing noise or reduction before analyzing the time series is important to get accurate and reliable outcomes when building models. Wavelet Shrinkage consisting of wavelets with thresholding is a powerful mathematical method used to reduce noise that can be exposed. It has time-series observations and selects the cut-off threshold level to be suitable for removing most noise. In this paper, natural gas production data in Iraq were used during (1981-2019), which included non-stationary data or outliers, so the researcher must treat this problem before starting the analysis. Thus, the researcher selected the way of time series analysis using Box- Jenkins (ARIMA (p,d,q) models and the method of wavelet shrinkage in the two methods of cutting the threshold before and after filtering wavelet shrinkage to choose the most suitable mathematical model that defines the study data. The paper was concerned with finding an efficient model by comparing the (Box-Jenkins) linear ARIMA (p, d, q) models estimated from the time series data before and after filtering the wavelet shrinkage, and then decreasing the rank of the estimated model from the candidate observations (While maintaining the accuracy and suitability of the estimated models) and re-comparing it with the estimated linear models of the original observations, and then measuring the most efficient model based on some statistical criteria, including the AIC (Akaike information criterion), SBIC (Schwarz information criterion, Bayesian information criterion BIC)and HQIC (Hannan-Quinn information criterion). Statistical programs such as Statgraphics XVII - X64 and MATLAB were used to analyze the data. The paper reached the efficiency of wavelet shrinkage filters in treating the noise problem and getting efficient estimated models, specifically the wavelet shrinkage filter (Daubechies(db8)) with a soft-threshold cut-off estimated by the fixed-form method, and the possibility of obtaining linear models with lower orders and higher efficiency for the filtered observations compared to the corresponding models estimated from the original observations, that is, the suitable model for the data is a model ARIMA(0,1,1) for the data paved in a Daubechies method, i.e., it is preferable to do the waveform analysis of the data before analyzing the time series concerning the observations of natural gas production in Iraq The preference was given to the model estimated by Box and Jenkins  ARIMA (0,1,1) model using wavelet shrinkage.     An Application of Logistic Regression Modeling to Predict Risk Factors for Bypass Graft Diagnosis in Erbil

    In the medical world, predictive models for assessing operative risk using patient risk factors have gained appeal as a useful tool for adjusting surgical outcomes. The goal of this study was to see if there was a link between the severity of atherosclerosis as determined by angiography and changes in several key biochemical, hormonal, and hematological variables in patients who had Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery. This study included 100 adult patients who had coronary angiography, as well as a standardized case-control study of acute myocardial infarction that included 60 healthy people. In addition, not all investigations of heart attack disorders were concerned with modeling; rather, they were all concerned with classification. A family of Generalized Linear Models called Binary Logistic Regression was used. Because most phenomena' outcomes have only two values (alive/dead, exposed/not exposed, presence/absence and etc.), logistic regression analysis is a common method and plays an important role in health science. Overall, 62.5% of individuals were grouped into surgical bypass grafts, while 37.5% were healthy people. Hemoglobin A1c (HBA1C) was wisely significant, and the odds of one unit increase led to roughly 7.488 times higher. Age and Body Mass Index (BMI) had quite high and substantial effect parameters with a 1.2 times higher likelihood than those who have smaller BMI and younger. According to the study, smokers were more likely to be at risk of undergoing bypass surgery by 4.18 times. However, there was no significant link between gender, screening creatinine, Cholesterol (CHO), Triglycerides (TG), High-density lipoprotein levels (HDL), Lower density level (LDL), Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP), and Diastolic Blood Pressure (DBP) with the outcome variable

    Relationship between Sera Vitamin D, Calcium, and Magnesium Levels in Pregnant Women with and without Postpartum Depression

    Postpartum depression (PPD) is a significant mental health case after childbirth, distinguished by behavioral changes and emotional disturbance. PPD is a significant public issue estimated to affect 10–15% of women worldwide. The study's objective was to investigate whether low sera concentrations of vitamin D, calcium, and magnesium during the third trimester of pregnancy are associated with PPD. The study population included eighty pregnant women between the ages of 25 to 35 years. They were divided into two groups (control and depressed group). Simple samples technique collecting was used for serum collecting from the two groups. When the blood samples were taken, vitamin D level was determined using an ELISA device. Calcium and magnesium were measured by using the spectrophotometric method. A health questionnaire structure was used for screening depression after birth. After measuring pregnancy serum concentrations of vitamin D of (40) pregnant control and (40) pregnant with PPD, we found that there was no significant relationship between vitamin D concentrations and risk of PPD (p= 0.6497). Statistical analysis indicated the significant differences (p= 0.0003) between sera calcium levels of the control group as compared with the depressed group. Significant differences (p= 0.0005) in magnesium levels between the two groups were observed. Our study detected that vitamin D concentrations in the serum of women during their last trimester of pregnancy had no statistical link with their risk of PPD.     يُعد التألق التنظيمي المطلب الأساسي لجميع المنظمات في البيئة التنافسية التي نعيشها، والذي يمكن تحقيقه من خلال أعتماد إدارة المواهب. وبالأستناد على ذلك فأن البحث الحالي يهدف إلى قياس الدور الذي تلعبها إدارة المواهب في تحقيق التألق التنظيمي وذلك عن طريق إتباع المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لأنه يسمح بوصف الظاهرة المراد دراستها وأثبات البيانات المجمعة من مصادر النظرية والعملية بأنها صالحة للمناقشة والتحليل والتفسير، وأعتمد البحث على أنموذج أفتراضي يدل على وجود فرضيتين للأرتباط والتأثير بين متغيراته، بالإضافة إلى أعتماده على برنامج (SPSS V.25) للتحليل البيانات. وتوصل البحث إلى عدد من الأستنتاجات أهمها تمثل بوجود أرتباط وتأثير لإدارة المواهب في التألق التنظيمي،  وتمثل أهم مقترحات البحث بإمكانية أعتماد إدارة المواهب لتحقيق التألق التنظيمي وتعزيز ترتيب الجامعات.Organizational brilliance is the basic requirement for all organizations in a competitive environment, which can be achieved through the adoption of talent management. Based on this, the current research aims to measure the  talent management role in achieving organizational brilliance by following the descriptive analytical approach that allows describing the phenomenon to be studied and proving the data collected from theoretical and practical sources that it is valid for discussion, analysis and interpretation, and the research was also based on a hypothetical model, shows two hypotheses for the correlation and influence between its variables, in addition to its reliance on the (SPSS V.25) program for data analysis. The research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is the presence of a talent management's correlation and impact on organizational brilliance, and the most important recommendation represent the possibility of adopting talent management to achieve organizational brilliance and enhance the ranking of universities

    لم يعد مفهوم الدم يقتصر على كونه السائل الحيوي المسؤول عن نقل الدم وتبادل العمليات الحيوية بل يتعدى ذلك، أنما هو عبارة عن حاضن الرموزالجينية .فقطرة دم صغيرة حتى لا تكاد أن تراها ،تحتضن الرموز الجينية الكاملة لكائن بشري.واظهرة الدراسات بان هذا الجينات  ذات علاقة قوية بين البناء البيولوجي وسلوكه الاجتماعي ولكنها تؤكد التوجه المعاصر الذي يولي أهمية لافراز الغدد وفصائل الدم، بوصفها محددات للسلوك. لذلك انتشرت ظاهرة الربط بين الملامح الشخصية للفرد وفصيلة  دمه.فلقد أثبت نظريا أن لكل فصيلة دموية من فصائل الدم الأربعة صفاتها المميزة (A،B، AB، O ) ، ووضعوا قاعدة كخاصية تحكم هذه العملية. ومن خلال هذا البحث يحاول الباحث التحقق في التعرف على طبيعة فصائل الدم وهل هناك علاقة وتاثيرعلى الشخصية الايجابية لدى طالبات كليات التربية الرياضية الجامعات اقليم كردستان . استخدم الباحث المنهج االوصفي لملاءمته وطبيعة البحث ، واشتمل مجتمع البحث على طالبات كليات التربية الرياضية في جامعات اقليم كوردستان ويشمل الجامعات ( كوية ، سليمانية ، صلاح الدين، سوران ،  كرميان ، دهوك), ولقد اعتمد الباحث الطريقة العمدية في اختياره للمجتمع. أما عينة البحث فقد تمثلت طالبات كليات التربية الرياضية  البالغ عددهم (200) طالبة ، وبذلك مثلت عينة البحث نسبة ( 80%) من عينة البحث. وبعد جمع البيانات وتفريغها تم معالجتها إحصائيا باستخدام البرنامج الإحصائي (SPSS)  The concept of blood is no longer confined to being the vital fluid responsible for blood transfusion and the exchange of vital processes, but rather it is an incubator of the genetic codes. In this research, the researcher tries to verify the identification of the nature of blood groups and whether there is a relationship and impact on the positive personality of female students of physical education colleges and universities in the Kurdistan region. The researcher used the descriptive approach for its relevance and the nature of the research, and the research community included female students of faculties of physical education in the universities of the Kurdistan Region and includes universities (Koya, Sulaymaniyah, Salah al-Din, Soran, Garmian, Dohuk), and the researcher adopted the intentional method in his selection of the community. As for the research sample, it represented (200) female students of the faculties of physical education, and thus the research sample represented (80%) of the research sample. After collecting and unloading the data, it was processed statistically using the statistical program (SPSS)

    Roles and Routines in Investigative Journalism in Collaborative Environments

     A global network of journalistic networks has transformed investigative journalism over the past two decades, adding layers of collaboration to what was previously an individual pursuit. A recent case of collaborative investigative reporting at its best was a worldwide effort to reveal breaches of tax haven information, through the Panama Papers (2016). As a result of these remarkable accomplishments, study on multi countries partnership is rising. However, it's still unclear how this combining of facilities, connections and time has influenced day-to-day operation. Newsrooms in developing and heritage newsrooms are navigating their patterns and duties while creating new investigative journalistic practices. The Guardian, a mainstream media firm that has worked at both the domestic and international levels, and Bureau Local, a society/neighborhood journalism co-op, are all given as examples. These actors use a language of justification to explain the differences between the old and the new. While "new" ideas become more common with time, notions like cooperation are also becoming element of decision making process, and information and information development take place within the conventional context of reporting

    The Full Factorial Design Approach to Determine the Attitude of University Lecturers towards e-Learning and Online Teaching due to the COVID-19 Pandemic

    The purpose of this study was to determine faculty members' attitudes toward online learning in Kurdistan region universities. The study examined the biographic and personal characteristics of the lecturer towards e-learning. The data was collected among faculty members at Cihan University-Sulaimaniya, and to analyze the data, a full factorial design with five main factors at two levels and no central points was applied for this specific purpose. The study's findings indicated that there was no significant relationship between gender and lecturer attitude towards e-learning. In comparison to teachers with an MSc degree, those with a PhD have a more negative attitude toward e-learning. Furthermore, full-time faculty members have a greater positive effect on teachers' attitudes than part-time lecturers. Likewise, the results indicate that lecturers who earned their most recent education degrees outside of Iraq have a more favorable attitude. Similarly, lecturers in the sciences are more favorable to e-learning than those in the arts and social sciences. In addition, the findings demonstrated that the interaction factors (Gender) and (Education Degree) have a negative effect on lecturers' attitudes when they are combined. Besides that, the interaction of factors (Country of Last Education Degree) and (Faculty Member Types) improves attitudes toward e-learning. Based on the results, it is suggested that academic staff receive e-learning training to deepen their knowledge and understanding of such a modern teaching system. There is also a need to enhance factors related to positive attitudes towards e-learning among university lecturers. The findings of this study are necessarily significant to both teachers and educational organizations in Kurdistan Region universities. &nbsp

    Serum Fibroblast Growth Factors 23, Chemerin, and Vitamin D Levels in Patients with Psoriasis

    The aim of the study was to compare the levels of fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF23) and chemerin, as well as Vitamin D in psoriasis sufferers and healthy controls. From 2021 to 2022, ninety subjects were studied. The study comprised 45 individuals with psoriasis and 45 healthy controls. Serum fasting FGF23 and chemerin levels of the study group were examined by sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The results demonstrate that the mean serum FGF23 and chemerin quantities in psoriasis patients were greater than in controls, with a statistically significant. Patients with psoriasis, on the other hand, had considerably lower blood Vitamin D levels than healthy controls. These findings demonstrate that psoriatic patients have lower Vitamin D levels than healthy controls, and they add to the growing body of data linking FGF23, chemerin Vitamin D levels, and the course of psoriasis
