In this paper, we present the Hyers-Ulam stability of Cubic functional equation. where n is greater than or equal to 4, in Random Normed Space

Least Squares Estimator for Vasicek Model Driven by Fractional Levy Processes

    Get PDF
In this paper, we consider parameter estimation problem for Vasicek model driven by fractional lévy processes defined We construct least squares estimator for drift parameters based on time?continuous observations, the consistency and asymptotic distribution of these estimators are studied in the non?ergodic case. In contrast to the fractional Vasicek model, it can be regarded as a Lévy generalization of fractional Vasicek model

On Twisted Sums of Sequence Spaces

    Get PDF
We prove the existence of non trivial twisted sums involving the pth James space Jp(1 < p < 1), the Johnson-Lindenstrauss space JL; the James tree space JT , the Tsirelson’s space T and the Argyros and Deliyanni space AD . We also present non trivial twisted sums involving their duals and biduals. We show that there are strictly singular quasi-linear maps from the spaces T ;T* ; AD and JT into C[0; 1]. We discuss the Pelczynski’s property(u) for the twisted sums involving these spaces which extends a pthJames-Schreier spaces Vp(1 < p <1) or J2.&nbsp

Some local Forms of Known Convergences of Sequence of Real Valued Functions

    Get PDF
Using the notions of local uniform and strong local uniform con-vergence for the sequence of real valued functions or with value in metric space, the class of locally equally and strong locally equally convergences are studied. We are concern to dependence of type of some convergences from the neighborhood of the limit point. The known locally uniformly convergence is a key of some applications of this idea. We can reformulate one type of Arzela Theorem and nd relations of this convergence with quasi-uniformly by segments of Alexandro off convergence. Beside this type of convergence, we focus to another convergence which is nearer the well known a-convergence

Optimization of 6-Gingerol Extraction Assisted by Microwave From Fresh Ginger Using Response Surface Methodology

    Get PDF
The present study investigates optimum conditions for Microwave assisted extraction (MAE) of 6-gingerol. Ginger was dried using a cross flow dryer at 55 ± 2 0C for eight hours. Ginger powder was extracted at three different watts (400 W, 500 W, and 600 W), temperatures (50 0C, 60 0C, 70 0C) and time (10, 20, 30 min) for optimum yield.  6-gingerol content was found to be 21.15 ± 0.13 and 18.81 ± 0.15 mg/g in fresh ginger and dried ginger, respectively.  Optimized condition obtained by RSM for 6-gingerol was 400 W, 70 0C at 10 min extraction time.  The results of MAE are expressed by 2-D contour plot and response surface curve by keeping one variable constant which showed highest yield at 600 W, 70 0C for 30 min extraction time.  Microwave assisted extracts exhibited higher antioxidant activity in comparison with conventional extracts

Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetric Analysis for Determination Selenium (IV) in Bulk and in Dosage Formulations Using Multi-Modified Gold Electrode With a Mixture of O-Phenylenediamine and 2,3-Diaminonaphthalene-Nafion

The effect of gold electrode modified with 2,3-Diaminonaphthalene (GEMDANN) or multi-modified or a mixture 2,3-diaminonaphthalene and o-phenylenediamine -nafion (GEMDAN-OPDAN) on determination of selenium (IV) using differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetric analysis (DPASVA) has been studied. Various parameters (electrolyte, deposition time, pulse duration, pulse amplitude, etc.) are affecting determination of the Se(IV) in HClO4 (0.2 M) at pH 0.22 were examined. Under the optimum conditions, liner calibration graph, Ip=f(CSe4+), were obtained in the concentration ranges of 5x10-8 - 1x10-6 M (3.948 -78.96 ng.mL-1 ) with relative standard deviations (RSD) 4.2% and detection limit 0.056 ng.mL-1, and 1x10-9 -1x10-6 M (0.07896 -78.96 ng.mL-1 ) with relative standard deviations (RSD) 4.9% and detection limit was 0.014 ng.mL-1 on GEMDANN and GEMDAN-OPDAN, respectively. This method showed a good accumulation efficiency for selenium and good resistance to interferences from metal ions as well as those associated with selenium in pharmaceuticals. The results for the determination of Se4+ using GEMDAN-OPDAN (multi-modified) were more sensitive (about 50 times) than that obtained using GEMDANN

Some new formulas on the K-Fibonacci numbers

In this paper, we find some formulas for finding some special sums of the k-Fibonacci or the k-Lucas numbers. We find also some formulas that relate the k-Fibonacci or the k--Lucas numbers to some sums of these numbers.

Variations of Moisture Content in The Presence of Combined Flux

    Get PDF
A model for diffusion in grains, through the drying process in the form of moisture removal, discussed through this work. While in drying, the moisture leaves the product as vapour or gas. This is achieved by impairing energy to the moisture molecule or changing the environment, so that the molecule will have sufficient latent energy to leave the product. Hence it is the process, which is intended to remove moisture from a feed substance so that the feed becomes dry as final product. Moisture reduction can also be achieved by mechanical methods. Using the pressure gradient as the deriving force with combined flux, we get a system of partial differential equation which will be then solved with the help of MATLAB 7.0 and finally the graphs shows the variation of moisture with respect to diffusion coefficient at different temperature and as well as variation of moisture with the time

Best Quadratic unbiased Estimator for Variance Component of One-Way Repeated Measurement Model

    Get PDF
The studies of analysis of variance components is one of the important topics in mathematical statistics for this subject of wide application. In this paper given best quadratic unbiased estimator of variance components for balanced data for linear one-way repeated measurement model (RMM). We computed the quadratic unbiased estimator, which has minimum variance (best quadratic unbiased estimate (BQUE)) by using analysis of variance (ANOVA) method of estimating the variance components

Attracting Sets Of Nonlinear Difference Equations With Time-Varying Delays

    Get PDF
In this paper, a class of nonlinear difference equations with time-varying delays is considered. Based on a generalized discrete Halanay inequality, some sufficient conditions for the attracting set and the global asymptotic stability of the nonlinear difference equations with time-varying delays are obtained
