In Ukraine, land relations have been undergoing permanent reforming for more than twenty-five years. The transition period characterized by the events such as the abandonment of a command economy and the advent of a market economy has considerably affected the various aspects of land ownership and land use, starting with change in the form of land ownership and land resource distribution (reparcelling) and all the way up to attempts to develop a free market of agricultural lands. Nowadays, the use of land resources for agricultural purposes shows certain tendencies and particularities, which both heavily depend on and spring up due to the intensification of competition on the land rental market, an acute need for preserving soil and reviving its fertility, and the necessity to ensure rational and efficient use of agricultural lands.Management decisions concerning each one of the domains aforementioned should be well-grounded considering external environment, market and internal economic status quo. Making this possible means developing a rational system to enable a comprehensive analysis of land resources with respect to all decision-making levels

The influence of inflationary and deflationary processes on the determination of the fair value of goods and services is studied in the article. It is established that as a result of changes in the value of money over time, national currencies are not able to effectively perform the function of a measure of value for a long time. In conditions when gold ceased to be the standard of value measurement and became a commodity, in developing countries, the function of the measure of value is taken over by the currencies of countries with more powerful economies. A consequence of this is the strengthening of dollarization and activation of devaluation processes of weaker and open national economies. With the aim of eliminating these problems, determining the fair and real value of goods and services for a long time, it is proposed to introduce a single indexing of a conventional monetary unit. The domestic and foreign experience in implementing the relevant mechanisms has been studied, and recommendations have been made for their testing and implementation within the national economy

The article provides results of a sociolinguistic survey conducted among students in order to determine successful or unsuccessful encoding of information by author in paratext elements of modern Ukrainian plays. The research confirmed advanced hypothesis and proved that the majority of respondents expect shock and experiments from modern dramas. 250 respondents, who are students of Oles’ Honchar Dnipro National University Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Philology and Arts, aged 19 to 23, have completed a questionnaire. These were students of philological department, whose professional qualification requires knowledge of works of art, including dramas, selected as respondents since modern Ukrainian drama tends to be rather unpopular and readers are disinterested in reading plays. Analysis of the responses to the questionnaire showed that paratext elements shape future hypothetical communication between author and reader, as well as provide the later with a certain set of expectations from reading the drama text. Genre features of drama stipulate a rich ground for reader’s imagination, the range of which has diametrical limits and which determines recipient’s personality. Association experiment proved consistency of reader’s perception of author’s intentions

    Get PDF
The article offers a new product based theory of economic cycles. The theory explains economic activity fluctuations from the point of life-cycle of marketable goods and services.Based on our assumptions, we have created a model of world GDP and described its dynamics for the period from 1960 till 2015. In this article, we consider long-term growth trend as granted and as an independent variable due to the complexity of factors, which influence economic growth, while defining economic cycles as a recurrent process, which is analyzed by the model. Considering that, we used Hodrick-Prescott filter as an approximated function to the trend component and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) as the method of spectral analysis of the cyclical component after detrending. We have also discovered main features of economic cycles in developed and developing countries along with the dependency of economic cycles’ amplitudes on the level of financial sector development
